DIA to comeback as units BinChaenHyunSeu and L.U.B

DIA will be releasing two digital singles this week as a pair of unit groups!

BinChaenHyunSeu (Yebin, Chaeyeon, Heehyun, Eunice) will release "You're the Moon" on December 29th at 00:00 AM KST, and L.U.B (Lovely Unit B - Jenny, Eunjin, Eunchae) will release "13th Month 32nd Day" on the 31st at 00:00 AM KST.

The two units will begin promoting on music shows in early January; they performed their new songs for the first time at DIA's First Miracle Concert on December 24th.

Yoo Ah In’s Military Enlistment Put On Hold After Third Medical Checkup

Yoo Ah In has received a “needs re-evaluation” result after his third medical checkup at the Military Manpower Administration (MMA).

The actor is currently 30 years old, and according to Korea’s military service law, his enlistment must be decided in the near future. Through various press conferences and interviews, Yoo Ah In has repeatedly expressed his desire to complete his military enlistment requirements.

However, a past shoulder injury he incurred while filming a movie has caused him to receive a “military service classification postponement” result, and he has been asked to get another medical checkup in 2017.

MC Kim Gura suggests that Big Bang's Seungri should join WINNER

In the recent episode of Radio Star with Big Bang as a guest, the cast talk about what Seungri will do while the older members do their military service for two years.
When Seungri mentions that they're preparing as to make the hiatus as short as possible, Kim Gura cuts him off by suggesting that he join WINNER in their absence. Kyuhyun tries to cover for him by suggesting that Seungri join Blackpink instead, with Seungri honestly answering that it probably wouldn't be a good idea.
MC Gura backtracks and mentions that he's only joking, but makes the same joke only minutes later which makes Seungri look rather irritated.

Jazz vocalist LEE DONG WOO's 2nd album "Walking" has been released.
The album includes a total of 10 tracks and LEE DONG WOO participated in writing lyrics. The title track "What A Wonderful Cane" is a bright and light jazz song combined of pop and swing and the song is about his own story of overcoming the sorrows and loneliness he felt in the noisy city through his fun imagination. Lee Dong Woo lost his sight due to a retina disease.

Shin Dae Nam, ex-chairman of Yedang Entertainment (now known as Banana Culture), is the new CEO of Cube Entertainment.

On December 28, a source from Cube Entertainment explained, “Yesterday morning we held a shareholders meeting and appointed Shin Dae Nam as our new CEO.”

Originally a newspaper reporter, Shin Dae Nam took the seat as Yedang Entertainment’s chairman in 2007. Acknowledged for his contributions to the Korean culture business, he earned himself several awards from the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The source from Cube added, “We are preparing for a second takeoff with CEO Shin Dae Nam, who has profound knowledge in the media and entertainment fields.”

However, co-founder and chairman Hong Seung Sung will be in charge of the general business management including artist management and production. Chairman Hong expressed, “It is very significant for us to work with someone so competent.”

As of now, Cube Entertainment is home to HyunA, Jang Hyunseung, BTOB, and more.
