Anticipation has been building since Running Into The Sun (RITS) announced on Twitter that they will be bringing in a 'S' group in the second half of this year.
The rumours are now confirmed.
Coming your way this September is SHINee The 1st Concert in Singapore - SHINee World.
Brought to you by RITS and Conceptual, Korea's most popular boy band SHINee is set to thrill local K-Pop fans on Sep 10 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
With a production value of approximately S$1.7 million -- similar to that of Super Junior's Super Show 3 in January this year -- SHINee World will boast brilliant stage effects including wire actions and lasers, perfectly-timed pyrotechnics and sprawling LED display screens.
Fans and concert-goers will be at the edge of their seats waiting to be surprised with a performance that is larger than life from the boys.
Six thousand tickets will be available for the one-night only gig. Tickets -- priced at $138 (partially restricted), $168 and $218 -- will be sold through SISTIC. The opening date of ticket sales will be announced at a later time.
Consisting of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho and Taemin, SHINee is also known as the fashion icon for creating the 'SHINee trend'. This trend -- made up of high-top sneakers, big and baggy T-shirts, hoodies, colourful and flashy jeans -- had garnered a huge following not only in Korea, but also the rest of the world.
SHINee is also set to perform their hits, including 'Lucifer', 'Ring Ding Dong' and 'Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)'.
"The concert will be a vibrant mix of excitement, splendor and pure pleasure. The combination of stage effects and heart-thumping songs will be a two-and-a-half-hour adrenaline rush for fans and concert-goers," Beatrice Chia-Richmond, the creative director of RITS, said.
