B1A4’s Baro shared a ghost story from the recording studuio.

During recent shoot for KBS2’s Hello, Baro shared a story of having heard a mysterious voice when he was in a recording studio.

The show featured Girl’s Day’s Minah, B1A4’s Baro and Gong Chan. When MC Shin Dong Yeop asked the guests, “Have you ever experienced the ‘recording studio’ ghost that singers tend to experience?” and Baro said, “It was when we were working on our song Lonely.”

He shared, “I heard someone calling out my name, ‘Sun Woo’ from outside. When I stepped out, I didn’t see anyone. Instead, Jin Young hyung, who was working in the room next door, suddenly came out saying, ‘Yes?’ He told me that he also came out because he heard someone call out his name.”

Baro then added, “Out of all of B1A4’s songs, Lonely ranked number one for the longest time and I think it’s because we heard a ghost’s voice in the recording studio.”

Korean superstition has it that if artists hear a ghost during recording, it means the song will be a hit.

The episode is set to air on August 4.

Thank you!!! I was just saying the same thing. Not even Korea, but like most asian cultures in general. I mean in Japan it's a tradition to tell ghost stories during the summer.

Damn. I don't believe too much in ghosts, but I usually end up dreaming of dead pets of mine at least a day or two after they died.

Although, might just be my imagination, when I was younger I always ended up seeing like a black figure in the kitchen or out of the corner of my eye. Back when my computer desk was like right near the kitchen too and I would see it near the fridge.

Then there was the time I was at the computer desk home by myself and my brother's door kept opening and showing his dark vadar/starwars poster off, which creeped me the hell out. There was no windows open or anything either.

....but its probably not for a faint heart.

I went to a crime scene of a rape&murder case during my internship/practical . the girl was bound, gagged and slaughtered. blood were everywhere in the room and she already start to decompose. the smell of putrid blood and feces were overwhelming. my dad, a retired policeman always remind me a few rules when facing such a horrid crime scene or encounter corpse of that condition, you need to deeply inhaled the air and then "swallow" the air (don't exhale it back). this is just adjust or adapt your nasal and oral to the smell as well as to calm you down. Another one is to start looking the corpse from the her/his feet and move up to the head. this is to prepare your state of mind. according to him, the reason people freakout over a dead body is due to the horrific nature of a dead face. people who died because of murder usually in a state of fear and yeah...a decompose corpse is aint pretty.

This is my first crime scene experience. tbh i was so excited. upon reaching the crime scene, i did not expect the such horrific sight. I forgot my dad advice and just do the opposite. the thing that animal had done to her was just inhuman. she was at the same age with me and i cant help myself from feeling sorry towards her. as i look into her dead eyes, i actually said in my head/my heart that i feel so sorry for what had happen to her. I dunno why i did that but at the back of my mind i just feel sorry to her.

However, the smell of the crime scene follow me back. I swear to god, on my way back home i keep smelling the scent of the putrid blood. i thought that, i was probably make a careless mistake stepping on the blood or something. I wash myself and my clothes that i wore to the crime scene(even my shoes)but the smell is still there. my roommate (which was my group mate to that crime scene) was freaking out about it. our room was stench with that smell. we decide to just stay at my other friends room well i cant sleep that night and all of us decide stay up all night.

the nest morning I called my dad and told him everything. he advice me to throw away all the clothes and the shoe i wore to the crime scene. he told me that the dead girl probably have an attachment towards me because i "spoke" to her. i did as told and the scent disappeared afterwords. Two days after that, we have a crime scene of a dead body chopped and stored in a fridge (for like 2years) yikes!

So basically the first story is about my cousin's encounters with a Kapre :)

[Error: Irreparable invalid markup ('<lj-spoiler [...] </lj-spoiler>') in entry. Owner must fix manually. Raw contents below.]

So basically the first story is about my cousin's encounters with a Kapre :)

<lj-spoiler title="Google what kapre is first. im lazy."</lj-spoiler>

My cousin is really pretty. I remember the days when her classmates used to get close to me just so they can get some info about her lol. We used to walk around the neighborhood a lot at night time for exercise. When I didn't accompany her one time, she walked alone. After a while, I heard her running towards the main entrance of our hoouse, in tears. She said that while she was walkng, she saw a "kapre" sitting on a tree. Mind you, it was a rather tiny tree. Not that tall at all. It was staring right at her. After that incident, we made sure not to cross that house with the tree ever again.

A few years passed and she left and went and stayed with her aunt. An old woman came (i forgot the reason why) at their house. Most of the time the old woman was busy staring at my cousin, but she eventually approached her. The old woman told her that she sees over 20++ kapres following her. And then it dawned on my cousin and her aunt that ever since she arrived, the baby cried more than usual. It's said that kapres keep the suitors away. She wouldn't have a happy love life if she didn't do anything about them. The old woman advised her to cut her hair short since it would take time for her to make some sort of talisman to ward off the kapres. She's still wearing the talisman around her hip even to this day.

Also, there were times around 12mn when I suddenly smell something awful. It never occurred to me that it smelled like tobacco. </lj-spoiler>

<lj-spoiler title="This one's about the little elf who was mean to me">

Sooooooooooooo my mom was suspicious about me always falling down with just a split second of not looking at me. Once, she put me on bed, turned around for a bit, heard a thud, and saw me sprawled on the floor lol.
She decided to hire these "people" to try and dispel the so-called elf that's possible the one causing me such harm. I was stripped naked (olawdddd) and they started scrubbing me with this black tar-looking gooey liquid.
Actually, that part was what I never forget and I brought it up with my mom once and asked her if it was just my memory playing tricks with me. Hahahah turned out it was true. Also, when my big sister and I were young, we used to hear a lot of whispers calling each of our name. We'd call out our mom, but she would always tell us it wasn't her. That one fucked us up</lj-spoiler>

<lj-spoiler title="footsteps">Three families live here. While we were out, that same cousin of mine heard foosteps from above (where my family stays), she checked and saw that no one was there. </lj-spoiler>

<lj-spoiler title="just childhood stuff">Our maid used to tell us horror stories about what happens inside the mountainous regions of provinces. Stuff like if you get lost, you get eaten by the people there. She also talked about "creatures" who actually come close in contact with humans, biting them if may. I can't seem to forget her horror stories. They were rather ruthless 'cause I was like 6/7 that time.</lj-spoiler>

<lj-spoiler title="Tiktik - a philippine creature/monster">

My mom never believed in our country's "monsters". But once upon a time, while she was staying at a beach house in Boracay along with her friends, she heard her pregnant friend cussing "p*tangina ka!!!" over and over again. idk how to translate that lol. My mom heard the tiktik sound "TITIK-TITIK" something like that. It was as loud as the cusses of the woman. It only stopped its tiktik sound when the pregnant lady asked my mom to switch beds with her. The lady was sleeping beside a window. And windows are a no-no if you're pregnant. Tiktiks are coming to get you.</lj-spoiler>

<lj-spoiler title="there's this one more story i know about. about a city called viringan">ill talk about it some other time. i wrapped this up too quick so the suspense is not that much so sry</lj-spoiler>

Lol, why am I laughing so hard.

But in all seriousness, I have a theory that people who experience freaky things like this on a regular basis have someone very close to them who died. It may be the brain's way of coping with loss?
I read a comment once that said idols are probably seeing ghosts due to hallucinations from lack of sleep and being drugged up all the time. Seems plausible.

After our paternal grandfather's funeral, my sister couldn't sleep because she felt like someone was watching her all the time in her room. Then after the 7th night of his death, we found a really dark handprint on the wall between my brother's and sister's rooms. Right smack in the middle. My sister then found a similar handprint above her bed, right on the wall her bed was against. Nobody's hand was the right fit.

Turns out, when we were sorting our grandfather's ashes from his belongings (jewelry, etc? Idk I was like 9 and my sister was 18), my sister took his shoe buckle as a sort of remembrance. Our mum thought he was probably unhappy about that (lol) which led my grandfather to haunting her. So my dear mother, a somewhat traditional Christian, burnt the shoe buckle as an offering (Taoist tradition) to our grandfather.

And... my sister could finally sleep in peace.

When I was little I used to wake up to a man standing at the end of my bed all the time. He was always all black but I could see the outline of a trenchcoat/hat. He never spoke or moved or anything, and he was there no matter what room I slept in (I slept in a lot of rooms as a kid because my parents divorced/are military).

i have a creepy story.. i went to a boarding school in my teens and theres always scary stories when you live in a dorm. i did not experience this directly(thank God) but i was there at the time something happened.

It was holiday and i booked a flight ticket a day late then everyone else, so the dorms are kind of empty except for few people who also had to return home late. me and two of my friends were sleeping in a room and it was only us on that floor.

i was already sleeping but my friends were playing around and then suddenly they heard a girl's voice saying 'help me help me' repeatedly with the sound of dragging footsteps outside the room. our door was wide open at the time and my friends woke me up and told me to close the door. (lmao evil friends) but i can see their scared faces so i said no. the scary voice stopped when they woke me up but we were still scared. together, after counting 1 2 3 we ran to the room downstairs where a group of friends were sleeping together.. when we got downstairs and told our story, the friends downstairs said they heard someone singing from upstairs..(wait was it singing or sweeping the floor.. i cant remember lol). we combines the beds and sleep close to each other that night, with the lights on.

and oh im easily scared so i cant sleep with the lights off :|

omg something similar happened to me at my boarding school it was a long weekend so the campus in general was pretty much empty sans a few kids/international students and there was an activity happening somewhere else so no was really in the dorm except for my friends at the 2nd floor and one other girl in the 3rd floor. we're minding our own business then suddenly the girl that was in the 3rd floor barges where we're gather in one room and she asks us if someone was playing the piano. one of my friends own a keyboard so she has one in the room we're in but we none of us has touched it all night. the girl starts panicking then because she said she heard someone playing the piano and no one else was in the 3rd floor not even our dorm parents nor in the 2nd floor except for us. this gets ALL of us scared so we all get up and leave the dorm together as a pack to go to the activity where everyone else went to LOL

this couple who used to be the old housemasters for that dorm told us she had a similar experience. the housemaster's apartment is at the 3rd floor and above that we have an attic. it was a holiday break so only they were in the dorm but they were in bed one night and they heard someone playing the piano too. the wife said it seemed like it was coming from upstairs so the next day they went and checked out the attic but they didn't find a piano or anything...

all of the faculty talk about this girl "jenny" who supposedly haunts that specific dorm but they always seemed to just joke about it to scare us?? i ended up prefecting in that dorm for my senior year and my roommate and i would stay up super late. we'd have to go together to the bathroom when it was late at night because we'd be the only ones up and we were afraid we'd see "jenny" lol

there's also some other stuff that when one of the teachers went to the school when it was all-boys, he used to live in that dorm too. there's a common room in the 3rd floor that used to be a prefect room and one time he could hear laughter and footsteps coming from there while he was in the 2nd floor so he went up there to tell them to be quiet but no one was there....and he was positive it was coming from upstairs right where that room was...

I have this notebook of things I saw/experienced when I was a teenager who randomly experienced a LOT of weird things...reading back through it now, some of it is pretty awful and I'm surprised at my past self just recording it all alone.

I think the last entry was about my final return to my old apartment...I was at the front door, turning everything off to finish the move and suddenly heard my cat's distinctive purr meow from the dark upstairs bedroom.
I almost called out to gather him but then remembered he was at the new apartment.

I remember one time I was upstairs late at night getting a drink from the kitchen when I heard my little brother talking down the hall. I stepped out of the kitchen to see what he was doing and found him standing at the sliding glass door right outside his room, with the door open, talking to what I assumed was himself.

As I approached I heard him say, “NO! You can’t come in here.” Since I couldn’t see well in the dark, I asked who he was talking to. He turned to me with his eyes half open and said he was talking to, “the man outside.”
Freaked me the fuck out. I closed the door and put my little brother to bed then went and hid under my covers for the rest of the night.

So not super creepy but a lot of weird strange things that happened together. So a little back history is the land ( I say land cause over the course of time the family built several houses for various children) I used to live in had been in the same family for about 300 years and just pasted down from father to son, that is until one of the Randall's family daughter died in the house from pneumonia. She was apparently very well loved and know for her love of lilacs and roses and when she died the family sold only that house and kept the rest.

Now when we moved into the house the first thing you notice are the rows of what look like trees but are actually lilacs bushes and the out of control roses all around the porch. My mom hated roses and so her first goal was to get rid of roses and then cut down some of the lilac bushes( these things were big enough I used to climb them to get to the roof of the house). Our neighbors laughed at us and told us it was no use but my mom was adamant that at least the roses had to go. She broke an axe, a shovel, and a chain saw trying to get those rose bushes and eventually my mother torched the roses, and they still came up the next year. Turns out those lilac bushes and roses were planted right after the died and were planted for her.

The last part is after living in the house a few years we adopted my sister. When she was about 3or so she had a very strict bed time routine but one night after we put her to bed my mom was about to go to bed when she heard my sister chatting away. My mom thought she was just talking to herself to keep herself awake. When she went to get her to go to bed my sister instantly stopped talk when she saw my mom and told my mom that the nice lady just left and she was ready to go to bed now.

This is my sister's story. When we were kid she always told me the same story, the door would creak open just alittle and she'd hide under her covers, she could always feel someone in her room. My dad worked night shift and my mom never checked on my sister so it was neither of them as far we could tell. Sometimes she'd come to my room at night and drag me to her bed (I was 5, she was 7).

After a few times of her running scared in to my mother's room, my mother decided for my sis to sleep in her room. Her nightmares ended afterwards but she claimed she still saw the door open sometimes but for the most part she forgot about it. One night my dad came early and put her in her own bed. Both my parents woke up to my sister screaming and ran in to her room. They found her on the floor, her face had been slashed just below her eye. Took her to the hospital to get stitches. My dad claimed a nail on the wall was the culprit but my sister never slept in her room again till she was a teen.

Also when we were older we went on holiday and a similar incident happened. At night my sister's leg was cut and they had to take her to the hospital. Don't know how it happened but it happened while she was asleep.

My sister doesn't really remember anything anymore and neither do my parents. But it's always been abit of a weird mystery for me.

i watched this tyra banks show and there were kids who had paranormal experiences smth. and this kid had this demon-like thing attack her and bit her ankle? cos they decided to finally fight back, since it was just there at the end of her bed, staring intently with so much anger.

We have a superstition that little kids like toddlers who haven't lost their baby teeth and dogs can see ghosts. Babies because they're still pure of heart.

I used to think it was a bunch of BS but years ago when I was babysitting, the little girl who I watched was sleeping in the bedroom and all of a sudden she woke up crying like crazy. I ran to her and she was already out of bed just standing there facing the door. I bent down to comfort her with my back facing the door & she kept crying and crying pointing behind me. Her face was filled with pure terror too. Of course, I looked behind me but didn't see anything. It took forever to calm her down. It spooked me though because we were the only two there. Later, I heard that the majority of the people who lived in the big apartment complex were mainly senior citizens who lived alone and that sometimes the couple had friends come over and these friends would spend the night, the friends felt weird vibes & saw something in the guest bedroom.

My grandma had a small heart attack and I went to see her at the hospital with my mom and sister. She was laying down in the bed, having windows and small space on her left side and we were on the right side of the bed. During our visit, she suddenly looked to her left all surprised, even jumped a little and said how she thought she saw someone standing there. This happened several times and she was even laughing at it, because it felt so real to her.

Me and my mom looked at each other every single time, because we haad just talked about a book I read which said that dying people often see figures or even clear apparitions of their passed loved ones beside them. My mom has also worked as a nurse in a hospital ward were elderly often died and she has seen similar stuff happen several times.

When we left, my mom said that maybe my grandma's mother had come for her daughter. My sceptic sister was horrified.
My grandma died the next night.

These posts make me remember really fucked up things.

When I was a child (prolly around 6-7), my grandfather died. Mum told me that on the same day, a broom in our storage room fell down for no reason. The broom hangs on the wall and for it to fall seems really weird since as far as I can remember, it never happened again. Hell, you can swing it around and it stays on the wall.

The same year I had 3 accidents.

I was in the garden with a friend. We were trying to get some gardening equipment out of the shed, most likely rake. The equipment was leaning on the wall on which a few old, rusty axes hang. The next thing I knew, something fell down, hit me in the head and hurt like a bitch. I started crying and my dad run over. Turns out, one of the axes actually fell on my head but in such a way that, while there was a waterfall of blood, I didn't even need stitches.

Some time later, I went to a public pool with my family. They had these huge animal statues covered in titles. On one of them there was a girl. I really wanted to climb to the top too. The tiles were slippery and had pretty sharp edges. I couldn't really climb and hit my chin while sliding down. I had a huge gash just under my chin and in the end needed 7 stitches. I was told I was lucky it wasn't worse.

During the same year one more thing happened at my uncle's house (were my grandfather lived). There was a cupboard in the kitchen with glasses in the upper compartment. I wanted to take one of the glasses but was too small so instead I tried climbing up the first part of the cupboard. Ofc I feel down, together with the upper part of the cupboard which was wide open. All of the glasses shuttered but, lo and behold, only around me. I had literally only 2 tiny shard in my knee.

Basically all of these accidents had potential to be lethal. My mum always says it's my grandfather who protected me. I used to have some really fucked up sleep paralysis-like thing before too and after that year I don't think it happened again. The whole thing was really weird and I'm still not sure what to think about it.
