Earlier, the Wonder Girls made waves after it was announced that they would be making a comeback, and not as a dance group, but as a band! Now they have also confirmed their comeback date, showcasing their new image and sound in the heat of summer, August 3.

JYP Entertainment confirmed that date, saying to Sports Today that “Wonder Girls is preparing their album with the goal of making a comeback on August 3.”

The newly regrouped Wonder Girls will see the return of Sunmi and be a four-member band- Yeeun on keyboard, Hyelim on the guitar, Sunmi on bass, and Yoobin on the drums.

It has been three years since the Wonder Girls last released a song; it was 2012′s “Like This.”

In a recent broadcast of SBS‘s Midnight TV Entertainment, G-Dragon‘s annual royalties for his self-produced, written, and composed tracks were revealed.

Aired on the afternoon of June 24th, the entertainment information program revealed that G-Dragon earns an estimated of more than 790 million won, or $710,786 U.S dollars, in royalties a year based off information taken in 2012. Given that since then, BIGBANG has released additional music, the current estimate is most likely even more.

The majority of BIGBANG’s music is a result of direct involvement from G-Dragon, who creates the group’s popular and quality music, as well as his own solo tracks. Included are the group’s most recent hit tracks "LOSER", "Bae Bae Bae", "BANG BANG BANG" and "We Like 2 Party", as well as many others.

lo and behold: gaon has released their cummulative report for the chart's best selling artists physically, digitally, overall, ect. for the first half of the year. (apparently the timeline of everything included runs from january 1st to sometime last week.) a post earlier this week was made on hanteo's round up of physical sales solely for the first half of the year.

because it may be asked, the difference in how hanteo and gaon calculate their charts is as follows: hanteo only counts sales from retailers that are "hanteo" certified (along with albums bought on sites like yesasia and dvdheaven) which only equals to about 85% of the sales in south korea, while gaon counts virtually ever sale under the moon / shipments to distributors. (this also counts sales on sites like yesasia, ect.) gaon has album sales reported to them via the korean music content industry association while hanteo doesn't, ect.

f(x) are coming to UK for London Korea Festival in August as guests.

The girls are performing live for free to celebrate the one day festival according to The Korean Tourism Organization with the aim to strengthen ties between London and Korea.

Aside from f(x), rock group Guckkasten, Korea’s World Champion B-Boy group Jinjo Crew are all invited. The festival is filled with everything Korean and it encourages audience to join a flash mob while dancing to trending K-pop dance, more traditional games, fashion, cuisine and more.

The “London Korean Festival: Imagine Your Korea“ is happening on August 9 at Trafalgar Square. Admission is free!

The Guardian features a segment called "The Playlist" where their team compiles playlists of different music from around the world. On June 22, "The Playlist" featured CL in anticipation of her upcoming American debut.

The excerpt has nothing but nice things to say about CL, calling her one of the biggest stars in South Korea and describing 2NE1 as bigger than UK based boy group One Direction. Talking specifically about her recent English-language release "Doctor Pepper," The Guardian calls the track addictive and compares CL's sound to something akin to Nicki Minaj.

CL is included amongst other genre-bending artists like The Walking Who and Green Buzzard from Australia, Sextile from Los Angeles, and Shades from Idaho.

The piece from The Guardian is not the first time Western outlets have expressed their interest in CL and her upcoming debut. Many music critics, along with K-pop fans, are highly anticipating her American album.

"Doctor Pepper" was released on DJ and producer Diplo's SoundCloud at the end of May. CL provides the song's catchy hook. Artists RiFF RAFF and OG Maco also feature on the song. It has been called an Atlanta-style rap track.
The date of CL's American debut is still unknown.

Chanyeol is known to be quite the jokester in his K-pop group EXO, so when he talks, it's hard not to laugh.

Recently, Chanyeol, Chen, and Sehun appeared on SBS radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time." The hosts of the show asked Chanyeol which member of EXO he'd like to go on a trip with, leading the rapper to talk about which member of EXO he's drifted from since the group's debut.

"I used to like D.O., but we've grown apart. He is always busy with his schedules. As they say, 'out of sight, out of mind'," said Chanyeol.

On June 23rd, more behind the scenes footage from the Diplo X CL X RiFF RAFF X OG Maco “Doctor Pepper” music video set was leaked.

According to the original poster, the video is a compilation from Snapchat user sistasoothing, a social media platform where videos and photos disappear after playing or 24 hours after it is posted to a story.

The video first shows a short portion of a dance sequence from a distance before a green stretch Hummer limo comes into the shot. Then in another shot, three people are seen dancing on top of the limo. It seems that the female in the middle on the limo is CL although the low quality does not allow viewers to be completely sure.

Take a look at the leaked video below! This is the second leaked behind the scenes video following a short post from Instagram earlier this week.
