The 2015 KBS Entertainment Awards took placed in KBS Studios on December 26. The awards ceremony was hosted by comedian Shin Dong Yup, singer Sung Si Kyung, and AOA’s Seolhyun.

For the Best Male Entertainer Award under Variety Show category, the nominees were Moon Hee Joon of “Immortal Song,” Song Il Gook of “The Return of Superman,” Jung Joon Young of “2 Days & 1 Night,” Jung Tae Ho of “The Human Condition,” and announcer Jo Woo Jong of “A Look at Myself.”

The award went to Song Il Gook. In his acceptance speech, he commented, “Thanks to all the production crew members of ‘The Return of Superman,’ I was able to be a good dad. We just finished our final taping. Thank you so much for your love for Daehan, Minguk, and Manse.”

Best Variety Show Program nominees chosen by the viewers were “2 Days & 1 Night,” “The Return of Superman,” “Gag Concert,” “Immortal Song,” “Hello Counselor,” and “Happy Together.”

Actress Kim Soo Mi and comedian Park Myung Soo of “A Look at Myself” put on a special stage along with singers Hong Jin Young and producer and singer Yoo Jae Hwan.

Upcoming girl group Cosmic Girls under fire for using EXO as media play

Fans have definitely been comparing Starship Entertainment‘s upcoming girl group with popular male group EXO, but netizens are criticizing the group for promoting the comparison.

In addition to being a large group of twelve members, Cosmic Girls also boasts Chinese members, making it easy to compare them with SM Entertainment group EXO.

However, netizens pointed out that the group was using the comparisons as media play, adding that the group even retweeted an article calling Cosmic Girls the “female EXO” using their official Twitter account. The article also includes a quote from the group, who said that they will see if they were able to keep their Chinese members, something that EXO has failed to do. (apparently this isnt even true)

Netizen Relays Shocking News About “Three Meals a Day” Puppies Minki and Sapphire

Some shocking and sad news about the mascot of “Three Meals a Day,” Minki, and her puppy Sapphire was relayed.

While Eddie, Minki’s other puppy, has found a loving home with 2PM‘s Taecyeon, it seems that the other two dogs were not as lucky.

Recently on the official “Three Meals a Day” viewer forum, a post with the title, “Update on Minki and Sapphire” was uploaded. The post contained shocking pictures of Sapphire (above).

In the photo, the poor puppy does not look like he has been cared for at all. His fur is a mess, and he looks like he has no energy.

The original poster revealed that he had gone to visit the puppies, only to find them in a bad state. The netizen said, “The grandmother who owned Minki sold her off for 100,000 won (approximately $86).” It seemed like the previous owner did not keep track of Minki, so it is unknown where Minki is at this point. While Sapphire remains with the grandmother, the poster revealed that Sapphire was being kept in awful condition, saying, “[Sapphire] was crawling with ticks. He looked weaker and more down than the other dogs there.”

The poster then asked for help, saying, “It would be great if we could send Sapphire some essential equipment and medication. He needs continuous help and love instead of just being a cute thing on display.”

Sunny Fosters Kitten And Raises Awareness On Street Cat Abuse And Animal Cruelty

Recently, SBS‘s “Animal Farm” relayed that Sunny became the temporary caretaker for the stray cat Nabi.

Nabi almost lost its life when it was caught on a trap, but was rescued miraculously.

However, after the rescue, Nabi had not been able to find a home. When Girls’ Generation’s Sunny heard about this, she volunteered to become the temporary caretaker.

Sunny says, “Of course, you might not like stray cats. But still, it’s a living thing, so I hope we can find a way for lots of people to take interest and be together.”

Meanwhile, you can watch Sunny take care of the cat with all her heart on the December 27 broadcast of “Animal Farm.”

Sunny is such an animal lover, her reputation for catching chickens aside. She took care of Pureum the cow during IY and her calf after it died and really seems to love her cat Sogeum who she says, helped her heal a lot from her recent depression.

IU has been casted as the female lead of Moon Lovers, a remake of the popular Chinese drama Bu Bu Jing Xin, also known as Scarlet Heart, or Startling with Each Step.

SBS has announced that SBS and the production company are currently negotiating to air the drama in September. The drama will start its shooting in January.

At the moment Kang Ha Neul, Hong Jong Hyun, Baekhyun, Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Sung Gyun, and Ji Soo have confirmed their casting. Lee Jun Ki has been offered the role of male main lead.
