Core Contents Media’s CEO Kim Kwang Soo has recently lost his mother.
Kim Kwang Soo’s mother’s mortuary was held at the Kyung Hee Medical Center in Seoul.
Sources from the Kyung Hee Medical Center spoke with TV Report on February 2 and said, “We cannot tell you any specific personal information such as the time or the cause of death. However, we can tell you that the mortuary was prepared on February 2 and that she will be buried on February 4.”
Kim Kwang Soo’s Core Contents Media represents hit artists such as Jo Sung Mo, SG Wannabe, Davichi, The SeeYa, T-ara, F-ve Dolls and SPEED.
Core Contents Media recently revealed their new female artist, Shannon, who will be debuting in May. They have also announced SPEED’s comeback in February.

Great news for SM fans as the agency announced the return of SM The Ballad, adding yet another strong comeback in the month of February.
On February 3, SM sources spoke with My Daily and said, “SM The Ballad is planning to come back in February. They are currently in the last stages of preparation.”
SM The Ballad is a project group without fixed members but has a rotation of artists who specialize in vocals and have a strong presence in the ballad genre.
The SM source added, “The members of the past will not be in the group but this time, members from Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x) and EXO will participate.”
Previously, SM The Ballad containing Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, SHINee’s Jonhgyun, Trax‘s Jay and Jino released “Miss You” in 2010.

After the successful project with Mad Clown, Soyou will make another collaboration with JungGiGo as a new unit.
The duet is called “Some”. The song is said to be a medium-tempo song which has a unique and romantic feel, and it blends well with both of their voices.
This is the first project ever since JungGiGo signed with Starship X, and also producer Kim Do Hoon, lyricist Min Yeon Jae and director Zany Bros will in involve in the production of this duet, so it’s receiving high expectation from many people.
The song will be released on February 7th.

Super Junior’s Choi Siwon has been cast as the lead actor of an upcoming Chinese drama The Heirs.
SM Entertainment told Newsen on February 3, “Choi Siwon has been cast as the protagonist of a Chinese drama. He will be heading over to China soon to start filming.”
The Heirs (translated) is a drama about the competition to inherit a huge fortune from a wealthy grandfather. It is not an official remake of the Korean drama of the same name.
Choi Siwon will be acting as the hidden grandson who competes for the fortune, and form a love line with actress Kan Qing Zi.

C-Clown is ready to make a comeback in February.
On February 3, C-Clown’s agency, Yedang Entertainment, stated, “C-Clown is releasing a new song on February 13.”
In the picture released along with the news of their comeback, the C-Clown members are dressed in hip-hop style clothing, showing off a concept quite different than their previous ones.
The group currently has fans in numerous countries, including Venezuela, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Ukraine, Algeria and more, despite its lack of global promotions. Many are wondering whether the new song will also be able to capture the hearts of its global fans.
Meanwhile, C-Clown is currently working on the final steps of album production.

JYJ‘s agency C-JeS lashed out against several netizens who have left extremely harmful comments on Kim Jaejoong‘s social media account.
C-JeS also posted a message on their Facebook, calling out the six netizens on Twitter for their harmful comments. 13-year-old actress Kim Sae Ron has recently been involved in a smoking and drinking controversy.
A certain netizen posted a message and photo on an online community forum titled “A photo that a girl who drank with Kim Sae Ron posted on her Kakao Story.” The poster of the photo claimed that Kim Sae Ron smoked and drank as well.
There were two photos that seemed to be the problem. In one photo, Kim Sae Ron is sitting on a sofa with her friends and in front of them, there were bottles of wine and wine glasses on the coffee table. In another photo, Kim Sae Ron is in a karaoke room singing and a pack of cigarettes was seen on the table.

A representative from Wellmade StarM revealed on February 3 that Hwayoung was on her way to meet an acquaintance the day before when her car got hit from behind when passing through a park in the Gangnam district.
She received small bruises from the small accident and the doctor recommend that she should rest for a week. She was hospitalized on February 3.
A Wellmade StarM representative stated, “Hwayoung’s injury is not big. However, she will not be able to attend all of her schedules due to being hospitalized.”
Meanwhile, Hwayoung’s contract ended with previous label Core Contents Media in 2012 and signed an exclusive contract with Wellmade StarM last month in order to pursue her dreams as an actress.
