Core Contents Media, famous for being the home to girl group T-ara, has revealed new information regarding their upcoming 7-member girl group.
The company is said to have invested more than $890,000 USD on this project, ensuring the group’s ability to prosper and distinguish themselves in the industry, which is booming with up-and-coming girl groups. Although the new project is heavily veiled in secrecy, Core Contents Media stated that the members are compromised of a unique mix of girls, from actresses like Hwang Ji Yeon, Lee Hae In and Choi Soo Eun, to super model Kim Hyeji. The company also revealed that that the girls have wrapped up the filming for their 7-part music video, which was filmed in various locations such as Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
From the high budget music videos to in-studio collaborations with label mate T-ara, this new girl group project is said to be make a mark in the continually expansive K-Pop industry.
Meanwhile, the girls are now in the recording stages for their debut album, said to be released no later than the fourth quarter of 2012.

T-ara's Hyomin has become an assistant photographer in a one billion won (~892,220 USD) photoshoot project.
According to her agency, T-ara's Hyomin is extremely interested in photography and pictures, and even holds a collection of cameras. Her agency offered her to go to to Italy, Switzerland and Austria for a photoshoot project and she readily accepted with much excitement.
Hyomin will assist as a secondary/assistant photographer for the overseas shooting of the seven-member rookie girl group consisting of Hwang Jihyun, Choi Sooeun, and Lee Haein. The photos will be taken as a teaser for the debut album of the girl group.
The agency said, "The new seven member girl group's debut album teaser will be visually stunning like a CF or movie. They'll be introduced with a different look than ever before."
The seven member girl group consists of actresses Hwang Jihyun, Choi Sooeun, Lee Haein, and 2010 Supermodel runner-up Kim Hyeji. The other three members have not been revealed, but have an average height of 169cm. They will debut in May.
Meanwhile, Hyomin is preparing for a new album release with T-ara and their first concert and establishing a fanclub in July.

I'm absolutely furious about the atrocity that has become this company's treatment of T-ara, and this honestly just feels like some kind of replacement job. It sounds like CCM is going to take Hyomin, Eunjung, Jiyeon and maybe Hwayoung, send them on their own little solo projects and use this group to pretend T-ara just never happened. smh.
