Flashback Friday
2021-06-11 03:31 pmwaves-of-light.livejournal.comHello! Every week I go through the charts for this day in the past and share the top three songs. Then I pick out two more from the top ten as honorable mentions. This week, we are going back 10 years to the 2nd week in June, 2011. I forgot it was Friday, and just remembered in the middle of a nice, leisurely lunch (…I ate donuts while talking a walk around the neighborhood). This will be quick lol.
#3 FT Island “Hello Hello”
The band would spend a lot of time in Japan around this time, due to 2010 being their big breakout year over there. But they would make a comeback in Korea to release a new EP, “Return”. The album would peak at #1. Here’s a fun Music Core stage that took place randomly at a water park lol.

This was a digital single that was released as a collaboration with composer Jeon Hae Sung. It was a part of his “Love Call” series of releases that he worked on with other artists. The duo have worked with him for their huge hit “Don't Say Goodbye”. This song would peak at the second spot and also sell very well.

Once I start watching 1 old performance I can't stop and end up re-watching at least a full episode.
