It looks like the anticipated second season of MBC Every1′s “Hyungdon & Daejun’s Hitmaker” will be even more eventful than the first one.

On January 9, MBC Every1 gave a taste of what’s to come by sharing stills ofG.NA shedding tears during the filming for the first episode. The four female idols – G.NA, 4Minute‘s Sohyun, KARA‘s Youngji, and After School‘s Lizzy – appearing on the show recently had their first gathering. Luckily for them, they arrived at the location before the two MCs, and used the opportunity to share their concerns about getting along with the sharp-tongued Jung Hyung Donand Defconn.

The members firmly decided that they will not become like Big Byung, who were completely ordered around by the MCs and failed to express their personal opinions during the first season. In order to show that they are a force to be reckoned with, the girls decided to play a hidden camera prank on the MCs.

When Jung Hyung Don and Defconn finally joined the meeting, the girl group members intentionally made themselves appear as uncooperative and mentally unstable, confusing the MCs.

It did not take long for the MCs to catch up, however, and the MCs soon fired back at the idols with harsh criticism and unpleasant comments. Although the MCs did not intend to hurt their feelings, the girl group members had not expected to be met with such behavior, and G.NA even broke down in tears due to the MCs’ unfriendly attitude toward them.

Make sure to watch the season premiere of “Hyungdon & Daejun’s Hitmaker” on January 9 at 6 p.m. to find out what exactly happened.

Seriously. Their idea of a prank is one where someone cries. That's not a prank and that's not funny.

I really really am starting to dislike Hyungdon and Defconn. They take their status as host too far way too many times, and just end up making things uncomfortable.

THIS. Only I'm not starting to, I already do.

Just because y'all have a tv show that hasn't been canceled yet and one of you used to be "married" to Taeyeon/was in PSY's music video doesn't mean you get to harass your guests for the sake of "comedy" and take things way too damn far. Sit your asses down.

I'm already there. There's a line between humorous ribbing and bullying, and they have jumped right over it. Even if I had thought about seeing how the female version turns out, this would have been the last straw.

I've never found them the greatest comedians and I'll also never get the hype over Weekly Idol and this just added to my abstinence towards them. The only reason I watch their shows is when there are idols featured in it who I like. I was looking forward to the girl version of Hitmaker but now I'm not that sure anymore.

Yeah so I'm done with this show...the way they treat N rubbed me the wrong way, then that awful Jackson prank now this...

Even though I hadn't planned on watching the second season after the shit they're pulling with Hakyeon and Jackson, I hoped they might treat the girls better. Looks like that was naive

what did they do to Hankyeon and Jackson? I've tried to watch the second season for N and Jackson but the two "managers" ....

Apparently, they've been insulting Hakyeon about his looks and they pulled a mean prank on Jackson where they tricked him into thinking he was going to go with them for a holiday abroad, had him pack a bag and drive out to the airport at 4am and everything

TF? That's just cruel and how can they make fun of anyone's looks and even think that would be funny? Those two host act like bullies constantly. This is why I hate watching them even when my groups are on.

i really hope they get chewed out by everyone after it airs. i actually liked them before and thought they were funny but its just gotten meaner and meaner and they just keep on pushing those buttons thinking theyre funny when its just fucking rude now.

i remember reading some comments online defending this bullshit saying something along the lines of 'well, that's not how they are. the comedy may seem like they're being especially harsh, but they're only doing it for the show.' uhh, no. abuse is abuse no matter what you call it. nobody deserves to be belittled for a laugh. this is why the original hitmaker is so damn hard for me to watch. the jokes make me so fucking uncomfortable, so i can only imagine what it's like to be on the receiving end of that.

Hmm, have to watch this first, but my first thought, if you dish it out, you'd better be able to take it.

I haven't watched the new episodes of Hitmaker season 2, (I watched part of the first and found it boring, so gave it a rest), but I thought the mcs and the boys have a good chemistry together and know how to play off each other,

Some of the comments here are coming off hurt about one of their favorite idols being teased/bullied by the two mcs either on Hitmaker or Weekly Idol, but isn't that all scripted as heck? I think Hyungdon mentioned at one time how something was the theme of that particular show.

Look at the language used in the article, and you can see why people are upset, "uncooperative and mentally unstable" versus "harsh criticism and unpleasant comments".

Half the time, I think Defconn is following Hyungdon's lead because he's not like that in 1N2D. Hyungdon takes it too far, like in Weekly Idol Awards, he dropped the Meat Chef's certificate /as/ he was about to give it. That was just mean. You can see Jackson side-eyeing him for that. Jackson was also getting annoyed with them throughout the show, going by his expressions.

idk why they think cracking jokes and rude is funny because it isn't. they're so mean to hakyeon and that prank they pulled on jackson was downright rude. they think these comments are funny when they're not, sometimes they're pretty malicious. i hope someone finally stands up and tells them off.
