A bunch of Korean netizens that flipped out at iljin super thug Chanmi allegedly crossing the line in insulting Hana caused a bunch of international netizens to likewise flip-out over a game that’s been played since it was started for the show ‘X Man‘ back in the day.

'During a game of ‘Of Course/Dangyeonhaji’, Chanmi asked questions to Hana like, “Unni, you have the worst proportions in SECRET, right?”, “Unni, you’ve been having a hard time because you have no work, right?”, “You;’ve never kissed a man, right?”'

Plot:

SHINee member Minho recently stepped up as a special one-day host for MBC’s variety talk show “Radio Star” in place of Super Junior’s Kyuhyun on the June 10 broadcast.

On this ‘Musical Star Special’ episode, Ock Joo Hyun, Lee Ji Hoon, Shin Sung Rok, and Kim Soo Yong appeared as guests.

During the broadcast, actor Lee Ji Hoon showcased his ‘three level kiss,’ of which the youngest MC, Minho, became a victim.

Lee Ji Hoon, who is also called the ‘lip king’ due to his plump lips, was asked, “Do you really kiss during the kiss scenes in musicals?” to which he answered that he does.

KARA's Seungyeon worries girl group outfits are too short

On a recent episode of “Kim Shin Young’s Song Requests at Noon,” KARA member Seungyeon made a special appearance but ended up being criticized for her comments.

It seems as though netizens are now more unhappy, as they criticized member Seungyeon for her comments on a recent broadcast of the MBC FM4U radio show, “Kim Shin Young’s Song Requests at Noon.” During the show, host Kim Shin Young asked Seungyeon, “Do you guys [KARA] have deep discussions about the stage performances of other girl groups?” To this, the KARA member answered, “We worry about whether or not they are worried about the shortness of their pants. We are unnies to most of them…sometimes we worry that they are too short [to perform in].”

Netizens attacked this comment and bashed Seungyeon, reasoning that her statement was rather hypocritical, seeing as how her own group, KARA, also wears pants that are very short for their album concepts and live stage performances. In fact, KARA’s latest concept and music video for “CUPID” features the members of KARA wearing pants that are just as short as the ones that other currently-active girl groups in the industry can be seen wearing.

Brown Eyed Girls Denies News of Disbandment, “Working on New Album”

Girl group Brown Eyed Girls has come forth to adamantly deny the reports of the group disbanding.

Earlier today, media outlet Sports World reported that the four-member girl group would be disbanding, as Gain has left Nega Network to join Apop Entertainment and JeA, Narsha, and Miryo‘s contract would be over soon.

Sports World reported that Nega Network was having “financial problems, and album production is realistically difficult,” and that “Gain’s label Apop Entertainment considered recruiting the other members to continue Brown Eyed Girls, but the disagreement among the members nullified that.”

After the article surfaced, the girls’ agencies denied the claim.

Mystic Entertainment, parent company of Apop, announced, “It’s the first time hearing about us recruiting the rest of Brown Eyed Girls. We’ve never even discussed this.”

The girls’ agency Nega Network also told the press that this claim was baseless, adding, “We’ve never talked about it, and it isn’t even worth responding to. The group has events scheduled in July and August. We are working on their next album. This is nonsense.”

JeA took to her personal Twitter to speak up about the news. “Fans were probably taken aback by the absurd news,” she tweeted, “We’re preparing our album right now, what is this? It’s more absurd as the article was so detailed. Even if that day comes, we will tell you ourselves, not like this.”

Previously in March, Gain has also mentioned in an interview that “Brown Eyed Girls is currently planning on releasing an album this summer.”

VIPs are outraged at the alleged discrimination that BIGBANG faced at SBS’ Inkigayo for their new song, “Bang Bang Bang”Fans flooded the “viewers forum” of Inkigayo with complaints on the disadvantages that BIGBANG suffered for the rankings vote for their new song and comeback.
The problem occurred when BIGBANG’s “Bang Bang Bang” was released at 12:00AM on June 2nd KST, but was delayed on being registered in the voting system for 41 hours.
Numerous fans began voting on BIGBANG’s track “Bae Bae”, which was the only registered track during this delay. Due to the 1 person 1 vote system that Inkigayo has in place, fans were then unable to vote for “Bang Bang Bang”, splitting the votes.

‘Inkigayo’ responded through the forum stating, “Every Wednesday afternoon the candidates are determined based on ‘new songs released from Monday~Wednesday of the week’ and ‘New songs from appearing singers’. This means that if an artist is already a candidate on Monday but releases another song, the song of the artist is replaced with the new song during the process of voting.
In the case of BIGBANG’s ‘Bang Bang Bang’, due to its release on Monday June 1st, according to proper procedure, their song ‘Bae Bae’ was replaced with ‘Bang Bang Bang’ on Wednesday June 3rd in the afternoon. This did not go against our normal policy.”
Fans are however still not satisfied, stating they would have held their votes and waited for the registration of ‘Bang Bang Bang’ on the charts had they known this policy.
They also claim that the treatment is different from other incidents, where on the 8th, ‘Inkigayo’ failed to register EXO’s new song on the charts and apologized to fans. They also allowed fans to re-vote via their email.

Brown Eyed Girls′ Miryo will be kicking off solo activities.

A representative from Miryo′s agency, Nega Network, stated in a phone conversation with Newsen on June 10, "Miryo recently completed recording for her solo album. The release date hasn′t been set yet, but we forsee it coming out late June to early July."

The rep continued, "Gain will be featured in Miryo′s solo track. When Miryo completes her solo activities, the Brown Eyed Girls members plan to begin group activities together.

Meanwhile, Brown Eyed Girls debuted in 2006 with Your Story, garnering hits like Abracadabra, Oasis and Hold the Line thereafter.

MBC FM4U’s “FM Date” producers have shared, “Since Sunny is away working abroad, Luna will fill in for her from [June] 10th to [June] 12th.”

Known for her bright energy, Luna is sure to cheer up people who are on their way home after a long day of work. Singers Lucia and Kim Bo Kyung will be appearing as guests on the radio show as well.

Luna recently amazed viewers with her vocal skills on MBC‘s “King of Mask Singer.” Listeners can listen to “FM Date” live through their internet radio which is available on their official website.

During the show, Luna receives a question from a listener asking about what she has the least confidence in or is the worst at.

Luna Overcame Stage Fright After Appearing on “King of Masked Singer”



f(x)‘s member Luna revealed in a recent broadcast of the radio show “Sunny’s FM Date” that she was successful in overcoming stage fright after appearing in “King of Masked Singer.”

On June 10, Luna was a special DJ for “Sunny’s FM Date” as the show’s DJ Sunny was away on a schedule in Thailand.

When a listener asked her the reasoning behind appearing on “King of Masked Singer,” she answered that she decided to go on the show to overcome her stage fright.

“Many people think it’s odd when I tell them I have stage fright, since I’m a singer,” she said. “But I still made mistakes on stage, even after practicing for 10 hours. I eventually started to fear going on stage.”

She continued, “So I thought, ‘it might help if I sing with a mask on.’ I didn’t go on the show with a goal of becoming the ‘King of Masked Singer.’ Of course, I thought it would be nice if I did become the King. But my goal was to try my best and sing the songs I’ve wanted to sing. So I’m thankful and touched that so many people were moved by my performances.”

Luna previously won two consecutive titles as the “King of Masked Singer” on the show, become the First and the Second King.

Luna will continue to be a special DJ on “Sunny’s FM Date” until June 12.

f(x)’s Luna Reveals Her Family Was Critical of Her “King of Mask Singer” Performances



While the public was blown away by f(x) member Luna‘s outstanding vocals on “King of Mask Singer,” her family seems to think there is room for improvement.

Luna was a guest on the May 26 broadcast of MBC FM4U’s “Two O’Clock Date, I’m Park Kyung Lim” to talk about her “King of Mask Singer” experience and overall singing career.

During the radio show, she revealed that musical talent runs in the family, but she is the only one to pursue a career in pop music. “Everyone in my family is a classical musician except for me.”

“My father is a conductor, my mother and older sister are vocalists, and my older brother is a composer,” she explained, and went on to say, “I have the weakest voice of our family.”

“As all of my family members are professional musicians, they gave constructive criticism on my tone or breathing technique instead of giving me compliments,” Luna finally revealed how her family reacted to her performances on “King of Mask Singer.”

“Inkigayo” and “M!Countdown” Embroiled in Voting Controversy With BIGBANG and EXO

The calm before the storm is over, and before BIGBANG and EXO’s first meeting on a music show where they battle it out for the trophy, fans are butting heads, both with each other – ever since the music videos for the two groups were released – and with the music shows – namely SBS “Inkigayo” and Mnet “M!Countdown.”

“Inkigayo” and “M!Countdown” had it coming, though; both apparently couldn’t handle the pressure of doing the same thing that they do every week again this week, and royally screwed up, so now they’re facing the wrath of V.I.Ps and EXO-Ls. (Slow clap.)

Jun Ji Hyun to take double role as twins in “Assassination”

For the first time, actress Jun Ji Hyun is to take a double role as twins in the upcoming highly anticipated summer film, Assassination.

Following the hit film The Thieves in 2012, Jun Ji Hyun has selected to return to the big screen with the same director Choi Dong Hoon. Along with starring actors, Lee Jung Jae, Ha Jung Woo, and Jo Jin Woong, the actress is to play the role of a patriotic independent soldier named Ok Yoon. Due to her double role as identical twins, Jun Ji Hyun has put in much effort for every detailed moves and dialogue.

An insider mentioned, “Although Jun Ji Hyun gave much thought of her twins role ahead of time, she enjoyed monitoring her performance at the recording set. The filming was serious and solemn, but I remember hearing claps and laughter right after the cut queue.”

Happy summer, everyone! The hot weather is here to stay and everyone is dressing accordingly. Here's a quick visual run-down of what we're seeing in Seoul's most fashionable neighborhoods.

The perennial menswear trend of summer suiting constructed of lightweight fabrics like linen and seersucker is out, but there's a bit of a twist this year! A common casual menswear silhouette seems to be shorts + long sleeved jackets or tops and we've seen this variation out in formally tailored suit jackets and shorts as well!

Women are wearing a lot of sets - skirts and tops, shorts, and tops, pants, and tops, in prints and patterns with matching accessories. Flowy and lightweight skirts and sundresses have returned, and bold patterns and prints are also found there. Finally, almost everyone has a hat on to protect against the sun - boaters are especially popular. You'd probably find sunblock in everyone's purses or pockets if you asked, too.
