Last month, it was announced that Orange Caramel, After School’s subunit made up of Raina, Lizzy and Nana, would be making a comeback on September 12 with their first studio album. Having first debuted in 2010 with “Magic Girl,” the group has released singles since then and has received lots of love for their unique charms.
In a previous statement, agency officials revealed that the group had already finished recording their title song and they would be recording for their music video. With excitement for the girls’ return building, the image teasers have finally been revealed. The three image teasers released show Raina, Lizzy and Nana in elegant dresses, with the simplicity of the photos emphasizing their flawless beauty, a change from their previous concepts.

Braun speaks of “breaking down barriers” and to commemorate the occasion, he and Psy take a shot of soju and shake hands.

This congratulatory video was made to celebrate the academy's 10th anniversary and the 25th/26th classes' graduation. At the end of the video, the students' parents make surprise appearances as well.

A recent spate of heinous crimes against children and women has ignited calls for the execution of the offenders, which Korea has shied away from for the past 15 years.
The brutal incidents, including the rape last week of a 7-year-old girl, have shocked the entire country and forced the government to strengthen related measures, including a wider use of chemical castration and a stepped-up clampdown on child pornography.
The Justice Ministry is considering extending the application of chemical castration to sex offenders who commit crimes against those under the age of 19. The current law is applicable in cases where the victims are under age 16.
But calls are growing that such measures are not enough. Proponents of the death penalty argue that murderers gave up their human rights when they trampled on those of the victims, stressing that taxpayer money should not be wasted on supporting their lives.

2NE1 has become the first girl group to rank on Billboard‘s Current Box Score.
The ladies of 2NE1 recently held an independent concert at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on August 24th. 6,680 of the 6,714 tickets put on sale were sold, bringing in a gross sales of $653,716, and ranking at #29 on Billboard’s Current Box Score.

After revealing their teaser photos for Hyosung and Ji Eun, SECRET has released the teaser photo for ‘Poison‘ featuring Zinger!
Much like the previous two teaser photos, Zinger is also seen sporting a classy red dress and a matching hair piece with bold statement earrings, adding to the anticipation for the group’s new transformation.
As previously mentioned by their stylist, the group’s new look is “based off the 1940′s British ‘lady look’ and ‘espionage look’”
Stay tuned for more teasers to come as the release of ‘Poison’ on September 13th!

Shinhwa's Hyesung is set to hold a special event for his fans and will go on a two day summer vacation with them in South Korea. Shin Hyesung's special event titled "2012 The Summer Holidays with S.H.S in South Korea" will be held at the Phoenix Park in the Gangwon Province on September 7th to 9th.
Liveworks Company revealed today that four hundred fans from South Korea and Japan were invited to the event, with Hyesung taking the important role in creating activities to be closer with his fans. It was also revealed that outdoor games and picnics were being planned, along with Hyesung's special performances in the form of a mini-concert.
The representative also added that they were overwhelmed with the fans' interest and response for this year's event and have worked hard with Shin Hyesung to make it special and memorable.
After finishing his activities with Shinhwa early this year, Shin Hyesung is reported to be preparing for a solo album expected to be released this Fall.

Girls’ Generation’s Japanese fansite has released the official schedule for Girls’ Generation’s second Japanese tour, which will visit six different cities for a total of fourteen concerts between February 9th and and April 10th. Tickets for the concerts will cost 9,500 yen and will also include penlights. Registration for Girls’ Generation’s fanclub in Japan has also begun, and members of the fanclub will receive priority applications for tickets to the concert tour.

You don't even have to be around in K-Pop for that long before you realize that Korean reporters are a piss poor example of journalism. Every single Korean entertainment article you read, whether translated or not, basically comes directly from the mouths of the companies involved. By now, you're aware of select entertainment companies manipulating the media or even paying up certain outlets to release articles in their favor, but what you don't probably realize is that it's not only those select companies, but everyone.

Not really news that reporters are skeevy--you need look no further than the terrible intrusive videos of Kyuhyun after Super Junior's car accident, no to mention what you hear in news articles about hounding of witnesses and the like. I didn't actually know that the kind of fluff pieces that fill allkpop are from sources that claim to be actual news sites--if it walks like a blogger and flails like a blogger and bitches like a blogger....

BtoB is making their comeback with their second mini album, ‘Press Play‘!
The group is scheduled to reveal their album along with their title track, “Wow“, on September 12th, and ahead of the release, a teaser image has been released through various social media sites.
The pop art teaser image containing the lower portion of a BtoB member’s face and the “Wow” formed by the hands and the mouth, is all said to be the members’ own idea.
“Wow” is said to be of “new jack swing” style, which was popular during the ’90s, and incorporates the solid vocal and rap skills of the members.
The comeback was hinted at earlier through the photo of Sungjae and the stars of ’90s based sitcom, ‘Reply 1997‘, Seo In Guk and A Pink‘s Eunji (article below), as the latter two mimicked the pose seen in the teaser image.
