YG Entertainment‘s CEO Yang Hyun Suk will be appearing on talk show “Healing Camp.”
This will be his second appearance on the talk show, as he first guested on the program two years and six months ago.
According to a broadcast insider, this episode of “Healing Camp” will be different from the show’s usual format.
Yang Hyun Suk’s previous appearance on “Healing Camp” was divided into two parts. First part looked at his life and work, while the second part was about his life with his family. The first episode of Yang Hyun Suk’s appearance on “Healing Camp” had a 9.1% rating, which was way over the show’s average rating.
Now, the attention is on what Yang Hyun Suk will be talking about during his upcoming appearance on the talk show.
Yang Hyun Suk will also be a judge on the upcoming fourth season of “K-Pop Star” which will premiere on November 23

Starship X All Night Concert will feature Starship artists at the Walker Hill Theatre Hall on December 5.
Starship X is an independent album label that Starship Entertainment established last year, centering on JunggiGo and Mad Clown, and managed to get off to a good start with Stupid in Love by Mad Clown and SISTAR’s Soyou topping all music charts and music broadcasts.
JunggiGo and Soyou’s duet Some released in February won first place on music program 11 times and ranked number one on music chars for 41 days, setting a new record by topping the chart for the longest time this year. It was parodied in movies, comedy, commercials and shows, becoming a hot issue of 2014.
SISTAR’s Hyolyn and Mad Clown, who earned the nickname of ‘Korea’s Eminem and Rihanna’ for having outstanding vocal and rap abilities, also topped various music charts with the song Without You.
he upcoming concert will feature six teams, including JunggiGo, Mad Clown, Hyolyn, Soyou, Jooyoung and NUBOYZ.
Starship Entertainment rep stated, “Instead of settling with the growth of the agency’s artists such as SISTAR, Boyfriend, K.Will and more, this concert will be featuring talented artists like Mad Clown and JunggiGo in order to expand the musical spectrum and prove the potential of music label Starship X once again, which makes high quality contents.”
Starship X All Night Concert will be held on December 5 in Walker Hill Theatre Hall and the concert will combine a concert and a party, inviting famous DJs and artists.
The tickets will become available on November 17 on all online ticket reservation sites.

Two talented young artists, Han Hee Jun and Iron, have signed with Polaris Entertainment.
Polaris Entertainment announced on November 17 that the two artists have signed with their agency.
Han Hee Jun previously appeared on “K-Pop Star 3,” coming in at top 6. He has also stated before that his role model is Kim Bum Soo, a singer under Polaris.
Iron is a rapper who was runner-up on Mnet‘s “Show Me The Money 3,” where he competed again iKON‘s Bobby in the final round. On the show, he was under YDG‘s crew.
Polaris Entertainment is home to musicians like Kim Bum Soo, YDG (Yang Dong Geun), Ivy, and Ladies’ Code. It also houses actors like Oh Yoon Ah, Kim Sung Kyung, and Jung Ho Bin.
The two musicians will immediately begin working on their music as they join Polaris Entertainment.

K-pop bands JYJ and TVXQ may confront each other at the upcoming premier event of the film “Big Match” for the first time since JYJ quit TVXQ in 2009, a local online media outlet reported on Monday.
JYJ members Kim Jae-joong, Park Yu-chun and Kim Jun-su -- the three former members of then-five-member TVXQ -- will attend the “Big Match” premier that takes place in Wangsini, eastern Seoul, on Nov. 24. They will support the lead actor Lee Jung-jae from the same agency, C-JeS Entertainment.
The two remaining TVXQ members, Shim Chang-min and Jung Yun-ho, will also be present at the event to support singer-actor BoA of S.M. Entertainment.
The two boy bands have never attended the same entertainment event since the split in 2009. The JYJ members filed for an injunction against S.M. in mid-2009, alleging their 13-year exclusive contract was unreasonably long.
The case dragged on till Nov. 2012, for three years and four months, when SM Entertainment and JYJ reached an agreement to terminate all contracts between the two parties and not to interfere with each other’s future activities.
The unprecedented encounter may pressurize the organizer over assigning seats for not only JYJ and TVXQ, but also their agencies.

Catching eyes with his strong presence in tvN’s Misaeng, actor Kang Ha Neul will be making his play debut through Harold & Maude.
Expanding his acting spectrum through small and big screens, Kang Ha Neul’s films C’est si bon, The Age of Innocence and Twenty Years Old will soon be premiering and despite filming Misaeng, Kang Ha Neul will be performing on play stage along with the ‘godmother’ of plays Park Jung Ja, who has consistently performed in plays for over 52 years.

In an interview held on November 14 in a café in Mapo-gu, Lee Hi started, “Instead of taking the sooneung on the day that College Scholastic Ability Test (aka sooneung) took place on November 13, I practiced choreography with Akdong Musician’s Lee Suhyun until 4 in the morning.”

Watching 'Misaeng' could make you hate Mondays. You could hate the day because it means you have to wait a few more days for another episode of the drama, starring ZE:A's Im Si Wan and Kang So Ra. But you might also dread Monday because of the way the drama portrays a treacherous day in the office.
There's backstabbing, bullying, broken deals and fistfights. It's not a place you want to work but apparently quite a few people do work in such an environment.

Bringing an array of talented artists into one production, Mnet revealed the first lineup for its upcoming new music drama, Perseverance, Goo Hae Ra (translated).
On November 17, Mnet named B1A4′s Jinyoung, Super Junior-M′s Henry, Ulala Session′s Park Kwang Sun and Yu Seong Eun in the first cast line up for the new drama.

On November 17, a press conference for the upcoming 2014 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) took place at the CJ E&M Center located in Mapo District, Seoul.
During the press conference, the chief director in charge of the awards show hinted at a possible performance, explaining, “We are in the middle of preparing a kiss performance. There are about three weeks left until the event, so we can’t tell you exactly what it is. But it seems like many people are waiting for one, so we will somehow try to showcase an even stronger kiss performance than before.”
In previous years, BIGBANG’s T.O.P and Lee Hyori, along with BEAST’s Jang Hyun Seung and 4Minute’s Hyuna (Troublemaker) were a part of a kiss performances for MAMA.
The director also revealed, “There will be performances by two solo singers, as well as a collaboration between a legendary artist and the hottest solo singer of 2014. Please look forward to a sexy battle and dynamic boy group stages. Seo Taiji, a nominee for this year’s main award, is also preparing a special stage.”

The concept of this show is to "investigate" CEOs from entertainment companies. I enjoyed it a lot since it was more laid-back. They tackled some big rumors and had a lot of funny predebut or behind-the-scenes stories to tell.
They talk about:
- FNC taking over JYP's "Big 3" - seat
- FNC's 30 billion debt before debuting CN Blue
- MCs dragging the CEO for the failed "Mirae's Choice"
- Hong CEO's discrimination of FT Island in favor of CN Blue, FT Island being guinea pigs
