EXO takes over Spotify's flagship public Kpop playlist from 27th-28th December, promoting their 2016 winter album, For Life. 3 special intros were recorded (partly in English) by Kyungsoo, Suho and Kai.

They do have Spotify in Korea, though it doesn't seem to have a lot of visibility given the homegrown streaming services. Spotify seems to be reasonably big in a lot of SE Asia, though, which is still probably a bigger market for them than the US/Europe.

I can confirm it's true that EXO aren't that big in US/Europe compared to BTS. I know this because I was/am fucking this 18 year old Malaysian guy who's in his final year of high school (in Toronto) and when I asked him about BTS he was all like "ugh, everyone at my school won't shut up about BTS, it's BTS this and that all the time" and I said "really!?" and he was like "Well duh, I go to an Asian high school." And then I asked about EXO and he was all "yea, I think I've heard of them" LOL
