After their latest single "DIlemma", Infinite is releasing 3rd Japanese single "24 Hours" on April 29th! The title song is originally made for Japan and produced by Kiyoshi Matsuo.The single includes two new songs and the Japanese version of "Together", from the movie Grow.
Fans can preorder 9 different editions in total, with 7 of the editions featuring a specific member on the disc surface. All editions come with an [Event Invitation] or [Present] ticket, which will be used for a mystery event and present later! Those who collect 9 [DVD] tickets can get a special DVD, and some of the photocards will unlock special movies of each member.

Article breaks down the 3 minute rule on music shows where singers are only given 3 minutes to show everything they have. The time is determined by the popularity/power of that artist. They use Amber as an example as someone who got over 3 minutes on all three public broadcast music shows while another mid-tier company girl group had to have their song cut to under 3 minutes despite being a senior group.
One insider said, "There is even a team that quit promoting altogether because they couldn't even get 3 minutes. The producers have to take into consideration what the audience wants to see and the viewer ratings so they asked the group to cut their song to under 2 minutes and they just quit promoting altogether. They basically lost in the power game."

Nickelodeon’s ‘Make It Pop’ Receives Mixed Reactions Ahead of Premiere
Nickelodeon has announced that it will premiere its musical comedy Make It Pop, which stars K-pop star Megan Lee, on April 6 at 7 p.m. The channel will also air a special preview of the sitcom on Thursday, March 26.
Co-created by Nick Cannon and Thomas W. Lynch, Make It Pop follows the story of three teen girls who meet as roommates at an international boarding school and later form the K-pop inspired band XO-IQ [hmmmm.] Megan Lee will be portraying Sun Hi, a social media maven and aspiring pop star.

smh at that producer's answers. Nothing jumped out at me as being particularly K-pop inspired except their "MaKe it Pop" branding (+ maybe that white kid is supposed to be Chad Future;) it pretty much just looks like a Nickelodeon version of Glee/High School Musical with Asian leads. Also I forgot how awful the acting on kids' shows is. The MV called this a "one-month event" so I guess it's sort of like a miniseries? Thoughts, Omona?

Just seven months after making their debut in August 2014, SM Entertainment‘s rookie girl group Red Velvet will soon will soon announce their official fanclub name.
According to a notice posted on March 17th titled “Red Velvet Official Fanclub – Supporters Recruitment Guide,” the official fanclub name for the group has been confirmed.
However, before announcing its name, the fanclub is currently looking and recruiting a formal team of local supporters for the rookie girl group to lead Red Velvet fans. Those interested can apply for the positions, which will be followed by a series of interviews, and will be open up until March 29th.
Following the official recruitment of the fanclub’s leaders, it can be assumed that it is only then Red Velvet’s official fanclub name will be revealed to the public.
Red Velvet recently released their first mini-album Ice Cream Cake, and will be promoting their double title track “Automatic” and “Ice Cream Cake.” New and fifth member Yeri will be making her official debut on the stage this week as well.

The legs are back (but lol they really need to improve that logo!)! I am so excited! The comeback is said to be sexy and powerful and a dance track that will showcase the girls strong colors. The girls look gorgeous, in special Fei, and the concepts seems very bright and fun (but I am lowkey disliking suzy's outfit). I can't believe that they will finally have a showcase! Also, I plan to post the Real miss A Episode as soon as JYPE releases it on youtube!
