Of the many kdramas that recently started, "Memorist" and "Hi Bye Mama" are the only two I'm watching. And I am really enjoying this show a lot.

"My Strange Hero" is an odd but warm romance about a character named Kang Bok-soo, played by Yoo Seung Ho, whose name “Bok-soo” means “revenge” in Korean. In his high school years, he is wrongfully accused of committing assault and is expelled. Years later, he comes back to school to take his revenge on all the people who wronged him, including Jo Bo Ah’s character. Jo Bo Ah plays Sohn Soo-jung, Kang Bok-soo’s first love, who ends up at their old high school in a temporary teaching position in their adult years.

Kwak Dong Yeon plays Oh Se-ho who is described as having a smiling face and a gentle personality. However, the character develops an inferiority complex and a love-hate relationship with Kang Bok-soo. In their youth, Se-ho struggled as a student, but Bok-soo always seemed to be happy and without problems. In his adult years, Se-ho joins the story as a member of the school board. Kim Dong Young will play Kang Bok Soo’s best friend of nine years and the CEO of “Your Request,” and Park Ah In will be Kang Bok Soo’s friend Yang Min Ji.

Upcoming SBS romantic comedy “Revenge Is Back” tells the story of Kang Bok Soo, a student who is expelled from school after being falsely accused of being a bully. He returns to school as an adult to seek revenge, but he is unexpectedly swept up in a series of new incidents.

Yoo Seung Ho plays the main character Bok Soo (homophone of revenge) who fell in love with the perfect model student and class president, played by Jo Bo Ah, only to have his heart ripped out and crushed. Yoo Seung Ho is unjustly accused of assault during school and is expelled. He comes to believe that Jo Bo Ah was the one who betrayed him by spreading false rumors. Thus, it becomes his goal in life to get revenge on his first love and his friend who ruined his life.

As for Jo Bo Ah’s character, she’s supposed to be a lovely, nice, smart student who never lost her first-place ranking all throughout school. But after leaving high school, through a series of misfortunes, she fails the teaching certificate examination and is hired only as a temporary teacher at her old school. There, the two characters meet, and a new dynamic forms between the former first loves.

The team at the head of “Revenge Is Back” is a rookie writer named Kim Yoon-young and Wok of Love director Ham Joon-ho. “Revenge Is Back” will air early December, following the end of the Lee Je Hoon/Chae Soo Bin drama “Where Stars Land”.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho has joined Instagram!

It hasn’t even been a day since the actor opened up his account, but he already has over 30,000 followers.

Now, fans will be able to see more of his activities, and he will be able to connect with them on a more personal level as he updates them about his life.

So far, Yoo Seung Ho has two posts up, and one of them notifies his fans about the beginning of his official Instagram account. There is a photo of the actor as well as a message that reads, “This account will be managed by both Yoo Seung Ho and San Entertainment. We hope you will give it a lot of interest and love.”

Yoo Seung Ho recently sat down for an interview, where he discussed “I Am Not a Robot” and its low viewership ratings.

During the interview, Yoo Seung Ho talked about how he felt after he first saw the viewership ratings. He shared, “To be honest, after I saw the ratings for our first episode, I couldn’t look at the director in the eyes at the filming set the next day. You can’t blame the actor completely, but in a way, the actor is at fault as well. I couldn’t look at Chae Soo Bin‘s face either.”

“However, I thought that I had to ease that atmosphere somehow. So I playfully said, ‘What are we going to do about the viewership ratings?’ first, and tried to ease the atmosphere by laughing. Thankfully, I heard the drama was popular overseas during the middle of airing, and it became a big source of strength. We joked amongst ourselves, ‘A three percent viewership rating really means viewers with the top three percent taste.'”

The 2017 MBC Drama Awards was held on December 30 to celebrate the great accomplishments that were made in MBC dramas this year. There were many changes to the awards ceremony this year. The grand prize was chosen not by ARS votes, but by votes from professionals in the industry.

On December 31, SBS closed out their year with the 2017 SBS Drama Awards ceremony, hosted by Shin Dong Yeop and Lee Bo Young. Unlike the MBC and KBS Drama Awards, the latter which aired at the same time as the 2017 SBS Drama Awards, SBS was not affected by strike issues this year.

On December 31, KBS celebrated the best of the year’s dramas and talent at the 2017 KBS Drama Awards.
