To think this all started by searching for a fancam of my fave trot singer, Hong Jinyoung

F(x)’s Krystal Considers Lead Role Opposite Rain in “My Lovely Girl”

After her supporting roles in dramas “High Kick” and “The Heirs,” it looks like f(x)’s Krystal might be making her next big move as an actress as she finally takes a lead role in the upcoming music romance drama, “My Lovely Girl.”

According to multiple broadcast sources, Krystal will appear as the lead actress in the upcoming SBS drama, “My Lovely Girl.” The Wednesday-Thursday drama is singer-actor Rain’s highly anticipated comeback drama this year.

One source said, “Krystal’s agency is currently in the middle of positively reviewing the proposal for the lead actress role. After Rain’s casting was finalized, (the talks regarding) Krystal’s appearance in the drama is also wrapping up and casting for the major roles is in the final stages.” Aside from Rain, INFINITE’s L is also confirmed to star in the drama.

SM C&C has confirmed the buzz regarding Krystal’s appearance in the drama and said, “It’s true that we received a proposal (for Krystal) to appear in the drama. It’s a good opportunity so we are currently carefully considering it.”

Krystal has made her acting debut on 2010 in MBC’s “More Charming by the Day” wherein she took on a supporting role. This was followed by another supporting role in the 2011 sitcom, “High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged.” Last year, Krystal made an advancement in her acting career as she appeared alongside top stars Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye in the drama, “The Heirs.” Her appearance on “My Lovely Girl,” when confirmed, will be the singer-actress’ first lead role since her debut as an actress.

“My Lovely Girl” is a romantic fantasy drama series set against the background of the entertainment industry. It will tell the story of two pained individuals who will find healing through music.

In the drama, Krystal is offered to play the role of Yoon Se Na, a music producer who has lost her mother and sister and has lived a tough life. Her character will forge a working and personal relationship with the perfect guy Hyun Wook, an entertainment agency CEO and producer, played by Rain.

“My Lovely Girl” is slated to air on September 17 after the completion of the drama, “It’s Okay, It’s Love.”

Park Boram of Mnet′s Superstar K2 will finally debut on August 7.

The star teased for her upcoming debut on July 30 through her Instagram.

The picture she uploaded shows her with a new look, in blond hair and a white see-through top.

Friends and seniors such as Yoon Jong Shin, Huh Gak and Hong Dae Kwang also put up her teaser photo and showed support for her endeavors.

A rep from Park Boram′s agency MMO stated, "We want to thank everyone who′s showing interest in Park Boram′s new look. Park Boram will be making her debut four years since her Superstar K appearance, and she′s worked hard during that time to improve her looks and her skills. Son Ha Yoon To Star Alongside GOT7 In Upcoming Online Drama

Actress Song Ha Yoon will officially star as the girl of GOT7's dreams in their upcoming online drama series.

Although the title of the drama has not been revealed yet, it will be produced by JYP Pictures and Youku Tudou! The online fantasy romance series portrays the story of dreams, love, and friendship between a girl who carries an emotional baggage, and lives a life with mysterious flower boys. The drama will be filled with lots of dancing and singing so it will be surely fun to watch.

The members of GOT7 will take on the roles of members of a famous idol group while being mysterious flower boys who will protect the female lead (Song Ha Yoon).

The drama is set to premiere in mid-August, and will star airing on Tudou this second half of 2014.

Jang Hyuk, who plays the role of Lee Gun in MBC’s “Fated to Love You,” is gathering much attention for his naughty yet detailed “hand acting” in the drama.

Already 10 episodes into the drama, Jang Hyuk is successfully portraying the character of Lee Gun, a CEO of a big company that mistakenly has a one-night stand with Mi Young, portrayed by Jang Nara, but ends up falling in love with her. Through his character Jang Hyuk shows that he can also be a king of romantic comedy, as he often lets his heavy image go and readily shows his comic side in his acting. With this viewers are often pointing out that his charms are endless. Much attention, however, has been brought upon Jang Hyuk’s hands, as he uses them to portray a man that is attempting to control his lust towards the woman he loves. Touching yet not touching, it was a point in the drama that signaled the start of showing his love for Mi Young on screen. These small details shown by his hands eventually brought the term “hand acting” into light.

Jang Hyuk’s hand acting was also seen in previous episodes. When he followed Mi Young, who was pregnant with his child, to new-parent classes, his hands were used to bring out the awkwardness between the two when asked to massage her chest. Also, the “snail” couple made up a cute sign that symbolized the snail portrayed in the drama. Essentially a bent peace sign, the couple gained much attention for the adorable yet intimate connection that was built into their growing relationship.

In reaction to this the “Fated to Love You” team revealed that “The portrayal of Lee Gun’s emotions through his hands was all Jang Hyuk’s idea. For every emotion, Jang Hyuk comes up with a detailed hand gesture, and even the members of the staff on the set have to stop themselves from laughing during filming.”

Netizens that have seem Jang Hyuk’s hand acting responded, “Jang Hyuk’s hand acting is unbelievable,” “Even my heart starts racing when seeing Jang Hyuk’s hand acting,” “Every time Lee Gun reluctantly reaches out for Mi Young my heart starts pumping. A Pink’s Bomi Throws an Impressive First Pitch

A Pink’s Yoon Bomi has got quite the arm! On August 2, the A Pink member stepped to the mound at an LG Twins’ home game to throw the first pitch, after which she became the talk of baseball fans, who were impressed with her throw.

Throwing from the center of the mound, she easily threw the ball right to the catcher, earning herself the nickname of “the second Hong Soo Ah.” Hong Soo Ah is an actress that is also known for being able to throw a nice first pitch, although she throws from a shorter distance.

Ji Chang Wook Confirmed to Join Yoo Ji Tae and Park Min Young on “Healer”

Actor Ji Chang Wook will be joining the star-studded cast of KBS2TV’s upcoming drama “Healer.”

Following the reports of the actor receiving an offer to star in the drama, the casting has now been finalized, and Ji Chang Wook has been confirmed to act alongside Yoo Ji Tae and Park Min Young. He has been cast for the role of Seo Jung Hoo, a mysterious personal assistant that never leaves any traces behind.

A representative of the production firm revealed, “Ji Chang Wook has already started his diet and is taking lessons on martial arts to prepare for his role. Known for his stable acting skills, he will reveal a previously unseen side of him through ‘Healer’ and charm the ladies with his new image.”

“Healer” will premiere in December after the Korean version of Japanese hit series “Nodame Cantabile” ends its run.
