SISTAR’s Soyou reminisced about her trainee days.

During the January 7 broadcast of Starship trainees’ survival program Mnet’s No Mercy, SISTAR’s Soyou told the Starship trainee Gi Hyun (Kihyun) to work hard since he is preparing for his debut in a good environment.

Soyou said, “You guys are working in a really good environment. Before SISTAR was formed I had to sleep at home since we didn’t have a dorm. So on the days I missed the public transportation home, I spread the yoga mats on the floor of the practice studio and slept there with Bora unnie and Hyolyn unnie.”

Soyou then said, “Getting picked up? We didn’t have anything like that. We had to walk to work even after we debuted. You’re working in a really good environment right now. But if your skills still don’t improve, then you should quit.”

It looks like the anticipated second season of MBC Every1′s “Hyungdon & Daejun’s Hitmaker” will be even more eventful than the first one.

On January 9, MBC Every1 gave a taste of what’s to come by sharing stills ofG.NA shedding tears during the filming for the first episode. The four female idols – G.NA, 4Minute‘s Sohyun, KARA‘s Youngji, and After School‘s Lizzy – appearing on the show recently had their first gathering. Luckily for them, they arrived at the location before the two MCs, and used the opportunity to share their concerns about getting along with the sharp-tongued Jung Hyung Donand Defconn.

The members firmly decided that they will not become like Big Byung, who were completely ordered around by the MCs and failed to express their personal opinions during the first season. In order to show that they are a force to be reckoned with, the girls decided to play a hidden camera prank on the MCs.

Mnet’s “4 Things Show” to Return, SHINee’s Jonghyun as First Guest

It has been announced that Mnet’s interview program “4 Things Show” will be returning to broadcast for a brand new season. The premiere of the second season is expected to air on January 13, with SHINee’s Jonghyun as the very first guest.

“4 Things Show” is a documentary-style program that spotlights four different topics focusing on the special star of the show. The show interviews the stars themselves, as well as the close friends and acquaintances around them in order to explore and reveal their true colors. Unlike the image they display through other broadcasts, “4 Things Show” attempts to capture the everyday life of stars that is not usually shown to the public.

The first season featured artists including Block B’s Zico, INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Jay Park, SHINee’s Taemin, and more.

It is said that Jonghyun will be sharing his honest thoughts and feelings about promoting through his solo debut. The producers of the show also revealed that the SHINee member will be making a special confession through the upcoming broadcast of “4 Things Show,” which will air on January 13 at 6 p.m. (KST) on Mnet.

CL Prepares for Spring Debut in America, Talked about in Various American Media Outlets

2NE1‘s leader CL is preparing for a spring debut in the United States.

Her impending American debut has caught the attention of various media outlets in the United States, as multiple American presses have talked about her.

American music channel VH1 included CL in their “15 Female Rappers To Watch In 2015” list which was released on January 7, adding, “her breakout is a major play at the Western rap market.”

FuseTV included her in their January 8 list of “10 Breakout Artists for 2015,” calling CL a star praised by “Diplo, M.I.A, and Snoop Dogg.”

Chinese media is abuzz about Wang Sicong‘s 27th birthday party after photos were posted to Weibo of K-Pop girl group, T-ARA performing at the heir’s lavish celebratory bash.

The 27-year old booked a hotel in Sanya, Hainan for his party complete with a professional full-size performance stage, professional cameramen, and a gorgeous patio full of standing tables decorated with sophisticated centerpieces. Party favors were stacked on the tables including Macbook Pros, iPads, and iPhones. No expense was spared for the Wang’s birthday party, held on January 3rd.
