An idol member and leader of a group has been caught visiting a room salon.

In the exclusive report by News1, a woman 'A' who works at an adult entertainment establishment in Gangnam has been confirmed to have caught the Coronavirus after meeting up with an idol group member. 'A' reportedly began exhibiting Corona symptoms on March 29th and was confirmed positive on April 2nd. When asked, she stated that she had met up with Yoon Hak, leader of idol group Supernova.

Yoon Hak began exhibiting symptoms 3 days after returning from Japan and was confirmed with the Coronavirus on April 1st. After he was confirmed positive, his whereabouts were exposed and through his cell phone activity it was revealed that he had met up with a prostitute at a room salon.

His agency denied the reports stating that "it's true that he met with her for a moment but he never entered the room salon. He knows her so he met with her for just a moment after work. He never received any services from her."

Happy Friday! Hope you guys are had a good day. Mine sucked lol, but I bought half a dozen donuts and a whole pie so hopefully things will look up. Anywhos, every week I check out the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. Today let’s see who was on top for the 2nd week in October, 2009.

#3 MC Mong featuring Ivy “I Am”
This was one of the songs from his last full album before the hiatus. I don’t remember this single at all, but the video looks familiar. Although I could be confusing it with another one of his music videos. Ivy looks and sounds great.

South Korea’s state-run tourism office said Wednesday it will organize a series of K-pop concerts in the coming weeks in a bid to help attract foreign visitors. The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) aims to attain the goal of drawing 16.5 million foreign tourists this year alone, capitalizing on various cultural products related to the Korean Wave, or “hallyu.” The number of foreigners traveling to South Korea stood at 12.7 million as of end-September, according to the KTO.

“We plan to make all-out efforts through the end of this year to attract foreign tourists,” Kwon Byung-jeon, a KTO official, said. “We will also continue efforts next year for the growth of the tourism industry for foreigners in quality by developing new content.”

In the first of the K-pop concert series, boy band SS301 will hold a fan meeting at the Phoenix Park ski resort in PyeongChang, Gangwon Province, this weekend. More than 300 foreign visitors are expected to attend the event. Another boy group Supernova, also known as Choshinsung, is scheduled to meet fans in Seoul from Dec. 3-5, followed by a fan meeting here by B1A4 from Dec. 10-12.

The KTO plans to host the events in cooperation with private tour agencies. We will hold such events once or twice a month next year,” Kwon added.

Meanwhile, the KTO plans to support a large K-pop concert in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, on Nov. 18. The event is meant to help the ancient capital city, hit by an earthquake in September, attract tourists. Among those on stage will be Bangtan Boys, TWICE and SHINee. The KTO is using its overseas branches to publicize the concert.

That's actually pretty cool that they're doing the shows in different cities. Spread that money all around.

#3 MC Mong “Horror Show”
OMG remember when Tiffany & Yuri hosted Music Core? SNSD was all up in Music Core for so many years! How appropriate this song is with Halloween right around the corner. I kinda remember the MV, but it’s gone now, so here’s one of the few live performances.

Maroo Entertainment, the agency that manages six-member idol Supernova (Choshinsung) releases an official statement about member Yoon Sungmo‘s drunk driving arrest.

Maroo Entertainment writes: “Yoon Sungmo had dinner with light drinks with an acquaintance and around 1:20 a.m. today [Monday, March 7 KST], he was on his way home, driving his own car. Because there were no cars on the road at that time of the night, he ignored the traffic light and was about to enter an alley when he saw a police checkpoint and was found to be drunk driving. After being tested, he was found to have a blood alcohol content of 0.092 percent and he has currently been sent home by the police.”

Maroo Entertainment also writes that it is still in the process of finding out more details and promises to reach out when the police investigation is complete.

Member Yoon Sungmo is reflecting on his mistakes, says Maroo Entertainment, and plans on fully complying with any further investigations. Maroo Entertainment also takes the blame for not being able to take care of its artist properly. It concludes with an apology to fans for causing them concern and promises to work harder so something like this doesn’t happen again.

Early, it reported by MBN that a member of a male idol group that is popular in Japan has been arrested by the police after being involved in a drunk driving accident. According to the report, a 30-year-old (Korean reckoning) Mr. Yoon drove over the center line in a road in Samjeon-dong and made an illegal U-turn. He was ordered to stop, but he ignored it and tried to drive away. He then hit a telephone pole and continued trying to drive away, but after making a sudden left turn and stopping in a street in Seokchon-dong, the police car chasing him crashed into him. Two policemen were injured in the crash.

What the official statement from Maroo says about the incident differs in certain details from MBN’s report. It may be that Maroo Entertainment has yet to learn the full details or there was a mistake in the initial report. Stay tuned for updates.

Korean boy band Winner, rookie group Day6, and girl group AOA will fill the last three slots in the lineup of “KCON 2016 Japan x M Countdown,” local media reported Tuesday.

The two-day festival will take place on April 9 and 10 in Makuhari Messe, the international convention center in Chiba, a suburb of Tokyo.

Yoon Hak, member of Japanese boy group Choshinsei (edit: he's actually a member of Korean boyband Supernova, not Japanese)and Han Seung-yeon, a former member of now-defunct girl group Kara, will host the event.

Prior to the announcement Tuesday, a host of stars had confirmed they would be performing at the festival in late February. Boy bands such as 2PM, Boyfriend, Monsta X and girl group Twice will perform In the first day, while the second day performance will feature Sunggyu, a member of boy band Infinite, Block B and girl group Lovelyz.

The last year‘s “KCON” in Saitama, Japan was attended by some 15,000 people.

“KCON,” the Korean Wave convention, has played a role of offering global fans chance to get access to Korean stars, since it took off in 2012 in Irvine, California. This year, the festival is aimed at presenting not only K-pop stars’ performances, but also promoting Korean TV content, cosmetics and food products.

Before the Japanese event, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is set to host “KCON” on March 25. K-Pop stars including BTS, Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, Kyuhyun of Super Junior, Double S 301, Monsta X and SPICA will perform at the event, which is already sold out.

The festival is organized by Powerhouse Live, Mnet Media, CJ E&M and Koreaboo, and is endorsed by the government-affiliated Korea Creative Content Agency

rsz_kpop-wanted-comebacks-

While most K-Pop artists tend to release new music every year, sometimes it can take much longer due to overseas promotions, acting, long vacations, or even military enlistment.

Fans can get restless after a few months, so reaching multiple years can be even more worrying.

Let’s take a look a which singers have had the longest break from music promotions.

For this list, Japanese releases, OST songs, and other special collaborations were not considered comebacks.

Outside of the top 8:

Seo In Guk - Digital single “Bomtanba” (May 14, 2014 ~ 21 months)
Akdong Musician - Album “Play” (April 7, 2014 ~ 22 months)
M (Lee Minwoo) – Mini album “M+ TEN” ( February 6, 2014 ~ 24 months)
2NE1 – Second Album “Crush” (Feb 27, 2014 ~ 24 months)
Rain – Seventh Album “Rain Effect” (January 2, 2014 ~ 25 months)

8. Son Dam Bi ~ 26 months

Last Korean Comeback: Digital Single “Red Candle” (Dec 23, 2013)

As Son Dam Bi didn’t have live promotions for “Red Candle,” her previous comeback before that was November 12, 2012 (39 months). She gained huge popularity in the past for her hit dance songs “Crazy” and “Saturday Night.” Currently, she is active as an actress.

7. Trouble Maker ~ 28 months

Last Korean Comeback: Second Mini Album “Chemistry” (October 28, 2013)

Although they have only released two mini albums, Trouble Maker is considered to be one of the most high profile sub-units. Their songs are pretty much expected to be huge hits.

6. A-JAX ~ 28 months

Last Korean Comeback: Third Single “Snake” (October 28, 2013)

It has been a while since we’ve seen DSP Media’s boy group A-JAX in action. They made their debut in 2012, a highly competitive year for rookie boy groups. Jaehyung started his military service last year, while Sungmin recently left the group.

5. After School ~ 32 months

Last Korean Comeback: Sixth mini album “First Love” (June 13, 2013)

After School is usually one of the first groups to be mentioned on topics of “most wanted comebacks.” Some fans have even started a petition for asking their comeback. Following their 2013 album, sub-unit Orange Caramel released “Catallena” and “My Copycat in 2014, while other members have had solo activities.

Featuring unique concepts such as tap dancing, drumming, and pole dancing, there are always high expectations for their comeback.

4. Lee Hyori ~ 33 months

Last Korean Comeback: Fifth studio album “Monochrome” (May 21, 2013)

It seems that Lee Hyori likes to take long breaks in between albums. Before her “Monochrome” album in 2013, she previously released her “H-Logic” album in 2010.

3. Lee Hi ~ 35 months

Last Korean Comeback: First studio album “First love” (March 27, 2013)

Since the release of her first album, Lee Hi has also worked collaboration tracks such as “All I Want For Christmas Is You” with Park Bom and “I’m Different” with Akdong Musician‘s Suhyun. Fans just need to wait a little bit longer for her solo comeback, as she is currently working on her new album with HIGHGRND, Tablo‘s sub label under YG Entertainment. It reportedly is almost ready for release.

2. Supernova (Choshinsung) ~ 42 months

Last Korean Comeback: Single “Shes Gone” (August 9, 2012)

Supernova continues to focus their promotions in Japan. Their album “7IRO” even managed to top Oricon’s Daily Chart last year.

1. Se7en ~ 48 months

Last Korean Comeback: “Se7en Mini Album Vol. 2″ (February 1, 2012)

Last having promoted “When I Can’t Sing” and “Somebody Else” in 2012, Se7en was busy with his military service from 2013 all the way to the end of 2014. Following the expiration of his contract with YG Entertainment in early 2015, he set up his own agency and plans for a March 2016 comeback.
