MINHO ATTEMPTING AT COMEDIC ACTING

SHINee's Minho will make his first attempt at comedic acting.

Minho has been confirmed for the new SBS sitcom "Salamander Guru,"which will air early next year. He will play the role of Min Hyuk, a genius hacker who has a fear of people, and will act alongside Lim Won Hee and Oh Dal Soo.

Sources from the sitcom stated, "We know that Minho is practicing his acting skills lately. Minho will play a hacker that intervenes and controls Lim Won Hee and Oh Dal Soo, who are part of a 2-person robber band."

Minho has already played a role in the KBS drama, "Pianist" and was praised for his acting. He played the role of Oh Jae, a twenty-year old piano genuis, who developed a romance with Han Ji Hye. 

Sources from the sitcom said, "Because Minho showed much wit and sense in many of the variety programs, we have high hopes for him in this upcoming sitcom. Although it will be his first attempt at comedic acting, we believe that he will be able to play his part well."

"Salamander Guru" will be the first sitcom in five years after the SBS sitcom, "Mackerel Run." The sitcom is about a robber duo impersonating a guru and the diverse series of events that happen over the course of time. It will begin airing January of next year.
