yeah pretty sure whenever there's a poll from the gay community going around on female fan-centric sites it's usually from nonexistent gay communities that young ones make up to insist their oppas are popular even among gays

most of gay internet communities are super low-key and closed to public that stuff like this wouldn't be spread around - not to mention that the original instiz post doesn't even mention where the source of the poll is from.

Well there are certainly quite public gay communities around, especially in universities - with websites, social media presence, stands on campus etc, so it's not impossible.

only one i can think of that has pretty open policies and posts is the ilbe thread for sexual minorities, but idk, the ones you mentioned are quite different compared to regular community sites like humoruniv, todayhumor, and dcinside.

even if this poll is invalid (as suggested above) i'm with netizen #1 on vixx tbh. the rest was pretty much expected for me, sans the lack of taemin/key and the presence of baro instead of jinyoung or c.nu, mainly bc most of the people listed here are generally considered the most popular from their respective groups anyways.
