10 Q&A about B.A.P:
Q: First single ‘Warrior’ received a very good result, what do u guys think bout this single?
Yongguk: Although this is B.A.P’s first single, the participation of members very high. Choosing social issue rather then about love for our first main song, through releasing it publicly by network, our song quickly received highly response. This made us pleasantly surprised, hope everyone will love our song and get to know more about B.A.P .
Q: B.A.P’s debut and announcing of members are way different. During Bang&Zelo promotions, do you feel any pressure? Is that the single ‘Never Give Up’ is the portrayal of feelings of two of you?
Zelo: Rather than saying it’s pressure, this is a sense of mission! I’m B.A.P’s maknae, but I was actually worried that am I really can represent this group? I’ve practiced very hard so when I stood on stage, the sense of responsibility to shoulder the team’s honour already made me forget my worries.
Yongguk: It should be said that ‘Never Give Up’ is the portrayal of feelings of every members. We would also like to convey the thoughts and feelings of chasing dreams and putting in effort to those who’re about same age like us or those who’re chasing their dreams. As you’re working hard towards your dream, you can listen to this song and let’s cheer for one another.
Q: Himchan taking the challenge of becoming MC, do u feel interesting? What is the hardest of MC job? Himchan started to learn traditional music since young, able to play many traditional instrument. Joining into B.A.P which towards the popular front-end. For you, is there any clashes of these two kinds of music? Or is it actually complementing?
Himchan: Through trying MC jobs before debut, I’ve learned a lot, and bcuz of this, I’ve gained many valuable experience, it is very useful for my stage performances now. As for the music part, may be because I’ve learnt it since young, there’s no categorisation of music. The strong foundation that i’ve built through learning traditional music is now a great help to me.
Q: Jongup earns the nickname of ‘Dancing Genius’, what do you think about this nickname? During the learning(dancing) process, what is the strength that support you?
Jongup: It’s too over-praised. *laugh* I’m just very fond of dancing. However, we experienced large challenges during the learning process of choreography of our main song. We’ll encourage each other when any of us are exhausted or lost. This is the strength that supported me.
Q: Daehyun earns the nickname of ‘Busan Wonbin’, what are the pros and cons of having a handsome appearance? When will u think u’re the most handsome?
Daehyun: Haha~ this is too shy, it’s just an awesome nickname that given by fans upon their loves. I think I’m the most handsome when I am prepared everything before going to perform on stage!
Q: Youngjae earns the nickname of ‘Brain’, can anyone explain it?
Everyone agreed: Youngjae can handle every single condition on the spot. He’s smart and calm, providing useful advices and helps for the group all the time.
Youngjae: I don’t think I’m smart. It’s just because I have a habit to analysis every problems or situation clearly. Thus, everyone agreed that I’m an organized person.
Q: Since debut, B.A.P’s various aspects of performance are very eye-catching. Is there any difference before and after debut? After debut, is there anything that made u guys feel exceptionally touched or left you with deep impression?
Himchan: We gained many more fans, even some of them were waiting for us outside the practice room or TV station. (members nodded their heads in agreement)
Yongguk: I think the most impressed and touched is our debut showcase. At the stadium that can hold almost thousands of people, many fans came to support us and filled the stadium. We’re very touched and we’ll work harder in the future to pay back the loves from fans.
Q: After debut, there’re many chances to interact with fans. Is there any memorable moments?
(Upon hearing to this question, everyone smiled together)
Daehyun: There are many memorable moments. However, a while back, something interesting had happened. On 14 Feb(Valentine Day) when we were performing at Jeju, as our hair colours are all the same, in addition we wear caps and masks in the airport, and also similar clothes, fans mistook members and gave chocolate to the wrong member….
Jongup: Not only fans, sometimes even ourselves mistook each other.
Upon hearing Jongup’s word, members started laughing: This is true!! Especially our backview, we sometimes made mistakes too.
Q: All members of B.A.P are living in the same dorm together, can u guys share any interesting dorm-life moments?
Suddenly, everyone smiled and looked at ZELO, Zelo smiled embarrassingly and lowered down his head.
Jongup: Actually when the time we’re all tired, we’ll talk in our sleep. But Zelo is the most special among us, he always talk many funny things when he’s half awake.
Daehyun: Although i feel sorry for ZELO, this is too funny! So sometimes we’ll purposely disturb Zelo, we slightly wake him up to listen what he’s gonna to say.
Yongguk: The most recent topic that Zelo talked in his dream is “Shopping Bag”. But as he can’t remember what he said, we can’t understand the whole situation.
Zelo shrugged and waved his hands : I really can’t remember it!
Q: In this highly competitive Korea’s music industry, what kind of boy group does B.A.P want to be?
Yongguk: We hope that we can become a group that will bring up the Hallyu wave. We will continue to work hard and bring many different sides of B.A.P to everyone. We’ll work hard!
