In her recent interview with Herald Media, talent Yoon Eun Hye was asked about what she thought about her singing activity, since she debuted as part of group Baby V.O.X.

She said, “Promoting as a singer from young, I did dare to look straight at the camera. I felt embarrassed and at lost. But nowadays the singers are doing very well, so I think I cannot make it now. I’m a 2NE1 fan. They have individuality and are cute and pretty. I think they have captured the hearts of the fans in their teens and 20s.”

She continued, “My pronunciation is not good. Even though there are people who think that I’m not someone who is systematic, I think I should work on developing the parts which I am still lacking in. Even though I cannot improve in just 1 morning, I will do my best to improve myself.”

Here's a look at the filming of action spy drama IRIS starring Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee and Kim So Yeon. They were filming in Hungary. Photos of Lee Byung Hun concentrating on his script and Kim Tae Hee doing action scenes. Frankly, i wouldn't have imagined Kim Tae Hee playing a role with lots of action and fight scenes. We'll just have to wait and see how she fares in IRIS.

Clride.n has announced that Kim So Eun and SHINee will model for their upcoming fall/winter collection. Kim So Eun joins SHINee, who have been endorsement models for Clride.n since last year.

Clride.n expressed, “SHINee’s individualistic and energetic personalities are very compatible with Kim So Eun’s pure and charismatic image, and we feel that our 2009 F/W ad campaign will draw strong interest from consumers.”

I like the improvement in Dara's voice...but I don't think they should put her part right next to Bom's in future songs, like they did with Pretty Boy. It's like a progression from "pretty good" to "WOAH DAMN!" XD I think Bom forgot some of the lyrics to "In the Club" though, lol.

New Online Copyright Law Baffles Users

With the government's new anti-piracy measures going into effect Thursday, Internet users are struggling to figure out what to do with their old blog posts and video clips.

The revised copyright law, devised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, grants authorities the power to suspend the Web accounts of Internet users transferring copyrighted content such as videos, music and text, for a maximum six months.

Regulators can also shut down Web sites after a third warning over copyright infringement, regardless of whether or not the copyright holders complained about it.

Internet users accused of illegally sharing copyrighted content will also be subject to the "three-strikes" rule, which results in having their Web accounts severed.

Ministry officials emphasize that the provisions aren't intended to target the average blogger, but the "heavy uploaders" who move a large volume of illegal files on peer-to-peer services and online storage sites and gain commercially from the actions.

However, most industry watchers believe that the impact of the strengthened law will immediately be felt by regular Internet users each time they press copy and paste, and eventually, might compromise the vibrancy of the country's Internet culture.

'Style' to Bring Fashion, Love and Career

The cast of the new drama "Style" answer questions at the press conference held at Shilla Hotel, northern Seoul, Monday. From left, Lee Yong-woo, Lee Ji-ah, Kim Hye-soo, Ryu Si-won and Oh Jung-rok. The program will portray the competitive world of fashion every weekend starting Aug. 1 at 10 p.m. on SBS.


Fashion lovers who enjoyed the film "The Devil Wears Prada" will have a new television drama to satisfy their fashion cravings, beginning next month.

"Style" is based on the Korean hit chic-lit novel of the same title written by former fashion reporter Baek Young-ok. The glamorous world of the fashion industry is the backdrop for the drama, which stars top actors Kim Hye-soo, Ryu Si-won, Lee Ji-ah, as well as newcomer Lee Yong-woo.

"We were looking for a plot that contained the loves, lifestyle and trends of people in their 20s and 30s, when we finally discovered the book 'Style' " said Oh Jung-rok, the producer of the drama, at a press conference in northern Seoul. He added that work on the project has been underway since April 2008.

Only 4 songs out of 15 songs of Outsider’s 2nd album allowed for broadcast programme

Coming back with great success with the title song ‘Along’, singer Outsider has received the ‘verdict’ that only 4 songs out of the 15 songs in his new 2nd album will be allowed on broadcast programmes.

All 3 broadcasting centres have come down to the same decision with Outsider’s new album. The songs allowed for broadcast are ‘Alone’, ‘Youth Confession’, ‘Piero’s tears’ and ‘SKIT’.

Outsider released his 2nd album ‘Maestro’ in early-June. There were 2 songs which are especially problematic – ‘Luv Business’ and ‘Speed Racer’ as the lyrics include sexual expressions and vulgarities.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Outsider will continue to promote the follow up song ‘Youth Confession’ from August.

Stars contribute to photography exhibition for Animal Welfare campaign

Several goodwill/charitable organizations have called on celebrities to participate in their campaigns, and the Korean Animal Welfare Association has followed suit. In a four-day event at “Daily Project” in Chungdam-dong, a series of works from Korean photographer Kim Hyun Sung will be exhibited. This event can be likened to a “Focus on the (furry) Family” campaign and will showcase celebrity-abandoned canine pairings. Stars who have contributed their star power include members from Girls’ Generation, SHINee and other celebrities like Kong Hyo Jin, Kim Min Jun, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Hana and Song Ja-in.

This photo exhibition has been wholly organized by volunteers. If you’re situated in Seoul, make sure to drop by and show some support. And kids remember, don’t go “How much is that doggy in the window?” if you aren’t prepared to devote time to your furry friends!
