After news of singer-actor No Min Woo filing a lawsuit against his former agency, SM Entertainment, hit the media, his current agency revealed more details as to the reason he is suing, as well as the timing of the suit.
On May 11, a representative of MJ Dreamsys told Ilgan Sports, “As soon as No Min Woo entered his second year of middle school, SM Entertainment tried to sign him. Although he wasn’t planning to sign, [SM] convinced him and eventually signed the contract. However, [the agency] never once properly played out their role as a management.”

GOT7‘s Jackson will be joining “Inkigayo” as an MC. It has been revealed that he will start filming for the music program on May 17.
The singer has previously shown off his variety skills in SBS‘s “Roommate 2” which ended this past April.
A representative from the show shares, “Jackson joined ‘Inkigayo’ as an MC. He has great variety skills and GOT7 will be promoting soon so he was chosen to be an MC.”

SHINee member Jonghyun proved his worth and talent as a songwriter by competing with thirty other songwriters to write the lyrics for the title track of his group’s upcoming fourth full album.
SHINee recently announced their comeback, after more than a year of hiatus from Korean promotions, with their fourth album, “Odd.” The title track, “View,” was revealed through their upcoming solo concerts on May 15 to 17 in Seoul.
“View” will be an upbeat house song, composed by British producing team, LDN Noise. For the lyrics of the song, Jonghyun wrote about the beauty of love in a sensuous way that match the musicality of the song. Competing with even professional songwriters, Jonghyun’s lyrics were chosen, showing his talent in songwriting.
Songwriting is not new to Jonghyun. He has written and composed several songs for SHINee and for other artists such as IU and Lim Kim.
SHINee’s fourth album “Odd” will be released on various music platforms on May 18.

On the latest episode of Weekly Idol, the members of EXID revealed that they received their first paycheck since the “UP&DOWN” fancam incident.
One by one, the members shared what they plan to do with their first paycheck.
Solji stated, “I’m going to give everything to my mom, I haven’t been able to bring anything home for the last 10 years. I want them to give me some pocket money from what I give them and with that I want to buy myself and my mom a pair of nice shoes each.”
Junghwa stated, “I want to actually make use of my driver’s license,” and Hyerin, “I want to start saving up for a house in Seoul since my parents live so far away.”
Hani confessed, “I want to buy my family presents and get myself a new pair of glasses since the ones I have are warped. I don’t need expensive brands, I’m just going to get one at the local glasses shop.” LE revealed that she wanted to buy a carrier bag that she had been wanting for a long time.
In response, MC Jung Hyungdon said, “You all deserve this. You deserve to let loose even if it seems a little luxurious, you worked so hard.” The moment became rather emotional as Solji shed tears upon hearing these words.
The episode also featured various games such as a humorous rendition of Apink’s “Mr. Chu” dance. Meanwhile, the girl group has claimed various trophies with their latest comeback track “Ah Yeah.”

When you’re training to be an idol singer, you receive lessons for singing, dancing, acting and much more. Apart from those skills necessary in the entertainment world, it seems like every idol is also required to have at least one individual talent for variety show appearances. Whether it’s imitating an animal or performing a trick, idols of today possess some skills that are really odd. Did your idol make the list? 1. Shinee Onew & Shinhwa Andy.
Did you know both Andy from Shinhwa and Onew from SHINee love to imitate Donald Duck? Onew is an idol known for his many, random talents (including extra strong fingers). Check him out as he goes head to head with Andy in this hilarious Donald Duck battle.
2. Teen Top Changjo
Changjo from Teen Top has a really strange habit that I’ve never seen before. Somehow, this artist can make smoke come out of his mouth! People do that naturally in cold weather, but Changjo can do it any time.
3. F(x) Victoria
Victoria of f(x) is known for being extremely flexible, but a lot of people still haven’t seen her display her skill. This video contains some of the best clips where she amazed the audience (and fellow idols) with her super flexible body.
4. 2PM Taecyeon
Taecyeon from 2PM has one of the strangest talents on the list. He can play his teeth like a piano! It’s a talent that is both weird and difficult, thus making it a winner for variety shows.
5. SNSD Sooyoung
Sooyoung of Girls’ Generation is well-known for her many vocal imitations. One of the most popular people to imitate in Korea is Christina. Here, Sooyoung nails her inflection, voice and accent perfectly- much to the amusement of her group members.
6. BTOB Minhyuk
Minhyuk of BTOB is another idol known for being extremely flexible. Here, he shows off a special skill that requires a ton of strength in your arms and core. That amazing strength is part of what makes him such an amazing athlete. Other male stars like Sungmin (Super Junior) and Jin (BTS) are also really flexible as well.
7. TVXQ/DBSK Yunho & Jaejoog
Back in the days when TVXQ was still a group with 5 members, Yunho and Jaejoong both showed off their personal talents on a TV show. Their talents are quite bizarre and range from shaping their tongue into a clover to making themselves look pregnant.
8. After School Lizzy

Lizzy of After School has an extremely strange talent. She says she can immediately find the exact spot of a man’s nipples through his shirt. When she displayed her talent on the show Radio Star, the hosts were both impressed and embarrassed.

Shindong of Super Junior has an interesting talent of being able to balance things on one finger. He can balance things of all shapes and sizes- a chair, a musical instrument and more! Super Junior has always been a group that likes performing their talents on variety shows and Shindong is no exception.

MUSIC BANK
It has been confirmed that BIGBANG will finally be taking the stage on KBS’ weekly music program “Music Bank” this week!
On May 13, a representative of YG Entertainment shared, “BIGBANG will be appearing on the May 15 live broadcast of ‘Music Bank’ to perform a stage of their new song.”
Over the years, YG Entertainment artists were not often seen on KBS variety or music programs, although YGE denied any bad relations with the broadcast network. However, after a recent meeting between Yang Hyun Suk and an official of KBS, it appears that YG artists will be making more frequent appearance on their broadcasts.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG has continued to dominate music sites since the release of “Loser” and “BAE BAE” on May 1.
RUNNING MAN
According to an exclusive report by Sports Today, BIGBANG is looking to make a group appearance on “Running Man,” for the first time in three long years.
“Running Man” producer Im Hyung Taek also spoke to media, and said, “It hasn’t been confirmed yet. They are currently in discussions for an appearance.”
