what do you think about this omona?? these aren't even official teasers but I'm already excited!!! I think worldwide release just means on iTunes but idk. I doubt they'll make it for a June comeback at this rate (I HATE B2M) but it seems like they're pulling out all the stops working with US and Japanese producers/stylists etc. seems like a sexy concept so prayer circle for Jessica K Boa

Who will become the next Suzy?

According to No Cut News, although many male idol singers have been appearing in dramas, actresses are the ones that have played the main characters in dramas. However, many broadcast companies have seen potential in female idols that they have started supporting them by giving them the role of the main character.

A good example of this would be A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji. Jung Eun Ji will be appearing onKBS 2TV’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama, “Trot Lovers” as one of the main characters.

Jung Eun Ji debuted as an actress in 2012 through tvN’s drama, “Reply 1997.” At the time, she gained popularity through her use of dialect and playing the part of the bubbly, female student.

However, she did have her downfall. After the success of “Reply 1997,” she appeared inSBS’s popular drama, “That Winter, the Wind Blows,” but many viewers expressed that her acting was awkward for not using any dialect. That’s why, “Trot Lovers” will be the drama where Jung Eun Ji will be re-evaluated as an “acting dol.”

Sorry mods, I put the Miss A tag instead of Suzy. Man, I hate when articles try and compare other female idols to Suzy or some other super popular person because than all the pressed stans come out.  I agree about training the idol-actors though. There are very few people that all of a sudden start acting late in life and are naturally good at it.

ji chang wook

After playing the immature emperor Ta Hwan in "Empress Ki, Ji Chang Wook is ready for a more mature role.

He is considering the role of a senior citizen who gets a second chance in the upcoming drama "Mister Baek". His character Baek Ho starts out as a 70-year-old hotel CEO and then discovers that he is growing younger, until one day he is miraculously in his 30s. This is not unlike the plot of the film "Miss Granny," which starred Shim Eun Kyung as a grandmother who finds herself in a much younger body.

Current coach: Hong Myungbo
Best performance in a FIFA competition: FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan 2002 (Fourth place)

Myungbo: We expect Algeria to attack

Korea Republic are braced for what coach Hong Myungbo believes Algeria will be a far more potent attacking force when the teams meet in the FIFA World Cup™ on Sunday in Porto Alegre.

TheTaeguk Warriors hold the edge after picking up a point in their 1-1 draw with Russia in the first round of games, while Algeria, beaten 2-1 by group favourites Belgium, will be heading home with another loss.

"Algeria defended well [against Belgium] but I don't think they'll play the same way against us," Myungbo said. "They've got a lot of excellent forwards, they are very quick, these are very dynamic players. "Their three strikers are really rapid, with good individual technique, so when there are duels we have to reduce their opportunities."

Myungbo, a national icon back home after skippering Korea to fourth place in 2002, was also wary of the Algerians' midfield. "They like to press hard, we have to resist this pressure and play in space as one should," he said.

The former Los Angeles Galaxy player, who hasn't yet decided on a starting line-up for Sunday's game, says he will be sending his team out to take three points.

"I can't predict the result," he said. "But what I can say is that we're going to play to win, because we absolutely have to win to hope to reach the next round. We want to score first...our players are going to try to convert [chances], but we'll have to be patient. We're going to have opportunities - the key to the game will be if we can convert these into goals."

Jacheol: I will make sacrifices

Korea Republic did not get off to a perfect start in Group H, but they will look to take the positives from their hard-fought 1-1 draw with Russia in Cuiaba into Sunday's meeting with Algeria.

Korea's captain Koo Jacheol has played under coach Hong Myungbo for several years in youth championships and at the 2012 London Olympics, where they won a historic bronze medal. Hong has shown his confidence in Koo by giving him the captain's armband as well as having him play in a more advanced midfield role.

Koo spoke exclusively with FIFA.com about his changing role in the team and what qualities set the Taeguk Warriors apart.

FIFA.com: The match against Algeria is just around the corner. As captain, do you feel any added pressure?
Koo Jacheol: Things like morale and the preparation, that are not in the hands of the coaching staff, are my responsibilities. If I observe the players and I control them, so to speak, to make sure that they enter the match together, then I think we will get a good result against Algeria. I don't feel especially pressured or overwhelmed by the responsibilities.

You have participated in the youth World Cup, the Guangzhou Asian Cup, and the London Olympics as a captain and taken on a role as a leader for this generation of Korean footballers. How do you feel about the term "Hong Myungbo's Children"?
The fact that the term has emerged shows that the media has been following our progress. I have never thought of ourselves as Hong Myungbo's children. I can't deny the fact that we have spent a lot of time together, however. I have good memories of being on this team. I am optimistic about his ability to bring the team together and lead it well.

You have played different positions throughout your career. Now you play as an offensive player. Which position fits you best?
The moment I quit football and am free of pressure, I will be able to say which position was the position I prefer. When I was a defensive midfielder, I was able to play confidently. I am confident in my current position as well. I feel sometimes that I still can't quite shake off the style of play from those two different positions.

It appears that your role is that of a playmaker. In the previous match against Russia, and leading up to the match against Algeria, do you feel there's enough support in midfield and going forward?
I think it depends on how the match pans out. For example, if we have good build-up play from the defence and our players gain confidence with the ball, then it will give me more options in different positions. If our opponents put us under pressure and our defenders are struggling to cope, I will try to use the space behind their lines. Furthermore, I try to make sure that our defensive midfielders don't feel isolated in their defensive play.

Hong Myungbo always emphasizes teamwork. As a captain, what does teamwork mean to you?
Aside from the time with Hong Myungbo, my time at the Asian Cup was an honourable moment and we had great matches. But after the tournament, I don't have any memories about the team. With that in mind, I will try to do my best and be willing to make sacrifices for the team. I think it will increase my pride in the team. To feel that pride, it makes you try your best. That is what sets our team apart. Even outside of football, that is something that will remain as a good memory. I think that is the idea behind Hong Myungno's concept of teamwork.

Singers’ managers are often highly broad in skills, but being shrouded behind is their job.

In dramas or movies, managers are often being underrated, as such, there is a general bad perception on those who are into this profession. That said, a manager is the person who planned activities for artists, and worked diligently for the growth of the company.

Prior to its flotation, Cube Entertainment’s Vice President Noh HyunTae is one of them. He started his profession in SM entertainment and is one of those elite managers that produced outstanding artists. He is the mastermind behind 20 general managers, who manages artists, broadcasts, media promotions and various activities, with the aim to achieve 27 billion Won sales revenue for Cube this year.

Two more pictures )

Jung Joonyoung will be coming back on the 26th of June with his 2nd mini-album, titled “Teenager”, and thus he has released his 3rd teaser on the 21st.

In the teaser picture, Jung Joonyoung is closing his eyes shut tight, and a white piece of paper covering his mouth with a large red “X” on it.

CJ E&M stated that Jung Joonyoung’s previous teaser images also showed hints as to what his songs will be meaning to convey, as well as what kind of vibe the album will give off, and thus this third teaser has got fans wondering as to what message it is trying to get across.

What are your thoughts on what this image might mean?
