I myself don't think it sounds like the current /self-composed CNBLUE works, but rather like Kim Do Hoon's early "trendy" compositions for them ('Loner', 'Intuition').
Nevertheless, from their japanese releases you can tell NF is very different from CNB, they go for a much more hip hop + punk sound. Their concept is also much more urban/rebellious.
Incredibly old-cnb-esque. I'm A Loner (which I love despite the pain and controversy it brought to the poor boys) and Intuition (which I'm incredibly meh to bc inferior I'm A Loner 2.0 much) come to mind. FNC really needs to be careful, they already got so many cnb comparisons with their indie songs, it might get worse. I mean cnb do their own (and better) music now which is different from this so it's not too bad but yeah, this may hinder nflying's hype.
Oh but don't get me wrong, this still sounds ok to me and I'm pumped. Hope boices and pris are kind to them this round.
