idk how to feel about this? i feel like a lot of subtleties are lost in translation, but the way the men talk about gain's liberated sexuality and daring image makes me feel funny. I can see that they're keeping it light-hearted, but i cant shake off the tone of judgment??

i adore her for breaking barriers in female empowerment, and im expecting great things. i hope this album will be truer to her vision like step 2/4
agreed, the way some of these men were talking about her also made me feel a bit weird. and yeah it seems like the company has definitely embraced this kind of image for Gain. It makes her stand out in any case. one thing I have always liked about gain is that she is sexy and empowering at the same time (whereas with a lot of current k-pop acts it only feels like the first).

At first, I kinda found it amusing b/c they seem so interigued by Ga-In, but as I kept watching and when Yoon Jong Shin was all like "she's still young so i hope this won't hurt her" or whatever he said, I just thought "why?" Idk, I just feel that it's awesome that Ga-In is comfortable enough to do this stuff. I think that's why I like Brown Eyed Girls and just women in general who aren't afraid to be who they are, enjoy / embrace their sexuality and just be who they are. It's still hard for me to not be afraid to wear what I want to wear or speak up for myself at times and I'm in my 20s! So the fact that she can do it and she is doing it is awesome.
The guys were the best part because they really sold the idea of the teaser. These aren't randoms talking about her, these are people she knows and worked with who were told the point of the teaser and played along, but played along the best way, with a bit of truth. It's almost trolling.

This was actually really interesting and was an excellent was to promote Truth or Dare. IU was really charming here. I felt some kind of way about how some of the men were describing her, saying it was dangerous for a women to be wet and so and so. But I'm glad GaIn gives no shits and does what she wants. I'm glad she owns it.
