If you think schoolgirl concepts aren't targeted toward the male gaze, idk what to tell you LOL. They absolutely are, there's a reason the screams during pure concept performances are 90% male.

I don't personally see any lesbian themes in this teaser but other people do and I assure you that if those themes present themselves in the final video, they will be there for the ahjussis lmao.

Lmao I AM an LGBT fan and more fetishization of lesbians for straight men is the last thing we need. It's literally FOR them, it is NOT for us, at all. Seemingly straight girls acting out a lesbian schoolgirl fantasy for their mostly male fan base is not representation or empowerment for actual lesbians, it's just more of the usual male bullshit.

well, nothing is "for" us, really. that doesn't mean we should have nothing, though. even if the f/f hints in mvs like this one aren't put there with us in mind at all i would still rather they be there than not.
people want to see themselves in the media they consume. it's not like we're talking about shots of girls making out sloppily in short skirts or something, they're just cute scenes of affection. and they're important to a lot of lgbt fans. not including you, i guess, but that doesn't make them objectively bad. considering that the entire idol industry is terrible for women and LGBT people i would change a million other things before i change the gay subtext.
