Chanyeol and D.O. broke up

Chanyeol is known to be quite the jokester in his K-pop group EXO, so when he talks, it's hard not to laugh.

Recently, Chanyeol, Chen, and Sehun appeared on SBS radio show "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time." The hosts of the show asked Chanyeol which member of EXO he'd like to go on a trip with, leading the rapper to talk about which member of EXO he's drifted from since the group's debut.

"I used to like D.O., but we've grown apart. He is always busy with his schedules. As they say, 'out of sight, out of mind'," said Chanyeol.

The statement seems sort of serious, but was met with much laughter at the studio according to Koreaboo.

As far as members he's still close with, Chanyeol chose Sehun as his hypothetical travel partner, explaining that he often spent time with Sehun after practice pre-debut.
"When we were younger, we used to play with Sehun a lot. Even after practice, we would take him out with us," explained Chanyeol.

EXO is currently in the middle of promoting their "Exodus" album repackage titled "Love Me Right." The group has won several music shows among several controversies regarding Chinese member Tao. Tao, who is not promoting the album repackage, is still in negotiations with SM Entertainment regarding his contract with the label.

As for Chanyeol, while previously he's come under fire for some of his statements about other members, it's nice to see him jokingly expressing his support for his fellow EXO group members.

they're basically best friends irl, chanyeol, kyungsoo and jinho used to go out on dates together.
kyungsoo likes chanyeol in that he half hates him, half tolerates him, but he never seems to get too mad for too long, and that's what keeps their friendship going? i'd say that he likes chanyeol and jongin in very different ways

yeah they've been close a while. my theory was always that they got close via music. since yeol is from a family of musicians and d.o is a singer and they just bonded over it was my guess (among other things). Soo HAS been rly busy with schedules and doing his own thing so yeol being pouty over being left hanging isnt surprising. and yeah idg ppl who compare chansoo or kaisoo levels of closeness cuz the dynamics in each friendship could not be more different imho?

and also it's not like kyungsoo can't be friends with both of them? i mean chansoo wasn't at the expense of kaisoo's friendship, or chanhun's friendship, or whatever. people are capable of having multiple friendships and idk why it's an either-or thing for the fandom :|
