YG Says 2NE1 is Not Pretty. Look Who's Talking.

YG (Yang Hyun Suk) made people laugh with his words about 2NE1's looks. On May 21, he appeared on SBS "Healing Camp," where he talked about many topics. He shared untold stories about the years when he was part of Seo Taiji and Boys, Big Bang's incidents, results of the creation of 2NE1's "I Am the Best," and the reason why he became a rich landowner in Hongdae. He also revealed how he secretly dated his wife, Lee Eun Joo, for nine years and along with that, he showed images of his daughter and son.

On this day, YG said, "People say that YG doesn't look at appearances, however, I do look at the looks." He continued and made people laugh by saying, "Instead, I like cool people more than pretty people. To tell you the truth, 2NE1 isn't pretty in my eyes. They aren't that tall either but they are cool. Look at CL and Minzy, they are chic. I think it's my inclination."

Continuously, YG revealed, "There are positives as much as there are negatives. Most people point out negatives before positives. When others highlight negatives, I make them see the positives."

Singer Son Dam Bi, who has been modeling for the athletic apparel brand DESCENTE, has revealed her ‘Summer beach training’ photoshoot! On Set photos recently surfaced on Twitter and now the official photos have been revealed.

The photoshoot was a joint project with Men’s Health Magazine and Son Dam Bi was able to show her sexy body.

In one of the photos, Son Dam Bi is wearing DESCENTE’s graphic bikini top with simple black shorts. In another photo, with a neon zip-up jacket and a pink shoulder bag, she completed the ‘beach look’ perfect for the hot summer.

The Korean Men's Association is at it once again by filing a petition to ban Baek Ji Young's newest track, "Good Boy" from being circulated. They claim that the lyrics in the song are degrading to men. This isn't their first time filing a petition against a mainstream work as they have tried to get the film "You're My Pet" out of the theaters in the past.

Girls’ Generation member Seohyun proved she had the brains to go with her beautiful looks.

On the May 18th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘100 Million Quiz Show‘, Seohyun solved a number of different quiz questions.

Not only did she give the right answers, she calmly accompanied her responses with thorough explanations.

Seohyun surprised everyone by answering each question correctly, and in the end was crowned the MVP of the program.

CROSS GENE reveals 3rd member Yongseok

Six member group CROSS GENE is slowly shaping up as they have now officially revealed a third member, Yongseok.

Yongseok was earlier mentioned as his name was already revealed through the full line-up picture and their official website but a concept picture featuring the member wasn't revealed up until earlier today. Though more information about Yongseok hasn't been revealed, fans have been able to figure out that he was born on January 8th, 1993; making him the second youngest member of the line-up.

The newly revealed member will be joining Takuya, Shin, Sangmin, J.G and Casper. Two of which, Takuya and Shin, have already had their own concept pictures revealed earlier this week.

CROSS GENE was also revealed to have a line-up consisting out of three Korean members, two Chinese members and one Japanese member; further explaining their group name to be a "crossing of various genes."

More details on their debut date, release or group concept haven't been released yet. CROSS GENE was formed under Amuse Korea, a subcompany of Amuse in Japan.

JJ Project discusses the various lessons they received as trainees under JYP Entertainment

JYP Entertainment‘s hot new rookie group JJ Project participated in an interview with Newsen where they briefly talked about their life as JYPE trainees. As many of you know by now, both JB and Jr. were chosen as the top winners from JYP’s 5th Auditions back in 2009, and the two ended up debuting together as a team.

JB said during the interview, “Up until now, I had a goal that I wanted to achieve so living as a trainee wasn’t so hard. The hardest thing was that I used to live very freely, but as a trainee, I had to adhere to lesson and practice schedules. It is obvious for this kind of career, but i think it was hard because I lived very freely prior to.”

Jr. added, “Because I am the youngest out of three, I was always extremely loved, so living away from my family was very difficult and lonely. I didn’t have many friends in Seoul so I only went back and forth between the office and school everyday.”

Lee Mi Sook's former agency spent millions on male escort, allegedly

Actress Lee Mi-sook’s former agency, The Contents Media, revealed on Tuesday that it had paid large amounts of money to a male escort Lee was seeing some time ago in order to uphold Lee’s image in public.

During a court proceeding that took place at the Seoul High Court, the agency said its former talent was in a relationship with a male escort 17 years her junior.

In order to keep the man from talking, the agency said that it bribed him with millions of won.

The agency has remained tight-lipped about the ordeal, saying it won’t make an official statement until the final court proceeding that will take place on June 28.

The Contents Media sued Lee back in November of last year for breaching the exclusive contract she signed.

The court agreed that Lee was guilty and ordered her to pay 100 million won ($85,349) in penalties.

However, The Contents Media said that the agency was owed at least double the amount of the fine and appealed for a second trial.

G.I. Joe: Return of the Kimchi Ninja Pushed Back to March 2013

When the plug was pulled on Megaupload, it was as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror as downloads were suspended. Today news broke that G.I. Joe: Retaliation will be pushed back from June 29^th to March 2013 and tens of voices suddenly cried out in agony.

Conspiracy theories abound as a source close to the movie, but not authorized to speak officially, has said this move was to convert the picture into 3D¹. There is also speculation that the delay is due to the incredible box office performance of The Avengers². But others think is that this is all a ploy so The Rock can cook something during Wrestlemania 29 next spring³.

Regardless of why the movie is delayed, next month will no longer hold the promise of glorious projections of Lee Byung Hun's abs at our local cinemas. It will be a tough summer without his charms but we will survive... and probably watch The Good, the Bad, the Weird a lot.

B.A.P Bunny Matoki opens up Facebook page

The Facebook page of B.A.P‘s official mascot Matoki has opened.

The Facebook page contains photos of the Matoki bunnies and it seems they’re starting a new “Earthventure” comic series. They also shared a photo of bunny Shishimato with Bang Yong Guk and a short video clip of Shishimato introducing himself.

There’s some potential for Matoki merchandise in the future, there could be some demand from B.A.P fans who would love to get their hands on Matoki merchandise. You can check out the Facebook page here.

Beyonce's "Single Ladies" choreographer choreographed T-ara's new song "DAY BY DAY"

Beyonce's "Single Ladies" choreographer Jonte Moaning has taken on the choreography for T-ara's new album.

In the past, Jonte has choreographed Miss A's "Touch". T-ara will reveal a new song "DAY BY DAY" on July 7th, but before then they will release a dance teaser.

T-ara's officials said, "T-ara's dance team YAMA&HOTCHICKS went to New York recently for five days and six nights to learn the choreography of 'DAY BY DAY' with Jonte. After learning, they'll fly back to Korea to organize and teach T-ara the choreography." T-ara will release a teaser video for their new album featuring Jonte on May 24th at 3:00 KST via GomTV.

Meanwhile, T-ara will be promoting as eight members for their new album and then later this year become nine.

Currently, T-ara is preparing for their concerts in Japan and Thailand as well as their fanclub opening ceremony on July 14th.

Details on B1A4's Ignition repackage

After revealing image and video teasers for each member, B1A4 will finally be releasing their album, "The B1A4 Ignition Special Edition," on May 24th at midnight KST. The title track was composed by member Jinyoung and will be called “Sleep Well Good Night.” The lyrics were written by both Jinyoung and Baro. 

The repackaged album will have 15 tracks total with a new song, “Because Of You,” written and composed by all the members.

B1A4’s teaser videos have caught the attention of many fans, and many praised their realistic aspect. Gongchan’s video teaser in particular surprised many viewers with the false ending.

With the digital release of their album on May 24th, B1A4 will begin promoting “Sleep Well Good Night” on KBS’s Music Bank this week. The physical album will be available in stores on May 29th.

Viki announces official withdrawal from Dal Shabet for solo career

On May 24th, Happy Face Entertainment announced, “Leader Viki, who began as a member of Dal Shabet on January 4th, 2011, will be withdrawing from the group for a solo career.” Viki also wrote her final post on the group’s official fancafe explaining her withdrawal.

CCM to take strong legal action against the foreign source of leaked choreography videos

Girl group T-ara's new song has been illegally leaked on a video site and Core Contents Media has announced they will be taking action against the foreign source of the leak.

On the morning of the 24th, they said, "A video with the choreography of T-ara's song, along with a GangKiz songwhich is supposed to be released on July was leaked on a video site recently, and currently we are investigating." They also said they will be bringing an international lawsuit against the guilty parties who have leaked and participated in the spread of the video.

The video in question is a practice clip of dancers studying the choreography with an international choreographer. Along with the dance moves, the song was also captured in the clip and subsequently leaked.

The only ones supposed to be privy to this video, according to a representative from CCM, were Japanese and American entertainment officials.

Currently CCM is preparing both GangKiz's new album and T-ara's comeback.
