It's always fun when NJTTW members come on the show. Seeing Jennie being only girl here made me realize how YG just has a few women on the roster. Literally a handful at a time since the early 2000s. Big Mama, Lexy and Gummy way back when. Then it was Gummy and 2NE1 for a long time. Then 2NE1, Lee Hi and AkMu's Suhyun. Lee Hi, Suhyun, and Blackpink for a bit. And now just Suhyun and Blackpink. And you can add Somi and Anda if you count the other labels. So much more on the actors side though! They should have added some actress too.

Flashback Friday
2021-09-17 03:58 pmwaves-of-light.livejournal.comWassup party people. Today I went to Ikea and bought 6 reusable bags and 100 tealights. Did I need 6 reusable bags and 100 tealights? No, I needed storage boxes and frozen meatballs. I also forgot to get some frozen yogurt which I had a free coupon for! I lose my mind in there every damn time, I swear. Right. Every week I check the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more songs from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back to the 3rd week in September, 2014.
#3 Sistar “I Swear”
This was the lead single from the group’s 4th mini and special summer album, “Sweet & Sour”. It was also the follow up to “Touch My Body”, released a month prior. It was a hit just like its predecessor, charting at #1 too. The song would take a win at most of the music shows, getting a trophy every day for 5 days straight. I remember the MV most from this era, and I don’t remember the live stages at all. Here’s a stage from Show Champion. Summer Sistar just feels so good.

Along with WINNER’s seventh anniversary, the members met up at the YG Entertainment headquarters on August 17 and agreed to renew their contracts.
WINNER commented via the company, “We really want to say that we respect INNER CIRCLE (fandom name), who has always remained by our sides. We exist thanks to all of you. We want to continue on this endless journey of music while sharing more memories with you.”
WINNER debuted in 2014 with their first album “2014 S/S” and has since released several hit tracks. The team is currently taking a break from group activities as Kim Jin Woo and Lee Seung Hoon are serving in the military.

The criteria for the final winners are as follows:
- Artist of the Year and Artist Category Awards – 30% official votes, 30% judge panel, 20% digital song sales, 20% physical album sales
- Song of the Year and Song Genre Category Awards – 20% official votes, 40% judge panel, 30% digital song sales, 10% physical album sales
- Album of the Year – 40% judge panel, 60% physical album sales
- Worldwide Icon of the Year, Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10 – 60% official votes, 20% social media votes, 20% global music video views
- Best Music Video – 70% judge panel, 30% global music video views
In order to be eligible, the music must have been released between October 24, 2019 and October 28, 2020.
Voting will take place online here through December 5 at 11:59 p.m. KST.
