B1A4 Newsen interview - The secret behind having no scandals for 5 years?

B1A4 reveals their secret behind how they have been promoting without any scandals for the past 5 years since their debut.

Leader Jinyoung met with Newsen at the waiting room of a music program on the 7th. "Through this round of promotions, we want to appeal to everyone with the fact that we produced our songs this time alongside a real band. We've always done it with a real band, but honestly most of the time the recording is done without a drum and bass. This time we wanted more vivid sounds so we recorded with a real band and orchestra. There were many things to take care of, but we worked hard for them to blend together well," he revealed.

Since their fifth mini album Solo Day last July, B1A4 is back to the domestic fans after 1 year and 1 month. It's hard to say that it was a long time coming, but with promotional cycles being shorter for idols, it's not a short time either. B1A4 revealed that due to their relatively long break, they felt scared that their position as singers would become smaller, and that fans would have forgotten them. The song 'After 10 Years' in their new album expresses those feelings.

Yang Hyun Suk, the CEO of YG Entertainment, sat down for an interview recently where he opened up about several situations, including the fact that 2NE1 was absent from a highly competitive summer for the K-pop world. The group has been inactive for a variety of reasons, including leader CL's impending debut into the American music market.

Epik High’s Mithra Jin is getting married!

All members of Epik High are now officially off the market!

On August 10, Mithra Jin appeared as a guest on groupmate Tablo‘s radio show “Tablo’s Dreaming Radio,” during which he made a very special announcement.

“I am finally getting married,” Mithra Jin said. “I am getting married in early October. I ask for your best wishes.”

Last year in December, Mithra Jin and girlfriend Kwon Da Hyun made their relationship public to the surprise of the press when they attended a VIP premiere of the film “How to Steal a Dog” together holding hands.

Mithra Jin and Kwon Da Hyun are tying the knot after dating for approximately three years.

YG Entertainment has released a statement confirming Mithra Jin’s imminent wedding. “Mithra Jin and Kwon Da Hyun are planning to get married in early October,” they said. “The concrete details and location [of the wedding] will be officially announced once they are figured out.”

Synopsis:

Conclusion(?) to the Lee Jung Hee case + her(?) response

Last week, We Want To Know The Truth aired the first episode following Lee Jung Hee’s infamous rape case. The episode suggested that Lee Jung Hee was lying, being manipulated by a Korean shaman known as Kim. The second episode has now aired, which seems to put an end to Lee Jung Hee’s case for good.

Koreaboo has made a synopsis of points from the second episode of We Want To Know The Truth:

After a few weeks of distorted situations, I've been in shock and feeling all panicky, in a very bad state! What the show has projected is one-sided and not the truth! It did not bother about the evidence I had shown them, nor use what clearly are the true facts. Until the day before the broadcast of the show, I finally saw the pd at past midnight 2:30 at the TV Station, and handed those information to him! But the information was never mentioned at all in the show, I am still that lunatic woman who has been brainwashed!

When [I] watched the show, [I] was in shock and suffered a heavy blow. "So this could happen in this world too!" Once again, I felt shocked and was utterly speechless.

I will work hard to resolve all these problems. Below are my points:

- If I had already done so (referring to swindling of the land and money) 7-8 years ago beforehand, I would have been quiet [about it]. Why should [I] risk danger and shout out to the world? And how do I logically reason out the things done to my children?

To the members who have seen the program and suffered quite a shock too, I will rearrange in details and make a post again (referring to the show's loopholes). Please do not worry and please do not be confused!

So many things that have been talked about other than sexual abuse in order to cover that up, I think this is even better! I will stretch my biggest limit to talk about what can be said and what can be done to investigate the truth to all the members!

Minho's attendance in ISAC becomes a controversy

Minho participates in ISAC instead of fan event

Minho is currently filming a drama today, that's why MBC decided that ISAC filming be moved to Aug 11, so the idol could attend as a futsal coach and appear on television for at most 30 seconds. This said ISAC event is at the same date as the idol group SHINee's fan meeting "SHINee Summer Picnic" which was an event to celebrate the group's seven years of existence in the Kpop industry (which Minho will not be attending anymore)

Author says that, it leads to a never ending debate and a controversy especially when Minho has an ankle-injury yet is still being forced to participate in the show (the show's known for idol injuries). Author continues, that ISAC attraction and rating are only because of Choi Minho's presence, implies that Choi Minho is MBC's treasure.
