OMONA THEY DID(N'T)!

On 17th April, Minzy uploaded a post to instagram in English and Korean regarding her recent contract dispute with her agency, Music Works. Her English section reads:
"^^ I'm about to embark on a new journey.
I left my company and got the freedom. For the fans who always support me,
I ended the contract with my agency well through negotiations. I leaved much to be desired because I haven't been able to show you my works and performance in recent years, but from now on, I can show you more often. I will meet you brightly and energetic on the stage to match the name, Minzy. Above all, I will communicate more often with fans who always support me! thank you."

The music video also stars latelmate Kim Sohee (ex-PD101 soloist) and also F.Cuz's Yejun.

2017 saw lots of strong debuts from small and big companies alike. The likes of Dreamcatcher, KARD and A.C.E have seen a consistent increase in success and interest (though obviously at different levels), while groups like Pristin and Weki Meki already had lots of public interest before they had even debuted. But a lot of promising debuts haven't been followed up with. Almost halfway through 2018, some companies need to get it together and give their groups a 2018 comeback, because the public will only stay interested for so long.
