Ji Chang Wook Confirmed to Join Yoo Ji Tae and Park Min Young on “Healer”

Actor Ji Chang Wook will be joining the star-studded cast of KBS2TV’s upcoming drama “Healer.”

Following the reports of the actor receiving an offer to star in the drama, the casting has now been finalized, and Ji Chang Wook has been confirmed to act alongside Yoo Ji Tae and Park Min Young. He has been cast for the role of Seo Jung Hoo, a mysterious personal assistant that never leaves any traces behind.

A representative of the production firm revealed, “Ji Chang Wook has already started his diet and is taking lessons on martial arts to prepare for his role. Known for his stable acting skills, he will reveal a previously unseen side of him through ‘Healer’ and charm the ladies with his new image.”

“Healer” will premiere in December after the Korean version of Japanese hit series “Nodame Cantabile” ends its run.

omw at the character description *~* it'll be good to see him back in modern day because i just cannot get on board with historical dramas and it being described as "romantic comedy and thriller" sounds right up my alley!! yes please!!

1) mte, why. i guess the character is interesting then if he took it...

1) I can forgive if he took 2nd lead roles like the one from Empress Ki but I cant forgive if he took it and just become the prop to the main actors (like in 5 fingers) and this drama likely to be like 5F. He will like Park Minyoung's character and she will fall head over hills with Yoo Jitae and are too blind to see him and I will feel stupid for watching that kind of story. :/

2) Prop to you for even watching that drama. How was it? Is it good? The last one that I watched her was in City Hunter and I can't stand her despite I really love the drama. I guess her, Yoon Eun Hye & Goo Hee Sun always make me feel annoyed when I watch them in anything. Hoping someday it will change like how Shu-Qi always annoyed me with her characters but now I actually enjoy watching her.

1) i hated 5f, that trainwreck... you just described how 99% of kdramas work, haha. i will be surprised tho if his character would break the mould. if it was tvn drama then yeah maybe but kbs2? i think i will watch just the first few episodes and if it goes the usual way, i will drop it.

2) i watched only bits, it wasn't really my style. too much legal stuff, i like police/detective dramas more :) it wasn't that bad though, just i don't dig the subject.
she had nothing to do literally, the drama could do without her. it was esp noticeable in the last episode where she had like 5mins of screentime. but i noticed a subtle change in the way she was emoting... like she learned watching kim myung min's acting? idk. she's still average at best.
