On May 22nd, a broadcasting representative told Newsen, "Yoon Seung Ah and Donghae will appear together on 'Miss Panda and Porcupine.' The airing time will be confirmed in the future. They are currently filming."
Channel A's 'Miss Panda and Porcupine' is a romantic comedy about baking. Yoon Seung Ah gained much fame after appearing in MBC's 'Moon Embraces the Sun' while Donghae appeared in his first k-drama, 'It's Ok, Daddy's Daughter back in 2010 and his second drama in the Taiwanese adaptation of the Japanese manga, 'Skip Beat.'
'Miss Panda and Porcupine' will air its first episode on July.

I say any drama that features Donghae and Jinhyuk together again is a win. Mokpo boys represent. Their bromance is pretty awesome though. And this drama seems kinda low-budget at this point? Apparently, Donghae's Chinese fans heard about him missing lunch due to being busy filming, so they made him a care package that included a freaking macbook, lunch for him and the cast and crew, etc. He even tweeted about it.
OT: I finally saw this man at SMTownLA in Anaheim and he's gorgeous as he's adorable. There were Donghae fanboys that got caught by the live screamcams. Apparently, Donghae brings the boys and girls to the yard. And yes he kisscamed and I can't believe someone got this because security was a bitch.

Before debut, the interest towards them with the name ‘Park Jin Young’s junior’, ‘JYP Jackpot’ was very big. JYP had ambitiously prepared the male duo group JJ Project consisting of JB (Im Jae Bum /19) and Jr. (Park Jin Young /19) whom will finally show their faces full of nervousness and happiness on the 24th.

Singer Jang Woo Hyuk has recently set off for the States in preparation for a new idol project!
On May 21st, representatives of his agency revealed that Jang Woo Hyuk will be touring around the world to hold auditions for an upcoming idol project that many suspect to be the makings of a ‘second H.O.T.‘. The auditions started in Taiwan on the 19th, and will be traveling to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York in the States.
On the 26th, he’ll be at the Oxford Hotel in Los Angeles, at the Lux SF Studio in San Francisco on June 1st, and in New York on the 3rd.
The idol project concept has been described to a five member male idol group with September as the debut date. Most of the project’s concepts, music videos, and member line-up have already been completed.
Jang Woo Hyuk plans to use his years of experience in H.O.T., J.T.L, and production of his own solo albums on the project, which also includes a $3 million investment.
Following his auditions in the US, he’ll be traveling to Japan and China.

For the June edition of ‘Marie Claire‘ magazine, actress Go Ara will be showing her influence as a ‘socialtainer (social entertainer)’ by raising awareness for a good cause.
Go Ara will be participating as the head director for the ‘Save the Sea‘ campaign and will be working with three artists to raise awareness about the need to preserve our oceans. The campaign is run by cosmetics brand Amore Pacific‘s marine-inspired brand, ‘Lirikos’.
Collaborating with Go Ara will be underwater photographer ‘Waijin‘, sand artist and magician ‘Noeul‘, and illustrator ‘Draw‘.
Together, the campaign will be putting on display several ocean-related art works to help raise awareness, in addition to participating in interviews about the cause.
Go Ara’s interview can be found in the magazine’s June edition.

BTOB to release special Asia album

Rookie group BTOB will be making their grand entrance to Asian music market!
According to BTOB’s agency Cube Entertainment, BTOB will be releasing an Asia special edition album in Korea on May 23 and then begin selling in Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Following the aforementioned countries, the album will hit stores in Malaysia, Indonesia and China in order.
The special album will include their single, “I Stole Those Lips”, which has been released as digital single and used in jTBC’s sitcom, ‘I Live in Cheongdamdong’.
Meanwhile, BtoB will perform in Singapore’s Clarke Quay on May 24 for the ‘Music Masters’ global conference.

On May 22nd, it was officially announced that Baek Ah Yeon and Park Jae Hyung, who were TOP 10 finalists in SBS‘ ‘K-Pop Star‘, will be signing with JYP Entertainment.
Yesterday, on May 21st, it was also reported that ‘K-Pop Star’ winner Park Ji Min signed an exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment. JYPE is already in the process of preparing Ji Min’s debut project, however, Park Jae Hyung and Baek Ah Yeon will become one of JYPE’s trainees and debut once they become more ready.
JYPE stated, “Our company has noticed the potential and talents that both Baek Ah Yeon and Park Jae Hyung have within them and has decided to select them as part of our family. Both will go through our systematic training system and fans can look forward to their growth.”
It has also been reported that for now, JYPE will not be recruiting anymore trainees from ‘K-Pop Star’ besides Park Ji Min, Park Jae Hyung, and Baek Ah Yeon.

CROSS GENE reveals 2nd member Shin

After officially revealing Japanese member Takuya earlier this month, upcoming group CROSS GENE has revealed its second member Shin.
As mentioned in the previous CROSS GENE article, Shin is actually a young actor called Shin Wonho. He's starred in "Bachelor's Vegetable Store" and will be featured in the upcoming drama "Big", next to miss A's Suzy. Together with Takuya, he was also in a Japanese short movie called RUN60. The movie will be getting its full drama spin-off later this year as nine episodes are set to air. Shin was born on October 23th, 1991; making him the second oldest of the rumored line-up.
Earlier this year CROSS GENE was revealed as a project group between Japan and Korea called Project-A, but it seems they're finally set on debuting soon under Amuse Korea. More details on their debut, release and members are expected to be revealed soon.

On May 22nd, Sandara Park uploaded the photo above on her me2day and wrote, “Daebak! The newest fashion item that Dara recommends for this summer! Ta-da!!!!!!!! It’s a ‘doughnut bracelet’.”
