Two years ago, this reporter had a short meeting with the father of TVXQ member, Kim Junsu. This year, on 14 July, at the Beijing press conference of the product that Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun invested in, this reporter greeted Mr Kim (T/N: Junsu's father), and although he was really busy on that day, he took my hand and said, "I still remember you. For the 3 children's event today, I'll be counting on your support."

What the magazine blogs had to say;

J-14 Video Exclusive: Meet the Wonder Girls!

Say hi to Sohee, Sun, Mimi, Yenny, and Yubin aka the Wonder Girls! The girls stopped by the J-14 office this morning to chat about everything from being away from their home country of South Korea to their tour mates, the Jonas Brothers. In fact, J-14 was one of their first American magazine interviews ever.

Besides their awesome fashion sense (Psst! They even changed outfits in the J-14 office for their next meeting), they girls were super sweet and totally hilarious. Check out their shout-out just for J-14ers:

Don't forget to catch the Wonder Girls opening for the Jonas Brothers this summer on their World Tour.

What do you guys think of them being in US teen magazines? Personally, I'm really happy that they're getting more recognition! Wonder Girls success here opens up a lot of doors for more K-pop acts to become successful here.

Guess who!

While Korea film enjoyed a period of prosperity during the late 1990s, it is no secret that today the industry is barely managing to keep its head above water. Between 2001 and 2008, Korean movies were in the red for six of those years and in the black for just two. And profits have been dipping even further into negative territory since 2006.

As a means to counter this trend, studios are increasingly turning to international co-productions.

The Korea Film Council, which has been at the forefront of joint production, recently launched a new business team to support domestic filmmakers joining hands with overseas producers.

The sequel to "The Host," a 2006 monster movie directed by Bong Joon-ho, has attracted an investment of $5 million from Singapore's Media Development Authority and Boku Films, production firm Chungeorahm Film said yesterday.

Chungeorahm held a signing ceremony for the investment deal with Boku Films at the Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival. The joint investment by Boku and MDA will account for the half of the entire production cost.

While this article has lots of same points as this one it has also some new information, for instance about "fair use" act that's under review.

Your five-year-old daughter mimmicks a popular song at home. Her gig is so cute, so you pick up your camcorder to record her one-minute performance. You upload the clip on your own blog to share it with your friends and relatives. This seemingly benign act, however, is in violation of the Korean copyright law. No kidding. Last month, there was an actual incident in which a video clip showing a five-year-old kid singing Son Dam-bi's "Crazy" -- for 58 seconds, to be exact -- was uploaded on a blog run by Naver.com, and the Korea Music Copyright Association asked the country's biggest portal to block public access to the video clip.

Online users cite the case as a striking example that heralds what would come once the revised copyright law goes into effect today. Although the government authorities and copyright associations try to reassure Korean online users that no drastic development will happen, anxiety is spreading far and wide across the local cyberspace.

A collective "OK Korea" rang out amongst the Omona crowd. Korea is really cracking down with New Online Copyright Laws. They are leaving us baffled! Only 4 songs out of 15 songs of Outsider’s 2nd album allowed for broadcast programme. The Wonder Girls are making the rounds in 3 "major" U.S teen mags. Also Chillin with Wendy Williams!! what? 2NE1 got their pose on for Numero Korea. SHINee also had a spread in Numero magazine. Brown Eyed Girls busted out their new MV Abracadabra. BoA debuts her Energetic MV and most people agree that it's poppin. Big Bang are the #1 artistes Koreans want to sit next to on airplanes. Eh? Park Tae Hwan’s Appa has no clue why his son is still single? O.M.G LYKE HONKI GOT HIS WEAVE ADJUSTED AGAIN HIS WEEK. STUNNING. Hyorish is not an illegal immigrant? No bulgogi. Stars contributed to photography exhibition for Animal Welfare campaign. Speaking of animals, 2PM WILD BUNNY EP 1 IS OUT.

Yadda yadda yadda. A lot went down. But the most important comes last!

After 850+ votes Yunho won the Who Whore It Better: SUGGESTIVE MIC POSITION EDITION!! poll. His prize is nothing but pride/satisfaction.

This is how all orders of business (political and otherwise) should be conducted!

In South Korea, the National Assembly broke out into a first grade playground fight while voting on some media bill. One hot bitch took to the podium and was trying to stop the proceedings by killing ear drums with her screeches, but a mob of hotter bitches circled her ass! They were not the ones to eff with! How do you say "WHOOP THAT TRICK" in Korean?

The Taiwanese did it better though.

Sunny related thing I learned today: she was born in Kuwait and thus the reason she is afraid of firecrackers and loud noises is because she lived through the Gulf War. Wow, I had no idea. I had seen a video of some fireworks going off and Tiffany and Yuri covering her ears as she cowered behind the members and now that I know the reason behind her fear... D:
