Actor Oh Jeong-se is getting married to his childhood partner after 19 years of being in a relationship.

He made an appearance on MBC's "Nollowa" on the 17th and was asked if he was still single to which he replied, "I have been married for 5 years. I married by partner from grade 6 after 19 years of being in a relationship".

"We never said anything about being a couple but our feelings for each other that developed while we were partners lead us to where we are now".

When Lee Ha-nuel asked, "You haven't met anyone during the 19 years you were seeing your wife?" he curtly said, "No".

He continued, "When we were in 6th grade, I asked my partner after a long hesitation, 'Will you marry me?' to which she said yes and that was my propose".

Yoo Jae-seok asked, "What will you do if you had a chance to go back to grade school on a time machine?" and Oh Jeong-se replied, "I will propose to the same person again".

Meanwhile, Kim Joo-hyeok, Lee Si-yeong, Lee Yoon-ji, Kong Hyeong-jin and Oh Jeong-se appeared on this days episode of "Nollowa" and revealed many incidents that happened because of their timid personalities.

Ex-teacher accuses 'Dogani' school of murdering students

A former teacher at a special school for the deaf, which has been criticized over a sexual assault and rape scandal, claimed two students there were abused to death and buried secretly about 50 years ago.

The former teacher, Kim Yeong-il, 71, said Monday the two incidents took place at Gwangju Inhwa School in 1964.

Jeong Seok-won joins "Ojakgyo Brothers"... kiss with UEE

Actor Jeong Seok-won will act along with UEE.

According to his management, Jeong Seok-won has been newly cast as a skilled movie producer Kim Jae-ha in the KBS 2TV drama "Ojakgyo Brothers".

Kim Jae-ha will form a three way relationship with Baek Ja-eun (UEE) and Hwang Tae-hee (Joo Won), adding more spice to the tension.

Jeong Seok-won said, "I am glad to join a drama I've been watching in my free time. As much as it is popular and loved by many, I will work hard to live up to the expectations".

Meanwhile, Jeong Seok-won will start shooting "Ojakgyo Brother's" for the first time on the 18th at Kyeonggido Namyangju.

After some more crawling through the Korean underground rock scene, another few recommendations are discovered. The earlier articles cover a variety of artists in a number of different rock genres, ranging from the most unknown bands to Korean rock superstars.

This time around won't be different, as I've compiled yet another list including five different rock bands for you to check out and get to know. Despite the Korean rock scene being essentially completely underground, resulting in very few bands ending up in the spotlight, it houses an incredible amount of talented bands, waiting for fans of rock music to be discovered.

We start this month's rock editorial with punk rock group Rocket Diary, who're planning to make their return to the rock scene. Following, we turn to Vanilla Unity, female fronted Cherry Filter, post-hardcore band GoldRush, and indie band The Finnn.

Popular Korean actress Kim Tae-hee is in the middle of a heated, Dokdo-related controversy in Japan.

Recently, the actress was cast as the main character on Japanese TV drama “99 Days with a Star,” the first episode of which will air this Sunday in Japan.

Last Sunday, a group of netizens took to the streets to demand that Fuji TV, the network showing the series, remove Kim from the show because she is “anti-Japan.” The protesters shouted that it is unthinkable for a Japanese TV network to hire an anti-Japan actress from Korea.

The group even posted a YouTube video showing a clip from a Japanese TV station in which netizens protest against the actress.

The netizens’ attack on the actress stems from her comments that the Dokdo islets are Korean territory, not Japanese. In 2005, Kim and her brother were featured on a TV program that showed them visiting Switzerland. On the program, she is shown wearing a pro-Korea Dokdo campaign T-shirt and distributing related CDs to locals.

The Fuji TV drama series, which stars Kim and 2PM member Taecyeon, centers on a secret affair between a high-profile Korean celebrity and a Japanese bodyguard.

The Boss aka D-Na to come out with a new Korean song!

It has been announced through the organizer's official facebook page,
that boy group The Boss will be performing their Korean comeback song on
their Taiwanese fanmeeting at the end of this month.

"Lady", was revealed to be part of the group's long-awaited comeback and will be premiered at the event on October 23rd.

On the said update, the organizers confirmed that, "New song
announcement!! The Boss will release a new song at the end of the month!
It’s the resumption of their activities in Korea. They’ll reveal their
comeback song “Lady” during the fanmeeting in Taiwan on the 23rd."

The Boss debuted with their first Korean single in March 2010 and
followed up with a mini album, "Awake," in June. A few months back, in
April, they had their Japanese debut with the single "Love Power". They
are rumored to comeback to Korea by the end of this month, and will most
likely reveal another Japanese single during December.

SNSD SLAYIN YOUR FAVS LEFT AND RIGHT IN LESS THAN 8 HOURS

The ladies of SNSD are back with a fierce new look as well as a fresh new album, and it didn’t take long before they achieved an “all-kill” on the various music charts.

Their new full-length album ‘The Boys‘ was released earlier today on October 19th (KST), and their title song “The Boys” is already #1 on major music sites such as Bugs, Melon, Dosirak, Naver, andDaum, as well as breaking the Top 100 on the iTunes Top 100 US Chart!

On a few particular music charts, all 10 of the TOP 10 songs were tracks off of SNSD’s new album such as “Telepathy“, “Top Secret“, and “Vitamin“.

Expectations were high for this new album as the producer of the legendary Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley himself produced their title track. The girls’ comebacks were originally scheduled for early October, but was postponed in order to better market their music for a more international audience.

In the afternoon of October 18th, Ham Eunjung tweeted, “At Haewoondae under the sun in the wind” and posted 4 pictures.

In the pictures, Ham Eunjung is wearing a navy blue checkered shirt with a few buttons undone with a black sleeveless shirt inside.

Especially notable is the change to the short haircut with waves that almost creates a wild feel with the intense look in her eyes drawing out Ham Eunjung’s charisma.

T.O.P not confirmed for new series

Korean idol T.O.P of boy band Big Bang may be cast as the male lead in an upcoming TV series but has yet to be confirmed for it, according to his agency on Tuesday.

"T.O.P is looking into the Korean adaptation of 'Absolute Boyfriend' in a positive light," an official with YG Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone, downplaying a report from earlier in the day that said he was set for the show.

The official added that the agency will make an announcement when a final decision is made while actress Kim Ha-neul is also in talks to play the drama's female lead opposite T.O.P.

Interview with Girls’ Generation on 10Asia

<The Boys> by Girls’ Generation is the first album they’re releasing since their last, <Hoot>, which was about a year ago. The title song for the album, “The Boys”, shows off the girls who have transformed in many ways. They’ve given up hook songs, and all the members tried rapping for the first time. The choreography is a little more powerful and bold. And just as important as these transformations is the fact that “The Boys” is being sold in America for the first time. Their first Japanese album, <Girls’ Generation>, sold more than 500,000 copies, gaining double platinum status. Their arena tour sold 300,000 tickets from the beginning and put them in a solid position, so their album being sold in America is garnering even more attention. We met with Girls’ Generation to personally hear from them how they prepared for all this.

KBS New York Korea Festival

For months, the KBS New York Korea Festival has been dominating headlines: on top of two full days of food and activities, KBS promised to present a K-Pop concert with an A-list lineup including TVXQ, 2PM, SHINee, 4minute, Kim Tae Woo, B2ST, G.NA, SISTAR as well as legendary singers like Insooni and Jang Sa Ik --all for free! While a concert of such substantial proportions seems too good to be true, KBS did indeed deliver a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for attendees on October 8th and 9th.

With attendees coming in from the Tri-State area, Pennsylvania, Florida and even from Peru, the KBS New York Korea Festival was solid evidence of the widespread influence of the Hallyu Wave.
