B2ST‘s Doojoon and actor Lee Hyun Woo have been selected as MCs for JTBC‘s new music program, ‘Music On Top‘.
Fans are curious to see the chemistry between the two, as Doojoon has previously showcased his witty personality on various entertainment programs, and Hyun Woo who starred in ‘God of Study‘ is now being called the ’2nd Yoo Seung Ho‘.
Hyun Woo who will be serving as an MC for the very first time and remarked, “I’m a little concerned, as this is my first time being an MC on an entertainment program, but I’m also excited as this is a new challenge for me. I will work hard to lead the show as efficiently as I can.”
JTBC’s ‘Music On Top’ airs its first show on December 8th at 6:25PM.

The singer ‘Baby Soul’ (19·Lee Soojung)’s first digital single ‘No Better Than Strangers’ got caught under KBS’ review.
KBS forbid Baby Soul’s single title track ‘No Better Than Strangers’ to broadcast because its lyrics included words that belittled men.
‘You can’t even do this you jerk, am I asking for something big? You can’t even do this you wicked man, you should at least pretend’ is the problematic part.
Her company Woollim entertainement declared “It’s only realistic lyrics relating the feelings of a woman resentful toward a man, we didn’t intend to belittle men at all” and “It’s confusing but we won’t be changing the lyrics”.
‘No Better Than Strangers’ was written by Sweetune who also participated in the groups ‘Infinite’ and ‘Kara”s album. It received a lot of attention since the singer Wheesung featured in it before going to the army.

Koreans used to joke about being the "shrimp among whales" -- stuck between the cultural behemoths of China and Japan.
Over the past decade, however, a massive Korean (Hallyu) wave of pop music exports appears to have subsumed the whales.
Newly crowned MTV Iggy 2011 Best New Band 2NE1 represent this global music phenomenon, despite the fact that it's still relatively unknown in the West. An umbrella term for just about any musical style, hallmarks of K-pop include precision dancing, high production values, a motley array of acronyms for group names, and squeaky-clean all-boy/all-girl groups that feel like throwbacks to the late-'90s Disney NSync/Backstreet Boy factory. Only, somehow...better.

Rookie group AA has announced that they will be releasing a mini-album in January. They have reportedly collected 50 songs for review, and are in the process of carefully hand-selecting the track that will make their way onto the new album. The boys are also reportedly working on a song with famous Japanese producer, Daishi Dance.
An AA representative informed OSEN during a phone interview December 2nd, “The members will be showing their fans a completely different side of them with this new mini-album. They are diligently going through each of the fifty songs.”
AA will release the mini-album in Korea and hold a fan meeting shortly thereafter. Afterwards, the members will begin to prepare for their official Japanese debut. The members are reportedly working out the final details on a contract with a major Japanese music label.
Daishi Dance who is currently working with the boys remarked, “AA is different from other boy groups. They have their own unique style and their music is also popular. Their addictive and intense, masculine beats paired with their sexy choreography will be enough to capture the public,” expressing high expectations for the group.
AA is currently promoting their debut song, “Because I’m Crazy“.

SHINee's Minho will make his first attempt at comedic acting.
Minho has been confirmed for the new SBS sitcom "Salamander Guru,"which will air early next year. He will play the role of Min Hyuk, a genius hacker who has a fear of people, and will act alongside Lim Won Hee and Oh Dal Soo.

It’s just been reported that After School’s Kahi will be joining the cast of ‘Dream High 2′ as one of the instructors of Kirin Arts High School!
A source revealed to Star News, “Kahi will show you her transformation into an actress for the first time through this drama… She will try her hardest to show you the best that she has to offer.”
Kahi will be acting alongside J.Y. Park, Choi Yeo Jin, and Kwon Hae Hyo as the school’s staff members. She (and the other teachers) will be in charge of guiding the students, T-ara’s Jiyeon, 2AM’s Jinwoon, Kang Sora, and SISTAR’s Hyorin.

Crown J has received his verdict from the Seoul Central District Court on the charges of assaulting his former manager, ‘Seo’.
To quickly recap, the prosecution demanded 1 year imprisonment for the singer last month, as they insisted that Crown J met with his then-manager, Mr. Seo (31), and physically assaulted him with four of his friends, forcing him to sign a memo that required him to pay for a yacht worth over $90,000 USD.
However, Crown J insisted that the signing of the memo was a completely voluntary choice from Mr Seo’s side. He denied all charges, stating that he did not make physical contact with his former manager, nor did he threaten him to sign papers.
After considering their arguments, the court reached a verdict today which stated that they found Crown J guilty on the charges of forcing Seo to sign over the yacht. However, they deemed him as innocent on the charges of violence, confinement, and kidnapping.
Crown J and the two other defendants were sentenced to a 8-month jail term suspended up to 2 years. This means he will not have to go to jail as long as he keeps up a good record for 2 years. However, if he lands himself in trouble again, he will have to add the 8 months on top of the sentence he receives.

T-ara will released the repackage version of their mini album "Black Eyes" early next month.
The repackage will contain "Cry Cry" and the other songs on "Black Eyes" (excluding the "Cry Cry" remixes) and two new songs including "Lovey-Dovey" for a total of six songs.

On the ground and weaving through foreign streets, Seoul is a city like no other. If you’re thinking generic grey-glass skyscrapers and neon lights flooding a typical fast-paced modern Asian city, you’d be wrong. UNESCO has designated it a City of Design. There are no limits to creativity, something obviously encouraged and applied wherever you look. Even though the buildings compete for environmental merit and artistic flair, it’s not the most creative outlet for Koreans. That would be the “art of dining out.”
More than 22 million people live in and around the capital and they all like to hit a local joint after work.
“Koreans never invite people home for dinner. The house is very private but they love to socialize. And drink.” My filmmaker friend Jon, who’s lived in Seoul for the last four years, has adapted well. It’s only been a few hours since I arrived at his doorstep. The friends have been called and a meal arranged at the Fish Market.

Children from the Sullivan School in Seoul, South Korea
A McGregor man’s English class of South Korean children have gained a bit of national media attention thanks to the Ramones.
Peter Strutt, a 29-year-old international English teacher, has been teaching his young students at the Sullivan School, a private academy in the Sinsa Dong district in Seoul, to sing popular American tunes for friends and family watch back at home. Thanks to colleague Noah Bergman, the online world is discovering his clever way of teaching the language.
