god, verbal jint is forever "the guy who cried over blacknut" for me now. add on manipulating the rules for him, too. men are such babies. their whole team angered me because they kept throwing their mics ugh. i've worked so many stage crews that just makes me so mad lmao. i know it's not a ~legit~ reason to dislike them but things like that turn me into flames on the side of my face etc.

i liked mino going after vj and san e instead of bn at first.

idk if i'll watch the second half, this show is so poorly edited and predictable.

Owen got shafted for this shit? Hanhae got shafted for this shit? Ptype got shafted for this shit? Mnet stays being the worst. The entire "let's bring BN back" seems staged to me not only to get ratings but to clean Mino's image up. Why was BN's diss censored tho? His actions during Mino's perf being censored I get but his diss? He just said things you say in a diss battle? He wasn't even being extra in his lyrics I don't get it.

Mino handled it well but I can't shake off the feeling of mnet trying to turn him into the underdog.

Basick was out of the game too long.

I still think YG team did the best and that says a lot because they have the weakest people on their team (sans SupaB who everyone seems to be sleeping on probably because of that ridiculous hair).

Microdot and JaMezz did great and Microdot is fahn af tbh. Andup did ok too. I like Mino going after the producers but why just SanEwwww, VJ fucked up also (so disappointed in him).

BN has mental issues and that should not be exploited for TV drama but checked.

Yeah and I get that, but they censored BN's diss before those things even happened, BN was acting like a fool during Mino's diss so why was his diss censored? We did not get to see BN's entire diss where he mentions YG people doing drugs for example (I do get why they censored the GD/Mino comparison cause it was racist) but there were part of his lyrics missing. BN is a mess and I don't know what other reason mnet would have of bringing him back apart from trying to clean Mino's image up...

idt mnet cares about cleaning mino's image. the controversy is just giving them more and more viewers and making bn the scapegoat is not their objective bc k-netz still love bn. i know that they edited those things he did (which is why they stopped recording) so my question is when and what did they edit? unless they stopped recording and just did the diss all over again. i also don't get why they edited his lyrics anyway, so the only thing that i can understand is if he was doing something controversial while he was rapping (hence all other contestants/judges being shocked). he didn't say anything controversial anyway, the gd/sea line is not racist to koreans, they wouldn't have cared, not even mino fans (considering they love whitewashing his photos or telling him he should whiten his skin). so my only guess is that his gestures had something to do with it. he can't seem to control his antics, idek why.

Knowing mnet wouldn't surprise me tbh. From what I could see they just focused the cameras they had on Mino during his performance avoiding footage of BN. But before all that BN's rap was censored. They have several camera angles so if they could release footage of just those focusing on Mino during BN's shenanigans, they could have done similar during BN's diss, that is using footage of the crowd, producers, other contestants while we got to hear BN's entire rap (maybe just with the racist remark cut even though you're right it's not racist to Koreans so they probably didn't censor his rap for that). But we got just snippets of his rap so my guess is mnet did it on purpose to avoid wrath from maybe YG?

I like VJ a lot, but he's been disappointing me on SMTM a lot, he seems so uninterested (as someone put it "there for the paycheck"). Like I get it dude but still put some effort in it, some of those kids can really learn from you.

I'm here for Basick too but honestly he seems like he needs some time to get back in the saddle, he's not really there completely. I like Microdot a lot he just needs to let some of that Gonzo channeling go, Andup is the only one really constantly improving and SupaB is a wild card and someone most ppl sleep on.

I was done with BN the second I saw him and his craziness, there's talent there for sure but it's not worth everything that comes with it, there are more talented people.

Most IC's will be reaching either way. If Mino wins they'll be unbearable (some Bobby fans were too but IC's will be hell) and if/when he doesn't they'll either go on a blaming rant "he didn't win because so and so" or they'll be smug about it saying how at least their bias didn't "win thanks to YG" (a stab at Bobby).

Season 3 was the last decent season of SMTM and even tho technically there were better rappers on this one, it's too big of a mess to concentrate on the talent. I'm done and over it tbh.

Nah, Bobby stans did and continue to do the most. If anything, Mino losing will encourage them and their belief that Bobby is the best rapper in Korean hip-hop (heck, the world). But I don't think Mino will win simply because it doesn't benefit anyone except Mino. And everyone will say he won because of YG, so it's not a good look for either YG or Mnet. ICs never wanted Mino on the show in the first place and no one really cares if he wins or not. I just want some nice SOLO performances from him, nothing else. Mino winning the show isn't worth all the drama.

I disagree, Season 3 was just as bad. I like Bobby a lot and he's a great performer but he didn't deserve to win simply because he wasn't the best rapper in the competition. Everyone (and his fangirls) was momentarily blinded by his great stage presence but stepping back, he's way overrated.

This season really does have a lot better rappers and it's a shame that they've kinda blended into the background of the show because of all the drama.

Some intl Mino stans might not have been too keen on the idea but overall he got support because he was "an underground rapper" (like that means shit).

Everyone knows Bobby wasn't the best rapper but doesn't mean he "didn't deserve to win", he worked just as hard, if not harder, as everyone on his season. Sometimes raw telent isn't everything, he had good producers who made jams for him, he had an amazing delivery, his charisma and stage presence were undeniably best hands down even compared to people with more experience performing, he was likeable and an underdog because everyone went after him (since he was one of the first notable idols on this show) so he had more to prove. This season there were what a dozen idols trying out, so Mino didn't really need to battle that stigma as much.

In my opinion last season was way better because the drama was actually entertaining and fun/light-hearted, this one is pure mess.

All I'm gonna say is that a lot of Bobby fans didn't want him to win nor did we expect it, for similar reasons you stated, but he did to the surprise of most of us. So never say never.

I'm 100% sure Mnet were the ones behind bringing Black Nut back, he brings the drama and ratings, but he's just so damn vile. He went way over the line in the diss battle and I don't understand how Brand new won that tbh. He just needs to be gone already. VJ and San E aint shit and I'm glad that Mino went after them first in his diss.

The format is stupid, i don't understand how next week a whole team will be gone, another will only have one member and then the other 2 will have 3?? makes no sense.

AOMG's performance was all over the place, and i kept facepalming during Jay's part, he's so embarrassing. Moneyflow was so much better, If it doesn't win I'm rage quitting this stupid show tbh.

I really don't want Mino to win, that's just more publicity for him and YG.
He's already proven himself enough. He's signed with one of the best
Entertainments in South Korea, that's a dream come true all of by itself.
I really want someone who is less fortunate to win, they really deserve
to. I hope the ending is not as predictable as I think it'll be.

Again a lot of hype and whole lot of nothing (Andup vs Microdot). I enjoyed the diss battle. Both teams did well and were at the same time pretty meh (omo Basick would you bring it like I know you can, this pretty much goes for everybody that's left). I'm happy BrandNew won because as petty and childish as it is, I enjoy the rage the outcome had/has caused.

Both Mino and Lilboi's performances were ok but Mnet is obvious and Lilboi is gone. The storyline they pushing right now is BlackNut vs Mino (or highly doubtful Mino or BlackNut vs YG finale) and poor little idol Mino all the ~true rappers~ are coming for (please). They also just wouldn't give away who is leaving in the preview like that. It reminds me of the CJammin fake out of last season. So, bye Lilboi you were in my top 5 (basick, lilboi, microdot, hanhae, one) I personally thought you did better but bye next week my top 5 will all be gone so its cool.

Ugh Basick my reason for watching either you or Microdot is gone. No way team BrandNew not going to pick BlackNut after the 'scandal' they went through to bring him back. It would make no sense to not pick him, like "Why the fuck would they bring him back just to eliminate him the very next round?", nah; Basick or Microdot gone. Depending on who gets eliminated for BrandNew/YG next week, I have a pretty sound theory on who will win it all.
