After weeks of teasing fans with photos, After School have finally announced the final line-up for their two unit groups, ‘A.S. BLUE.‘ and ‘A.S. RED‘!
Pledis Entertainment revealed, “A.S. RED will feature members Kahi, Jungah, Nana, and UEE, while A.S. BLUE will feature members Jooyeon, Raina, Lizzy, and E-Young. The units are especially meaningful, in that it’s a direct reflection of the votes made by fans.”
The two groups will begin promoting mid-July. As reported previously, A.S. RED will be a sexy, powerful concept, while A.S. BLUE will cater to the summer heat with a sweet and outgoing concept.

Infinite has revealed their jacket pictures for their first official album.
Infinite showed charms with overflowing masculinity through their jacket pictures for their first official album, which will be released mid-July.
In the pictures, Infinite shows poses that unifies but show their own personalities, while focusing on being charismatic. Also, they changed into sexy males with their masculine hairstyles that differ from their soft and romantic image from before.
Infinite’s entertainment showed confidence in this album by saying, “Infinite widened their spectrum in this album with not only their music but their visuals, performance, and other areas.”
Meanwhile, Infinite will be opening their debut showcase on the 17th and 19th in Osaka Nanba 8 and Tokyo Zepp in Japan.

Super Junior fans are very familiar with Kim Heechul’s alter-ego, ‘Lady HeeHee‘, who’s made an appearance in numerous events and gag photos. Rocking a range of looks (particularly from the “Poker Face” days) ‘Lady HeeHee’ became the premier Korean mimic of the world’s most prolific pop performance artist.
Recently, the lady herself praised Heechul for his spot-on impersonation. “Oh, he looks amazing! He looks amazing – look at that hairbow! Very good,” she gushed.

The 19-year-old Private First Class, identified only as Jung, was found by colleagues Sunday night hanging in a barracks shower room in the southeastern port of Pohang, a Marine Corps spokesman said.
Military investigators found an apparent suicide note in his locker with complaints about his life and a message for his parents.
"Investigations are under way to determine the reason for the suicide and if there was any harsh treatment (of Jung)," the spokesman told AFP.

It's that time of the week again! First we have MBLAQ's Lee Joon who mentioned his close friend in an interview for B-Plus Magazine's August issue. When asked about his "must bring" item, something precious he always carries around, Joon answered, "I will always bring a Polaroid picture that I took together with a friend with me." Upon being probed if the friend was someone from his hometown Joon gave a surprising answer - "No, a celebrity friend. A picture I took with SHINee's Onew. Onew is my only friend (laughs)." - causing the interviewer to jokingly comment, "Your relationship with him seems so close, like a couple~".
Onew was also mentioned by BEAST's Kikwang in the drama My Princess' Official Japanese Guide Book, listing SHINee's leader as one of his three closest friends in the industry: "Friends I often contact and meet are C.N Blue’s Jung-Yonghwa, F.T Island’s Lee-Hongki and SHINee’s Onew. I don’t have that many celebrity friends because I am shy and not the type of person talking first with strangers. I’ve been close to the three I mentioned."
Onew has been recieving appreciation from the industry this year as well, with seniors like Kim Changryeol and Yoon Jongshin commenting, "Onew sings as well as he ttakbams." Lee Hyun of 8eight also highlighted his growing friendship with SHINee's leader recently.

CSJH’s Dana and Sunday finally completed their comeback week of performances after being away from the stage for four years. Wearing expressions of both anticipation and nervousness, the ladies stood before reporters for their first interview backstage at KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘.
Dana began, “I think we’re the oldest seniors here. A couple of junior singers stopped by to greet us with their CDs, and it made me wonder if time really flew by that fast.” Sunday added, “There are a lot of cute, fresh new faces.”
News of their comeback first came out through a KBS documentary, where SM Entertainment’s schedule sheet for the year was accidentally leaked.
Dana said, “We were surprised at first, but also thankful to see that so many people were still waiting for us. We were in the middle of shooting our music video when the schedule sheet was leaked so it gave us a lot of strength.”
Speaking on their comeback, Sunday said, “It’s true that we’re expecting to make some achievements since it’s our first comeback in four years. But what I felt during those four years on hiatus was that the process is more important than the results. Preparing for a comeback during that long period allowed me to feel the importance of our staff, members, and fans. I want to create a memorable experience for my 20’s.”
Dana concluded, “Idols are the trends now. They’re pretty, and they’re an icon that many people can follow. What I want to show is that idols are singers too. I want to show everyone our vocal talents and be recognized for our musicality.”

Shinhwa’s Eric thanked veteran hip hop group DJ DOC on July 8th for their kindness to him and his groupmates in the past.
Eric tweeted, “I am proud to be known as the next troublemaker of the music industry after you guys. I respect and cheer you guys on as I continue to make good music and change as a person.” He continued, “I’m saying this without any hard feelings. I gratefully think of the time (during Shinhwa’s debut days) when you guys once pulled our members to the bathroom and hit us because we did not greet you.”
He added, “At that time, we did not go back to rooms and curse you guys. We really regretted our actions, and for the next few years we made sure that our junior singers did not do the same things that we did. However, after a while, it got annoying and we ended up ignoring the junior singers’ bad actions.”
Finally, Eric added, “It was really great luck for us that we got to meet you guys. For all the junior singers out there, it will be best if you guys be prepared and respectful when 2012 comes.”
After seeing this, DJ DOC member Kim Chang Ryul responded, “I really like Shinhwa. Really. Through text, you threatened me to follow you (on Twitter). I really miss you.”

Thanks to the past success of their single “Still Eating Well“, anticipation is high for Homme’s comeback next week.
The duo (comprised of 8eight’s Lee Hyun and 2AM’s Changmin) released the concept photos for their new album yesterday. It’s reported that they’re going for a “resort” look, which apparently means that they’ve probably spent a lot of time in water for the photoshoot.
Fans who saw the photos commented, “Wow, the birth of visual singers,” “Two guys I want to flirt with!!”, and “How close you guys look, I’m getting jealous for some reason!”
Homme will be releasing their album on July 19th.
