Girl group member 'A' has recently been promoting actively as a solo singer but it's been reported that she's putting those around in her a difficult situation with her top star disease.

On the 8th, Newsen revealed, "After acting in a drama and movie, girl group member A has become cocky. She acts like she's the mightiest and one of the only top stars in the world." According to her main manager, A had declared, "I can't sing or dance so I'll quit my singing career and focus on my acting." She then cut complete contact with her group members.

The manager added, "She's going to get into a huge scandal at this rate." A's mother even went as far as to visit the mother of top idol group member B to ask for her consultation.

Girl group member G is said to be quite happy with herself after the success of her recent acting work. Known as the most popular member in her group, she's currently getting her name out there through various works on her own. It seems, however, that she'd rather focus completely on the path of acting and give up singing entirely. Prosecutors Demand Two and a Half Years in Prison for Ladies’ Code Manager

Prosecutors have demanded a sentence of two years and six months in prison in the recent court trial held for Ladies’ Code manager Park (27), who was driving at the time of the tragic incident that took the lives of Ladies’ Code members EunB and RiSe. The accident had six casualties in total.

At the trial that was held earlier today, Park acknowledged the charges against him through the questioning, but claimed that he had “done everything [he] could after the accident, calling the ambulance, and giving his all with rescue efforts.”

He also claimed that the “vehicle of the accident was unfamiliar, as it was given to [him] the day before the accident,” and that “[he] tried to take the members home as quickly as possible since the members seemed tired after their remote schedule, which ultimately had terrible consequences.”

He pleaded for mercy as he said, “I am gravely regretting that one horribly wrong decision and I am reflecting on it. I sincerely apologize to the families of the members, the fans, and everyone else for causing such sadness. Please give me a chance to live life diligently.”

The final trial will take place next year, on January 15.

YG to Produce Films and Dramas with Yuehua Entertainment

After launching their cosmetics line Moonshot and fashion brand NONAGON, YG Entertainment is now setting its eyes on the film and television industry.

According to Korean news outlet Hankyung, the K-pop giant is currently in talks with Yuehua Entertainment, a Beijing-based talent agency, about co-producing films and dramas. If both agencies agree to move forward with the collaboration, then joint productions are expected to begin in Korea and China simultaneously as early as next year.

YG and Yuehua already have an established partnership as they have previously collaborated in producing the rookie Chinese-Korean boy band UNIQ, which debuted in October with their song “Falling in Love.”

High ranking YG Entertainment staff found guilty of evading military service

An unnamed high ranking staff member only known as Mr. Shin from YG Entertainment , who is known to house some of K-pop’s biggest artists such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, and more, has been found guilty by the courts of evading his military services.

Recently, the Seoul District Court’s 13th Administration ruled Mr. Shin guilty of purposely evading his military services and ordered him to active military enlistment.

Many fans, particularly those in China, have taken to social media to vent their anger and displeasures. Tl;dr: Large volume of evidence suggesting shady numbers for each category of the music ranking began to surface on social media last week. There is suspicion of result manipulation. Chinese fans are demanding refunds of fees that were charged to make votes (through LaiFeng, where you can vote endlessly at a cost of 1 RMB per vote).
Without the unexplained fluctuation in SMS votes and/or alteration of the Tudou chart rankings GOT7 or T-ara would have won.

Actor, Song Joong-ki raises income over one billion won even after joined national service, thanks to renewed contracts for TV commercials

Song Joong-ki was ranked #5 in the list of the top celebrities who benefited from serving the national army according to tvN TV show, 'E News'.



Top five also includes Jang Hyeok, Sung Si-kyung, Oh Jong-hyuk, Yoon Si-yoon and Ji Seong.

Song Joong-ki decided to join the national army on August 27th, 2013 all of sudden, while he had more than 10 contracts for TV commercials thanks to the big success of 'The Innocent Man' and 'A Werewolf Boy'.

His value and popularity went up even higher after he joined the army. After the entertainment soldier system was cancelled due to the incident some of the soldiers used massage parlors while serving military, he joined the army as a regular solider for the first time among actors, singers and other entertainers alike. Because of this, he drew much attention at the time. Contrary to his soft image, he was deployed to the Reconnaissance Corps, which is famed with intense training.

The military recognized his earnest service and had him to host an event by Ministry of National Defense, which took place in China. When his photo from the event was released, people said he became even more impressive.

Song Joong-ki emerged as a sought-after celebrity for TV commercials before he joined the army. He had contracted more than 10 TV commercials including cosmetics, outdoor goods, and smartphones. He earned 500 million won per each contract of the TV commercials. All of the contracts were renewed even during the time he has been serving the military and he still has been earning much income.
