Minzy has (finally) ended her contract with Music Works

On 17th April, Minzy uploaded a post to instagram in English and Korean regarding her recent contract dispute with her agency, Music Works. Her English section reads:
"^^ I'm about to embark on a new journey.
I left my company and got the freedom. For the fans who always support me,
I ended the contract with my agency well through negotiations. I leaved much to be desired because I haven't been able to show you my works and performance in recent years, but from now on, I can show you more often. I will meet you brightly and energetic on the stage to match the name, Minzy. Above all, I will communicate more often with fans who always support me! thank you."

I hope P Nation allows their artists to perform and release music as they want. They are still a business after all and in it for profits. I just hope as it is formed by artists who have been in the industry for years, they cater more to the artists rather than stockholders.

Good for her. I saw a Jojo documentary a while back and its scary how people in the entertainment industry can be stuck in hell contracts for YEARS. Glad Minzy got out before long.
