Kind of unexpected though, for some reason I was thinking more along the lines of that little blonde dancer boy and that girl dancer. Or even Kim Woosung or Kim Nayoon. Now that SM, YG, and JYPE are done, I wonder if any of the remaining contestants will be picked up by other companies.

It's nice that these K-pop Star contestants got signed to YG and JYP but damn it must suck for their current trainees. Now they have to compete against new trainees who will most definitely get to debut.

Godddddd I love that cover of The Boys. Way batter than the original. Everyone sounded amazing; I would even rank Lee Michelle to be my least favourite vocals among the 4. Does this mean Hayi is joining the other girls and taking Jimin's place? Awkward.

Awesome. I was actually hoping for this. I didn't know about Su Pearls or anything, but I was hoping YG would put Lee Michelle and Lee Hayi in a group for their debut. Those two have beautiful vocals, but from what I've seen there are 2 problems. Lee Michelle is obviously part black in a in a somewhat xenophobic SK and Lee Hayi has almost no charisma. If those 2 went solo, I'm afraid their careers would fade off into dusty oblivion. People would ignore Michelle purely because she's black, and after one round of promotions, YG would cut his losses and probably put her on a permanent back-burner. Same with Hayi. They would probably think she has good vocals, but that she was a bit boring like a Bom 2.0 or a Gummy 2.0 but way less interesting. Just like that 2 talents get overlooked. As a girl group who has already proven they mesh voices together well, this is perfect. They can't be ignored easily, and in the future they can split to do solo promotions while inbetween group activities. That gives YG twice the income and gives the artist twice the opportunity to shine. This is a good good thing if he really goes through with it.
