Chanyeol and D.O. broke up

Chanyeol is known to be quite the jokester in his K-pop group EXO, so when he talks, it's hard not to laugh.

Recently, Chanyeol, Chen, and Sehun appeared on SBS radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time." The hosts of the show asked Chanyeol which member of EXO he'd like to go on a trip with, leading the rapper to talk about which member of EXO he's drifted from since the group's debut.

"I used to like D.O., but we've grown apart. He is always busy with his schedules. As they say, 'out of sight, out of mind'," said Chanyeol.

The statement seems sort of serious, but was met with much laughter at the studio according to Koreaboo.

As far as members he's still close with, Chanyeol chose Sehun as his hypothetical travel partner, explaining that he often spent time with Sehun after practice pre-debut.
"When we were younger, we used to play with Sehun a lot. Even after practice, we would take him out with us," explained Chanyeol.

EXO is currently in the middle of promoting their "Exodus" album repackage titled "Love Me Right." The group has won several music shows among several controversies regarding Chinese member Tao. Tao, who is not promoting the album repackage, is still in negotiations with SM Entertainment regarding his contract with the label.

As for Chanyeol, while previously he's come under fire for some of his statements about other members, it's nice to see him jokingly expressing his support for his fellow EXO group members.

they're basically best friends irl, chanyeol, kyungsoo and jinho used to go out on dates together.
kyungsoo likes chanyeol in that he half hates him, half tolerates him, but he never seems to get too mad for too long, and that's what keeps their friendship going? i'd say that he likes chanyeol and jongin in very different ways

smh i found it kind of sad that yeol and chen said he's like an "outsider" now, but then again kai has also said that chanyeol just sucks at approaching kyungsoo in general. i hope the group's supportive of his solo activities.

I was under the impression that Kyungsoo merely tolerates them, apart from Jongin who he seems close with (at least judging by how he lets Jonging hang off him/grope him).

It does seem like that tbh. I think Kyungsoo's personality just seems a lot different from the other EXO members like Baekhyun/Chen/Chanyeol who are pretty loud/hyper most of the time whereas Kyungsoo seems like a pretty serious and quiet guy. I think he and Suho get along fine as well. The member who seems to be the 'outsider' for me is Xiumin, but that might just be because he's so quiet.

PCY is playing this goofy, clumsy super-polite giant but I always get the vibe that he's the most career driven from all of them, really-really cares about his image and would potentialy sacrifice/throw under the bus other member if it was benefical for him and not cause public attack lol Like people say that his the same foolish thing as BBH but Yeol would neva cause somethin like Oreogate - not bc he wouldn't go for idol girl but bc he cares too much about his own ass ;P (Ok, I'm too deep in Exo, time to go out for a bit;D)

they were actually cute best buds predebut but i was looking forward to this day. idt idol life has done their friendship many favors.. like it revealed a lot of imcompatibility in some big things like how they each responded to fame

imo this is kind of a personal thing to bring up on public broadcast especially when they're supposedly still on non-antagonistic terms and the other party isn't around (like what's he expecting? a heartfelt phonecall? a stop on kyungsoo's solo activities, when he's knocking things out of the park? lol), but i guess chanyeol wants some last buzz out of kyungsoo

chanyeol seemed 180 when he was around Kyungsoo off camera. he was chiller & low key so Kyungsoo and him could comfortably hang out. the only reason it seemed Kyungsoo hated Chanyeol is because Chanyeol is super fake/fame whore-y/obnoxious on camera & Kyungsoo off/on camera is pretty much the same so he can't deal with the 180 switch Chanyeol makes.

that being said it's a shame bcuz Kyungsoo is drifting apart from Exo altogether and even said he sees Jo In Sung & Co just as much as Exo & he said this during Call Me Baby promos & was seen eating out with Jo In Sung/Kwangsoo like the next day.

he still seems to get along with everyone just fine tho i don't think he's super close to anyone anymore. he's just comfortable with them since they've been together for so long.

it's only natural ppl drift with age/experience anyways and we're seeing the rise of Actor! Soo which im 100000000% behind and ready for him to slay in more future dramas as his acting career ascends

yeah ofc soo would ditch yeol to hang out with insung who he has star eyes for/around. (no rly, soo gets like GIDDY around him its so funny/cute. ahem) poor yeol, he's tall and handsome but he's no insung hahaha. and yeah Actor!Soo is taking center stage now. (yeol also wants acting roles but has had way less luck so that little bit of competition is perhaps not doing their friendship favors haha) but idk it seems normal to have those moments. happened to me, and i've done it to others. im a romanticist maybe but if you're truly friends of the heart then stuff like this is just a drop in the bucket. if yeol IS truly bothered (and not just fuckin around.) then i suspect being ditched is only half of it. (speaking of actor soo he was so having the time of his life playing a serial killer pyscho on I Remember You. i'll be sad when his cameo is over. he was chewing that scenery so hard. bless)
