I know nothing about her since I'm new to the world of Korean celebrity but I think she's on a reality show with her sister Krystal, right?
I saw an episode and it was KILLING me that she kept touching her hair and moving it so it was all hanging on one side.
Anyways, I recently watched the Kdrama Flower Boys Next Door and there's a character who is sort of shallow and all about status who constantly fussed with her hair to the side before talking to her "crush" Were the writers trying to mock Jessica? Is she known for having this weird hair tic or does the majority of Korean female celebrities do it?
She and Krystal were on a reality show together, yes, but that was last year.
And lol...I guess it's because you're new to KPop/Korean entertainment, but sooooo many idols (female and male) fuss around with their hair all the time. For them it seems to be some kind of "status symbol". They often even fix their hair during a performance. So it's basically what you said in your last sentence, that the majority of Korean celebrities does this!
Her hair was PERFECT and she kept TOUCHING IT AND TOUCHING IT AND TOUCHING IT. I found it so bizarre but now I feel like I won't be able to stop seeing it.
Mhm, she does touch her hair a lot. But like I said, a lot of idols do that. They also always check their faces in every reflecting surface they pass by. I've seen an EXO-fancam once in which the members got out of the car and immediately started checking their faces and hair in the car windows. xddd Maybe it has something to do with the "duty" of an idol to always look flawless. I don't know! :X
