It was a long time ago, but this story was about a girl and a boy child and some how they met a beautiful noble woman and she touched the girl and then the girl had a shard of ice magically in her heart or she touched the boy and he went to her cold palace with frozen guards..
It's like extra vague, but I don't think it ended well.
