SEWOL FERRY DISASTER TO BE MADE INTO A FILM

A private committee in South Korea is raising funds for a documentary on the Sewol ferry disaster, according to Yonhap News. Director Im Jong-tae announced plans to release A Goose’s Dream on the first anniversary of the disaster, which would be April 16 next year.

The committee plans to raise 400 million won (approximately $393,000) through crowdfunding until Oct. 10. Around 300 million won will go towards production costs, and another 100 million won to advertising.

Im told the Korea Times that the two-hour film will delve into a variety of topics, from what actually happened during the sinking to the ongoing rescue efforts, as well as corruption in South Korean society as a whole. Im said film would also be a tribute to the victims.

Crime Scene Finale: Murder of an actress

I bring you the season finale of murder mystery role playing game, JTBC's Crime Scene (크라임씬).

In this show the exceptional cast is brought to a crime scene and they take roles as suspects and use their investigative and deductive skills in various ways (observing the crime scene, group talks, hot seat, one-on-one interrogations) to catch the criminal amongst themselves.
After their investigations, the cast vote for who they suspect is the killer. If the majority of the cast is right, they get the gold prizes but if they're wrong and the killer got away with the crime, the murderer will collect all the gold.
As this is the finale, all the players are putting the gold they've earned during the season on the line and the staff will exchange the gold for cash for the winner(s) in the end.

The guest for the season finale (episode 10) is CNBLUE's Min-Hyuk who tries to take revenge for episode six, where he joined the ranks of the deduction idiots after boasting about his deduction/observation skills...
OP thinks they should have brought back Henry if they were going to invite a guest again~

The cast received the roles a week before the filming, so they have all had time to prepare.
Also the detective who guested in episodes 5&6 joins the cast on the set to help them (let's hope NS Yoon-G doesn't cry this time... ^___^).

A famous actress is murdered in a mysterious and gruesome way in the midst of filming a horror movie.
Will the killer be caught in this exciting finale?

What are your thoughts on this show? We had some changes during the season, but the cast got better and better and the show is very enjoyable.
I think it's been a breath of fresh air in terms of k-variety and am eagerly anticipating season two (it's not announced yet, but it's very likely there will be one).

Super Junior member Kim Hee Chul revealed that he had heard rumors about Park Bom four year ago.

On the July 17 episode of “War of Words” the MCs discussed Park Bom’s illegal drug scandal. During their discussion, Kim Hee Chul revealed that he had already known about the incident four years ago when it originally happened.

Kim Hee Chul said, “These kind of rumors spread quickly among celebrities, and four years ago I heard the rumors from a reporter over drinks. He said an incident at YG will blow up soon. I didn’t really think it would happen soon, but when it did come up he said ‘I told you it would, didn’t I?’”

Regarding being an idol
Yixing: There are three important points to being an idol. First of all it's the fans, followed by the company, and then yourself. The reason why I've placed the fans at the first place is, if there weren't any fans giving us their unconditional, selfless love, how do we become idols in the first place? When you have become an idol, gained fans, but if there wasn't any company to package you properly, to provide you with good music and platforms and opportunities, how do we present ourselves to the public? As an idol, you are a role model to many, the basic morals that everyone has and can achieve, we have to do it ten, or hundred times more.

Regarding composing
Yixing: Making music is something very free, it doesn't mean that once you have a good idea you will be able to write a good song, the composing team has to take time to blend and adjust to share the same vision in order to make good music. Everyone has their own ideas and imaginations when it comes to music. Be it them adding colors to the tracks I've came up with, or me touching up on their works, how to blend everyone's works and ideas, it's like how people interact with other people. Actually, what I've learned the most from the production team in our company, are teamwork and the art of being a person.

Girl’s Day confessed that some members underwent big changes in regards to their physical appearance for their latest hit “Darling.”

Having recently made their anticipated summer comeback with “Darling,” the girls sat down with news outlet Segye Ilbo to talk about their new look and sound.

The comeback music video featuring the members dancing around in bikinis and shorts has caught the interest of many, and when asked about their diet prior to filming the video, Minah revealed, “I gained some weight.”

As she is currently appearing on SBS’ new variety show “Eco Village,” she explained, “Building a house is so demanding that I ate five meals a day. As a result, I gained weight.”

Sojin added, “Minah really did gain some weight recently. But when she goes on a diet, it is scary. She can manage through a day with just a handful of snacks,” and expressed her admiration over Minah’s strong willpower.

In regards to other positive gains from “Eco Village,” Sojin commented, “Minah and Yura have naturally light skin, but as they have been building the house, their skin has gotten tanner. They are now similar to Hyeri. Our skin tones are becoming nicely tanned.”

Minah said, “I thought tanned skin would not look good on me, but I actually like it.”

Wassup to hold solo concert in Brazil + reveal concert greeting message!

Hip-hop girl group Wassup is going to be the first K-Pop girl group to hold a solo concert in South America! The concert and a fan meet are scheduled for this upcoming September in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This will be the start of their South American concert tour.

Although several K-Pop boy groups have already held concerts in South America, this will be the first time for a K-Pop girl group to hold a solo concert in South America. Will this open up the second chapter of the K-Pop girl group boom in South America?

With the announcement of their concert plans, they have now released an English video message to greet fans for their upcoming concert! Watch the cute video as they thank their Brazilian fans for their support!

Since their debut in 2013 with the single “Wa$$up”, Wassup first started to garner attention with their twerking moves and other compelling choreographies. They are part of the Mafia Record agency and consist of seven members - Jinju, Nari, Nada, Dain, Woojoo, Sujin and Jiae. Meanwhile, they are in preparation for their comeback in Korea approaching soon.

My first post guys!!It took me forever to figure out how to embed DM then I felt stupid because it was really easy.
I was worried about this show because I thought that they were going to talk about controversial things but that didn't really happen. Although, I guess that can be more attributed to VIXX never really doing anything bad rather than the lack of trying on the show's part.
I firmly believes that Hyuk should be encouraged to continue showing his "talents". It seemed awkward for the MC's and the others but I was laughing my ass off.
