In MBC’s ‘Yoo Jae Seok and Kim Won Hee’s Come To Play’, a ‘We’ve Come from Paris’ special was held with TVXQ’s Choikang Changmin, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk, Eun Hyuk, Shin Dong and Yesung, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany, Yuri, Soo Young and Hyo Yeon and f(x)’s Sulli and Krystal.
On this day, Lee Teuk said, “When VIP trainees enter the agency, the trainees begin to stir. And Choikang Changmin and Choi Siwon were VIPs.”
He said, “Because he was already famous at school and was a pretty boy who looked like Kangta, the female trainees really liked him but the male trainees kept them in check,” and “So I said that I’d judge him after watching him sing, but he was really good at singing and I said I wouldn’t receive his greetings, but he was so good and sincere at his greetings.“
SM Entertainment singers TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation and f(x) appeared on the program and talked about the reaction and popularity of their ‘SM Town Concert’ in Paris, the training and care process of their agency as well as interesting happenings that occurred during their trainee periods.

TVXQ’s Choikang Changmin showed off his charms by singing a charismatic rendition of a children’s song with his eyes wide open.
In the MBC ‘Come To Play’ episode that aired on the 26th, Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, f(x) and TVXQ, who are the forerunners of the K-Pop craze in Europe, talked about the behind-the-scenes stories of their trainee days.
They each had ‘secret orders’ at the time and they wrote down what they were not allowed to do. There were a variety of orders such as ‘Don’t overreact’, but Changmin was the only person who didn’t have a secret order.
He said that he wasn’t told not to do something because he usually didn’t do anything. But there was something that Changmin is good at, and that was having a charismatic gaze.
When Lee Teuk said that Changmin sings ballads with a gaze that could shoot laser beams and even children’s songs with a strong gaze, Choikang Changmin sang ‘Splish Splash’ on the spot with his strong and charming gaze.

A South Korean dog meat festival has been cancelled following growls of protest from animal rights activists, one of the would-be organisers said Tuesday.
The Korea Dog Farmers' Association had scheduled for Friday a festival aimed at promoting traditional dog meat consumption, said Ann Yong-Geun, an adviser to the association.
"We couldn't possibly go on with the plan due to endless phone calls of complaint... now there are few willing to rent us a place for the event," Ann, a professor of nutrition at Chung Cheong University, told AFP.

KARA member Goo Hara is attracting attention not only for her relationship with B2ST’s Junhyung, but also for her feet. Recently on an online community board, a photo was uploaded of Goo Hara in the midst of modeling for jewelry brand, Swarovoski.
In the picture, Goo Hara is sitting on the chair with her legs crossed, wearing a light cheetah pattern jumpsuit with her hair tied up. However, her cute expression could not hide her somewhat unsightly feet.
In contrast to Goo Hara’s pretty face, fans are nicknaming her feet as “frog feet“.

T-ara's "Roly-Poly" music video will be released in two parts.
T-ara's music video was scheduled to be released all at once at 5:00 on the 28th of June but will come out one hour later at 6:00 KST.
In regards to this, Core Contents Media said, "Because we decided to make last minute modifications, it's unfortunate we had to delay it's release. Although we wanted to keep our promises,we can promise a better product to show fans with just the little bit of extra time we get to edit. We hope you understand."
T-ara's music video for "Roly-Poly" will be about a girls' curiosity of an adult live. It will be about children and their hearts wanting to enter an adult world back in the olden days. The music video was directed by Cha Euntaek. Jeon Youngrok and Im Yejin have joined the music video to help create a more realistic feeling.
"Roly-Poly" means that no matter what happens you have to keep on standing up. Shinsadong Tiger and Choi Kyusung worked on the song together.
The first part of the "Roly-Poly" music video will be out at 6:00 on the 28th through Melon along with the digital single release. The 2nd part of the music video will be revealed on July 4th at 10:00 AM. T-ara will comeback on July 1st and are currently in preparations for their Japanese advancement.

T-ara's "Roly-Poly" music video has shifted it's release date one more time to the 29th at 11 AM.
T-ara's agency said through a press release on the 28th, "Our very beginning plan was to release it today (28th) at 5:00 but during the editing, a computer file with one minute's worth of the video failed to open and we thought it would be ready by an hour later at 6:00 today. But the computer did not restore the file after it was finished editing and restored. Tonight we are taking emergency actions so we can follow through with our new plan."

Singer and TV personality MC Mong, who had been cleared of military service law violation charges, will not be able to join the army due to an upper age limit despite his wish to do so.
The Ministry of Government Legislation looked into the 32-year-old entertainer’s case Tuesday and concluded that he can’t be conscripted.
MC Mong was earlier given a suspended jail term for obstructing public servants’ operations by applying for state exams in an attempt to dodge conscription. But he was acquitted of charges that he intentionally had healthy teeth extracted to avoid mandatory service due to a lack of evidence.
The ministry said even if a man who was not subject to conscription due to illness cures the disease and wants to get conscripted as a soldier on active duty, he can’t be recruited when he is over 31 years old, the age limit for the military service obligation for men.
The age limit rises to 36 for those who are caught dodging conscription or who have other problems being conscripted at the given age limit of 31.
“The duty for military service is a constitutional one, not a right. Under the conscription system, a person has the obligation according to the procedure and criteria set by the law regardless of his intention. He doesn’t have the right to choose whether to be enlisted or not,” an official of the ministry said.
After being cleared of the military law violation in April, MC Mong said in a press briefing that he would fulfill his duty if there is a legal way to do so.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-il's heir apparent son, Kim Jong-un, has undergone plastic surgery six times to look more like his late grandfather and the nation's founder, the chief of a radio station specializing in North Korean affairs claimed Tuesday.
Ha Tae-kyung, head of Open Radio for North Korea, cited unidentified senior North Korean officials and claimed that the North's leader-in-waiting had the surgery operations between 2007 and 2010 before he officially debuted as successor in September last year.
Ha made the remarks in a speech on North Korea's power succession during international defense forum hosted by the London-based Royal United Services Institute.
Believed to be in his late 20s, Kim was given the title of four-star general and named the vice chairman of the Central Military Committee of the North's ruling Workers' Party in what was believed to be Pyongyang's first official steps to put him in line to succeed his father.
It is not the first time that Kim was rumored to have undergone plastic surgery. Rumors began after photographs of Kim looking chubby with similar facial features as his grandfather were released shortly after the political event.
Ha claimed that the surgery was aimed at creating an image similar to that of his charismatic grandfather and North Korea's founder, Kim Il-sung, to boost his position as the country's next leader.
The succession, if made, would mark communism's second hereditary power transfer. The elder Kim inherited power from his father, who died in 1994.
Ha also said that Pyongyang is working on consolidating the heir apparent's power after his leadership has been undermined following failed attempts to reform the impoverished nation's currency system in 2009.
The reform move is believed to have caused strong public backlash as it led to massive inflation and worsened food shortages.

Actress Kang So-ra revealed a picture from the past.
On the SBS TV program "Kang Heart", Kang So-ra said, "I was 72 kg when I was in school".
"I love bread and pastries. Eating them as snacks and not a meal made me gain weight".
She couldn't wear what she wanted then, and her 30-inch waist didn't make it easy to find anything in a female section so she had to find clothes that fit at the male section or find baggy hip hop clothes in Itaewon. She was also tall and well fit so many people thought she was an athlete.
After deciding to go theatrical school, she started on a diet. "I lost 5~6 kg with only eating 3 meals. I made sure I had my 3 meals of the day". Sin Dong-hee then agreed with her and said, "Only eating 3 meals a day makes you lose weight".
Having succeeded in losing weight with the right diet and working out, Kang So-ra said, "I am maintaining my body without any side effects for two years now. With permission from my management, I get to eat bread and pastries once a week".
Those who saw the program say, "She's pretty even when she's bloated", "She's even prettier and cool for confessing it truthfully", "She's not like Kang Ho-dong at all, she 's so cute", "Body is important for girls" and more.

The second picture that was revealed showed Hyuna in a top that was low-cut in the back. The top exposed most of her back and the back of her shoulders. On her left shoulder, her tattoo was revealed for the first time.
The tattoo reads, "My mother is the heart that keeps me alive." Hyuna got the tattoo a couple years back, but this was the first time it was revealed. A representative from Cube Entertainment revealed that Hyuna picked out the words for the tattoo herself as well as the meaning behind them.
The representative stated, "Because of her activities, Hyuna has been away from her family for a long time. She thinks of them a lot. Her love for her mother is particularly deep. It was revealed now even though she has had it for a long time because the concept of this album included a top that was low on the back. Hyuna's album concept is not about being sexy. This time the concept will give off a sporty feeling."
Hyuna's comeback mini album will be released on July 5th. Hyuna will start her promotions on music shows soon after the release as well with her new "sporty" concept. Her comeback title song will be "Bubble Pop!"

It was recently announced that Super Junior's Kyuhyun and f(x)'s Luna will be joining KBS' "Immortal Song 2." According to "Immortal Song 2" representatives, label mates Kyuhyun and Luna will be joining he cast in the near future.
Because both are already known for their exceptional vocal skills in their respective groups, people are saying that they should compare favorably to the current cast. To respect the busy schedules of idols, the producers of "Immortal Song 2" have given the contestants the liberty to leave and re-join the show on their own volition.

It was announced on the 27th by KH company that KARA's Nicole will be entering the cookie business. Nicole will be collaborating with cafe brand "Mango Six" to create "KUKI SIX."
Nicole stated, "When I didn't have anything in my schedule, I would bake cookies and gift them to people. Many people seemed to like them and asked me to make them more. I think this opportunity came about because I kept baking cookies for people who liked them," and explained her reasons for starting a cookie business.

Early this morning, KeyEast Entertainment teased fans by unveiling three new photos of SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong. The released photos will be part of Kim Hyun Joong’s limited edition version of his debut solo album “Break Down.” The photos gave fans a taste of all the new treats that will be part of the limited edition album. For his comeback, Kim Hyun Joong underwent a 180 degree transformation, shedding his soft flower boy image to a beastly and manly look. While he was limited to one image during his early promotions of “Break Down,” he displayed his ability to pull off a wide variety of looks – ranging from sexy to sophisticated.
The limited edition album is comprised of a CD, a DVD of music videos, and 48 pages of never-before-seen photos and will be available in offline stores on June 30th. Kwanghee will be handing his fellow members the highly coveted center position for ZE:A’s upcoming promotions this coming July.
ZE:A is currently busy preparing for their comeback on July 8th, and Star Empire Entertainment recently revealed that the member positioning will also be changed with their new album.
Kwanghee was the notable center of the group during their most recent promotions for “Here I Am“, but it seems members Dongjun and Hyungsik will be taking his place instead.
Earlier this year, Kwanghee said he believed he received the center spot, “Because I worked so hard on all the variety shows I went on. I think my entertainment company is finally beginning to recognize me as talent“, and added that he was very happy to stand on stages.
Star Empire Entertainment explained the new arrangement, “We want ZE:A to be praised for their singing abilities this time around, so we plan to have the vocal line, Dongjun and Hyungsik, stand center stage for the upcoming promotions. Kwanghee also hopes that people will see him beyond the variety-idol image he currently has, so he is working hard on his vocals.”
ZE:A’s comeback track promises to be a fun and upbeat song that’s perfect for the summer weather.

2PM Junsu expresses his impression and resolution on KBS 2TV "Immortal Song 2." In a recent press conference, Junsu confessed that, "there are much more to prepare" than he thought, and then added, "one has to make song arrangement, decide on what to do with the sound and chorus, and practice on the performance all in a week's time. No doubt it's a great opportunity, however there's a lot of pressure. Moreover, the shooting coincides with 2PM's comeback schedule so I can barely get any sleep recently." 2PM Chansung put in a helping word: "after daily group practice which usually ends at 2~3AM, Junsu has to head right away to prepare for Immortal Song 2. He gets only 1~1&1/2 hour of sleep a day. While I do feel a bit bad for him coming to schedules looking like a zombie, I admire his passion for the show." Junsu went on: "the first episode was recorded in a pretty hostile environment. (laughs) It feels like I'm retrieving my true colors while I look back on the songs I used to like before I became 2PM. KINO is coming to get you

A Korean group named KINO is reportedly making waves over in Japan, as they were recently acknowledged by a KBS special titled, ‘K-Pop Makes the World Dance‘. The group is unique in that they’re under a different ‘Hallyu system’ that debuted them in Japan right from the get-go.
The five members formed in September of last year through an audition process that saw over 1,000 potential members. Comprised of Yang Haemin, Joo Jong Hoon, Kwak Yong Hwan, Noh Sung Hwan, and Baek Seung Jae, KINO has been promoting on the streets of Shinjuku and Shinokubo.

SHINee Taemin’s growth blast is now a hot topic.
On 26 June, KBS2 ‘Chulbal Dream Team Season 2′ aired the second round of “With Asian Stars”, a project to support the 2011 Daegu IAAF World Championships.
The Dream Team’s first player for the iron man pentathlon was SHINee Taemin. Taemin attracted attention for his more mature manly appearance in a shorter hair style and well-defined features. Taemin said it is his first time playing the pentathlon, but surprised everyone by calmly completing it in 1 minute 11.17 seconds, the fastest.
Taemin said, “I thought I should win as I was representing our team, so I did my best.” SHINee Minho also admitted Taemin’s competence.

Since May, underground hip hop crew Seoul Connection’s rapper Kim Jung Min has been undergoing prosecution for being caught smoking marijuana. Recently, it was decided that the artist will be put on probation for two years as a consequence.
The judge explained, “As a celebrity, he should have been more strictly punished, but he made amends for his wrongdoing and we took into consideration his lack of previous convictions.”
Afterwards, a dissatisfied Kim Jung Min objected to the final decision by appealing to the court.
Last December, he was charged and convicted for smoking marijuana three times with foreigners in a bathroom in Mapo, Seoul.
