Earlier this month, local news outlet “Dispatch” turned the Korean entertainment industry upside down by releasing an audio file of JYJ members physically and verbally abusing fans. Earlier today, “Dispatch” released another audio file (AUDIO AT THE SOURCE) involving the members of JYJ assaulting their “sasaeng” fans.
On March 20, C-Jes Entertainment officially announced its plans to sue “Dispatch” for defamation. According to a representative of C-Jes Entertainment, “‘Dispatch’ published these malicious articles specifically to harm the members of JYJ. We have decided to take legal actions because we could no longer sit and watch these defamatory articles.” The rep added, “We have already prepared the documentations needed to sue for libel and will submit it to the court sometime today. The members of JYJ are still trying to recover from Park Yoo Chun’s father’s passing, and we simply cannot understand why anyone would want to release such things during this time."
JYJ's legal attorney, Sejong, stated, “The file was illegally recorded. Releasing the file without confirming it with the party involved is considered defamation and an invasion of privacy".

The fans in Indonesia went crazy for BEAST.
According to CUBE Entertainment, BEAST held their 5th world tour concert in Indonesia on the 17th. BEAST’s popularity was able to draw in 4 thousand fans to the ‘Beautiful Show in Jakarta’.
On this day, BEAST sang many of their hit songs like ‘Fiction’, Soom (Breathe)’, and ‘Shock’.
In celebration for their first time in Indonesia, when the boys sang 'Clenching a Tight Fist’, the 4 thousand fans setup a special event by holding cards over their heads with a message that read, ‘Our one and only BEAST, thank you’. In response to the fans’ message, the BEAST members thanked the fans in Indonesian.
Before the concert, over 2 hundred press and media came to the press conference to meet with BEAST. This being BEAST’s first time in Indonesia, there was much interest in the boys and an active and lively interview was conducted.
The next day, after the concert, many of Indonesia’s TV broadcast stations’ news and entertainment programs broadcasted the concert, and the enthusiastic fans were showed on the air.

Junjin revealed suffering from panic disorder.
On the episode of Win Win that was broadcast on the 20th, JunJin mentioned that he had suffered from panic disorder during a period of time and had really went through a difficult time.
JunJin said "During the 4th album, I felt that no matter how hard I tried, people would always view me differently. There were also problems at home and financially. There were around 2 months where I would just light the candles and not step out of the house. I would order food but I would not eat them, would only drink soju. That was how I lived."
He continued "I would be thinking and worrying about a lot of things. For instance, I cant see clearly with one of my eye, I would be worrying if the other eye would also worsen. I would be thinking if anyone would suddenly appear and harm me when I am in the car."

Core Contents Media, famous for being the home to girl group T-ara, has revealed new information regarding their upcoming 7-member girl group.
The company is said to have invested more than $890,000 USD on this project, ensuring the group’s ability to prosper and distinguish themselves in the industry, which is booming with up-and-coming girl groups. Although the new project is heavily veiled in secrecy, Core Contents Media stated that the members are compromised of a unique mix of girls, from actresses like Hwang Ji Yeon, Lee Hae In and Choi Soo Eun, to super model Kim Hyeji. The company also revealed that that the girls have wrapped up the filming for their 7-part music video, which was filmed in various locations such as Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
From the high budget music videos to in-studio collaborations with label mate T-ara, this new girl group project is said to be make a mark in the continually expansive K-Pop industry.
Meanwhile, the girls are now in the recording stages for their debut album, said to be released no later than the fourth quarter of 2012.

Kim Wan Sun will star in her first musical since her debut 26 years ago.
According to the musical publisher, Kim Wan Sun is cast as the female lead in "Roly-Poly 2", the sequel to "Our Youth Roly-Poly".
"Roly-Poly 2" is created by T-ara and Davichi's agency who also produced "My Mother" and "Really Really Like You". "Roly-Poly 2" will show the friendship and rebellion of girls in the 1980s', but also bring back memories from the older audience members.
Girl group T-ara's popular retro song "Roly-Poly" is the concept that inspired the musical, and will be performed on stage with lively choreography reflecting the time.
Jang Hyejin and Park Hyemi have decided to continue to appear as cast members. T-ara's Jiyeon, Hyomin and Soyeon who played young female cast members also stay, and will be joined by Eunjung.
A representative from the agency said on the 20th, "The story of 'Roly-Poly 2' is different from the first. The audience had fun during the first, and they will continue to, but will experience a new concept with Kim Wanseon as cast."
"Roly-Poly 2" will begin in early June.

Yedang Entertainment, known for girl group Chi Chi, has revealed the official fancafe for their upcoming boy group. At the moment the fancafe doesn't show anything but a silhouette picture of the group's six members.
Though nothing has been officially confirmed, it is known that the group's members have already been in touch with K-Pop fans through Twitter. Member, and possible leader, Barom ('90) has also mentioned and confirmed a few of the other members as being called Taemin ('93), Hyunil ('94), and Jaejun ('97), with the latter being the maknae.
Barom is also known for his English as well as his dance skills, and has already uploaded various dance videos on his own YouTube account. One of the latest ones includes fellow group member Taemin. Be sure to check it out at the bottom of this article.
More information surrounding the upcoming boy group is set to be revealed, as the official fancafe displays a "coming soon" message in its banner.

In the chorus of their title track, the Korean equivalent of "Sssh" which is a term used in English to mean "be quiet," was misunderstood for being a curse word instead, sparking interest of netizens.
A Pledis Entertainment representative stated that "'쉿' is simply the Korean equivalent for the English term "Ssh" and not a curse word that people suspect it to be."
The representative then went on to say, "It would be impossible to use such a curse word in the lyrics and be able to release it. There are no issues with the lyrics."

It’s almost too easy to meet a female employee who will express frustration about the pace of her advancement at the workplace. A mid-level manager from a Hyundai affiliate was scanning around for job openings at other firms because women “can only go so far on a Hyundai payroll.” Another woman in her early 30s who had applied for a mid-level position at a Samsung affiliate said she was asked whether she had any plans to have children in the future. Long story short, she didn’t get the job. Whether a “no” would have mattered more than her MBA degree is left to the imagination.

The two sides tentatively plan to conduct the meeting in a chapel inside the joint industrial complex in the North's western border city of Kaesong on June 12, Rev. Han Gie-yang said. The complex, a key outcome of the inter-Korean summit in 2000, marries South Korean capital and technology with cheap labor from the North. It is now home to more than 120 South Korean small and medium-sized companies.

Legendary group Shinhwa will hold their comeback concert after the release of their album, and it turns out the concert will be attended by members of idol hoobae groups.
On March 21st, Shinhwa Company revealed, “Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany, SHINee‘s Key, Wonder Girls‘ Yubin, f(x)‘s Amber, Teen Top, and Stellar reserved tickets to attend Shinhwa’s concert.”
Much interest is gaining as idol attendees might also be able to encounter other sunbae idol groups who worked during the same period as Shinhwa.
Meanwhile, immediately after Shinhwa opened up the pre-sale their 10th album special edition, ‘The Return‘, 30,000 albums were sold in half a day. On March 24th to the 25th, Shinhwa will open their concert, ‘The Return’, to which 20,000 tickets were all sold out within 40 minutes.
Shinhwa relayed, “We are just very grateful. We are very thankful that we kept our promise to our fans and will do our best to not disappoint them.”
Shinhwa’s 10th album will be released on March 23rd.

INFINITE has revealed that they will be revealing a new song for the very first time at their encore concert!
On April 1st, the boys will be holding the ‘Second Invasion – Evolution‘, where leader Sunggyu will be revealing a song off of their upcoming album through his solo stage.
INFINITE has been a hit with every activity they pursue lately, as not only did they sell out their first Korean concert, but also two concerts in Japan, as well as their encore concert.
As this encore concert in particular will be releasing a new song off of their May release, officials have put up high security measures to ensure that the song cannot get leaked prematurely. The members stated, “We’re practicing as if this is another of our first concerts, not an encore.”
To fulfill what lacked at their first concert last month, the boys are going above and beyond to come back with even more spectacular stages.
Woolim Entertainment expressed, “Fans can consider this an upgraded version of their last concert, as it’s full of more variety than ever before. It will be a concert to remember, one where the boys work as closely with their fans as possible together.”
Netizens cheered, “Looking forward to the success of INFINITE”, “I want to go to their concert to hear their new song”, “Wondering what their new song will sound like!” and “I’m so excited for their new song!”

After her wedding on March 3rd, TV and radio personality Hyun-young recently announced that she is expecting.
According to her agency on March 19th, Hyun-young is in the early stages of her pregnancy, which was why she was cautious of revealing the news too early outside of her family circle. She's currently taking necessary pre-cautionary measures. Her husband and parents are all thrilled."
Hyun-young wed a man four years older than she. He's said to be in foreign finance, boasting tall, rugged looks. The two dated since March of 2011 before tying the knot earlier this month at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel. At the press conference before the wedding ceremony, the happy couple had said that the two had started trying to conceive as soon as the decision to wed was finalized.
