D-Unit celebrated their first anniversary on August 1, and today they released a remix of "Before the weekend comes" in honor of this occasion. The original version of this song appears on their superb first album "Welcome to Business".

Their latest album, Affirmative Ch.1, happens to be one of the best albums of the year. It was produced by ZICO of Block B.

Netizens reacted to this special single positively, with comments such as "I needed a club banger and D-Unit delivered!"

The two idols flaunted their toned figures and sexy charm in their stylish outfits. Bora emphasized her healthy tan glow in casual denim look while Dasom showed off her long and slim arms and legs in a more revealing outfit.

Seungri was a cheerful guy. He gave honest answers immediately and straightforwardly to whatever he was asked. He has always been the most friendly and honest of Big Bang’s members, and this showed in his music.
While G-Dragon and Taeyang have focused more on style in their solo albums, Seungri emphasized the power of the melody. The video to “Let’s Talk About Love,” which YG Entertainment voluntarily put up for an R rating, was shocking to watch but then again, it was Big Bang and furthermore, Seungri, so it seemed okay. After all, he’s also turning 23 years old now.
When asked whether the song’s title was supposed to contain the word ‘sex’ instead of ‘love,’ he gave a calm and honest answer instead of blushing. He was no longer the youngest member of Big Bang. There was even a maturity to what he thinks of his group. TenAsia met with Seungri at a cafe in Seoul on Monday.

B.A.P Confirms Japan Debut + Arena Tour

To celebrate their upcoming Japanese debut, B.A.P will be kicking off an arena tour in Japan this coming November.


Like mentioned previously, the boys are preparing to step foot into the Japanese market this fall, and have been working on securing a tour as well. The tour is now confirmed with venues and dates also being announced.


According to TS Entertainment, B.A.P will be seeing BABYs in Kobe on November 19-20, Nagoya on November 27-28, and Tokyo on December 4-5, performing a total of 6 concerts in 3 cities across Japan.


The boys will be releasing their Japanese debut single 'Warrior' this October, so look forward to that!

BTS will be appearing in its first exclusive variety show.

On August 28, BTS′ agency Big Hit Entertainment announced that "BTS will be appearing in SBS MTV′s Rookie King Channel BTS. They′ll be showcasing their off-the-wall charms as hip hop boys."

The show will have the BTS members star in various different types of TV programs under an imaginary channel named ′Channel BTS′.

The members will get to parody such shows as KBS2′s VJs on the Scene and O′live′s Master Chef Korea. They′ll take up roles as news anchors, basketball players and even imaginary commercial models.

The show will start airing on September 3.

Ever since the merger between Woollim Entertainment and SM C&C, music fans have been eager to learn whether any more mergers may be coming about, and the simple answer is probably yes.

This shouldn't be a surprise as with the previous merger, SM Entertainment, the biggest shareholder of subsidiary SM C&C, clearly revealed their hopes of becoming a leading global music group like that of Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group.

In order to reach such a level, SM will need to bring in several agencies under them to become a major label or a group like the aforementioned three.

All Big Bang Members to Join G-Dragon at “One of a Kind’ Finale Concert

A local news agency is reporting that Seungri, Taeyang, T.O.P, and Daesung will be joining teammate G-Dragon on stage during his “One of a Kind The Final” concert to show their support.

G-Dragon will be holding the final leg of his “One of a Kind” concert tour in Seoul for two days, August 31 and September 1, at the Olympic Park Gymnastic Stadium. A source from the industry said, “Big Bang is currently debating which day, August 31 or September 1, to go on stage. But it is certain that there will be a Big Bang stage during G-Dragon’s concert.”

G-Dragon is also planning to perform for his new solo album “Coup d’état” at this concert. The album comes out September 2.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Kara’s Park Gyuri, and 2NE1’s Minzy will be bringing their mothers to work.



On August 29, the mothers of Kyuhyun, Park Gyuri, and Minzy will participate in the recording of KBS’ Mamma Mia in a hallyu idol special. The mothers will talk about how it is to have children who are traveling from country to country, being loved by a countless number of fans.

Kyuhyun, who is one of the MCs on the show, will finally be fulfilling his promise to bring his mother onto the show after losing a bet with MC Lee Young Ja.

This will be the first time for all three mothers to come on the show. It’s said that Minzy’s mother has been waiting to get called onto the show.

The special will air sometime in September.

On August 29, Block B have finally come to an agreement with their agency after their conflict in January where the group filed an injunction for the termination of their exclusive contract.

After the dismissal of their injunction application in June, Block B had maintained constant discussion and negotiations with Stardom. They have have settled all conflicts and found a way to resume their activities.

Taeyeon Throws Opening Pitch with Seohyun Batting at LG Twins and Nexen Heroes Baseball Game

Taeyeon and Seohyun attended the August 27th baseball game between the LG Twins and Nexen Heroes to kick things off with a ceremonial first pitch and a few encouraging words.

Wearing both the jersey of the home team LG Twins and “Despicable Me 2″ minion toys, Taeyeon went out to throw the first pitch, while Seohyun, dressed similarly, prepared to hit the baseball at home plate.

Taeyeon’s throw flew over home plate and the catcher, hitting one of the minions in the back. Seohyun still played along and swung at the pitch as Taeyeon continued laughing near the pitcher’s mound.

He will be releasing his 10th album on September 2. JYP Entertainment stated, “As he is halfway through life, Park Jin Young will be expressing his past and his future through his music,” and “The title of his 10th album is ‘Halftime‘ and he will pre-release ‘Love Is Best‘ (working title). On September 9, he will release his title song, ‘I Played Enough‘ (working title) with the rest of his album.”
