An idol member and leader of a group has been caught visiting a room salon.

In the exclusive report by News1, a woman 'A' who works at an adult entertainment establishment in Gangnam has been confirmed to have caught the Coronavirus after meeting up with an idol group member. 'A' reportedly began exhibiting Corona symptoms on March 29th and was confirmed positive on April 2nd. When asked, she stated that she had met up with Yoon Hak, leader of idol group Supernova.

Yoon Hak began exhibiting symptoms 3 days after returning from Japan and was confirmed with the Coronavirus on April 1st. After he was confirmed positive, his whereabouts were exposed and through his cell phone activity it was revealed that he had met up with a prostitute at a room salon.

His agency denied the reports stating that "it's true that he met with her for a moment but he never entered the room salon. He knows her so he met with her for just a moment after work. He never received any services from her."

If you're wondering who Supernova is, they debuted in 2007, but have promoted pretty much exclusively in Japan for the past 8 or 10 years.

Decent for Kpop boy groups, more sales than UKISS but less than SHINee to use similarly aged groups. But I've also heard that groups make more money touring in Japan than releasing singles/albums, and there aren't particularly good records of that. (Haven't checked on these guys in like 7 years.)

Haha I loved how you answered the question most of us were thinking lol

I saw they had a tag so I assumed they were a 1st gen group

What counts as 1st gen these days? When I got into Kpop in 2009, 1st gen ended with BoA (2001), 2nd gen ended with WonSoKa (2007), and 3rd gen was in its heyday. But I only dabble in Kpop now and it seems the definitions have changed.

Oh that’s interesting! Ive see 2nd gen implied to be late 2000s, like SNSD/Kara/2NE1 etc. I even met some younger kpop fans and when I mentioned when I got into kpop, they called me a 2nd gen fan lol. Plus in 2016/17 when a bunch of girl groups started disbanding, people were saying the 2nd gen was coming to an end. I’ve seen 3rd gen referenced for Twice, Blackpink, Red Velvet, and that 4th gen is either starting now or on its way. But now I’m quite confused too lol

I just assumed 1st gen since 1) I knew quite a bit groups from the late 2000s/early 2010s and I never heard of Supernova (not that I know all groups haha) and 2) they have a tag. A lot of nugu groups don’t have tags, so that gave away that they were relevant in the past. Which is fairly true, the last times they were brought up fairly often in posts it was in 2016 and even then they were mostly in nostalgia posts lol

I read that he's basically the first kpop celebrity who tested positive. I hope he recovers soon and those too who he got in contact with.

What's sad here is that I know SK is pretty strict with doing self-quarantine specially for those who came from other countries. I'm not sure if Yoon Hak strickly followed it or if he went out soon after he came back.

Talk about faces from the milk carton. I haven't heard the name "Supernova" in years.

It's so irresponsible of him to go there. I read they he claims he wasn't seeing her as a paying customer but that they're ~friends, which is probably a lie. It sucks because she probably still has to work under these conditions. I doubt social distancing is stopping them from having customers.
